This auction is for 1964 Lincoln Continental 4 door- this car was stored for 13 years and then shipped to florida. The exterior is older paint black and car used to be stamp in in color befor the black there are some areas in paint that are bad.the car runs and drives minor issues needs 2 hoses that connect to wiper motor they are starting to drip at upper crimping motor strong tipical oil drip 50 years engine rebuilt recent, new items on engine are as follow: edelbrock carb.alternator,engine management module,oil change,points rotor,wipers,head lights, and wire fix, new nappa battery,exhaust is all new, brakes are good,. The interior needs weather stripping and full restoration ac did work needs charge the window switches are all rebuilt the power seat yes works dash clock does not i have a complete set of all interments and am radio,that i have been hunting down this car has no carpet it was pulled out asap to start the presses of restoration doors open and close perfectly some vacume leaves due to the year.dash has no wear or cracks all intact sweet! the come is all there and i also have extra stored away tires are half tread orm hub caps intact spare ok mic jack ect, inside trunk is no cancer the lid is showing some moister rust between seams 3 sets of keys very solid car to start 100 point rest any extra pics or questions feel free to email me bbeattybrdi@gmail.com this car is a driver driven often ect thanks !

Tesla offered nuclear plant in France, and more | Autoblog Minute
Fri, Apr 8 2016Longtime GM design chief Ed Welburn retires, Lincoln says it has high customer interest in Continental, and could Tesla build the Model 3 in France? Senior Editor Greg Migliore reports on this edition of Autoblog Minute. Show full video transcript text [00:00:00] General Motors' long time Vice President of design, Ed Welburn, announced his retirement this week. He joined GM in 1972 and he's just the sixth design chief in GM's 108 years. He's being replaced by Michael Simcoe who is Vice President of design for GM's international operations. Now Ed Welburn's time at GM dates back to when he was 11 years old. He wrote a letter to the company saying he wanted to be a designer. [00:00:30] Someone at General Motors got back to him and the rest is history. Lincoln already has 40,000 hand raisers for the new Continental. Now those aren't Tesla figures but it's still a very healthy number and shows a lot of interest for its new flagship sedan. The Continental will replace the MKS in Lincoln's lineup. Continental will be in showrooms this fall and it will offer a 3.0L V6 twin-turbo with 400 HP. Lincoln President Kumar Galhotra said, "No other Lincoln vehicle has [00:01:00] generated this much interest in this little time." This week in Tesla news, Reuters reports that a French government official has offered Elon Musk the site of a an old nuclear reactor to build a car factory. The reactor, which is located in the Alsace region of France, is set to close at the end of this year. Now this notion is not that far fetched. Musk says that he would consider it. Meanwhile demand for the Model 3 continues to be strong and has attracted hundreds of thousands of hand raisers. [00:01:30] Those are the highlights form the week that was. Ford names Lincoln chief as North American president following Nair's departure
Thu, Feb 22 2018Ford announced yesterday that its North American president Raj Nair would no longer be working for the company due to "inappropriate behavior." As a result, the company needed fill that gaping vacancy. The new North American president and Ford Group vice president will be Kumar Galhotra, and his term in the new role will start on March 1. Galhotra will remain the group vice president and chief marketing officer for Lincoln through March, meaning he's the head of the luxury brand. He's had this position since 2014. Before that, he was vice president of engineering for all of Ford. With Galhotra's promotion, a number of internal promotions follow. Joy Falotico, current chairman, CEO and group vice president of Ford's credit division will fill Galhotra's position, and Dave McClelland, vice president of marketing for Ford Asia Pacific, will fill her role. Other shuffling at Ford includes Stewart Rawley's promotion to vice president for Ford North America and chief operating officer. He is the current vice president for strategy at Ford. Ford China's chairman and CEO John Lawler will take Rawley's old role, and Cathy O'Callaghan will take over Lawler's job at Ford China, but not until June 1. O'Callaghan is currently vice president, corporate controller and chief financial officer for global markets at Ford. Related Video:
