History:
I personally hand picked this car from a Insurance Auction with very minor damage to the front driver side. I changed the driver fender the hood and driver headlight along with a complete paint job professionally done at a body shop that does nothing but high end cars. This car had absolutely zero chassis damage or suspension damage and besides the parts I replaced everything else is all original. This car only had that one accident its entire life. I have now owned this car for a little bit over a year and had further plans of doing a 2jzgte swap but I am not financially capable of doing such thing at this point in life. I am just looking to sell a amazing car that handles and feels great! Not to mention anyone that's in to LEXUS will appreciate this car from its looks and condition for a 14 year old car. Are you the 2015 Lexus RC F?
Thu, 02 Jan 2014With less than two weeks before the start of the 2014 Detroit Auto Show, we're starting to get a better idea of what some of the hot debuts are for this year's installment of America's premiere auto show.
The latest leaked image to hit the internet is what purports to be the Lexus RC F, the Japanese premium brand's long-awaited return to the coupe market and the latest challenger for the upcoming BMW M4, a model that will also be arriving in Detroit. This image was reportedly originally leaked by a Chinese magazine, and was then picked up by our friends at AutoExpress.
The image fits with the teasers and spy shots we've seen of the car so far, meaning that this could very well be the real deal. As we've previously reported, Lexus is expected to offer the RC F with a 460-horsepower V8, while a lower-power RC 350 with two fewer cylinders will also be available. We'll have the full set of details on the RC F when it hits the stage in Detroit.
Final Lexus IS F rolls off assembly line in Japan, bound for US
Mon, 04 Aug 2014We knew this day would come, but it's nonetheless a bit of a sad one for Lexus enthusiasts as the very last example of the IS F has rolled off the assembly line in Tahara, Japan. Decked out in its trademark bright blue, the final IS F is destined for a customer right here in the United States.
Far from just another now-defunct model in an endless succession, the IS F marked the first time that Lexus did a proper performance model, debuting in production guise at the 2007 Detroit Auto Show alongside the LFA concept long before the latter entered production and took the idea of the high-performance Lexus even further. The IS F may not have sold in huge numbers, but it definitely marked a milestone for Toyota's luxury division.
Don't cry too much, however, as the new RC F that effectively takes its place packs an even mightier punch. While both are powered by essentially the same 5.0-liter V8 engine mated to an eight-speed automatic driving the rear wheels, the outgoing sedan's 416 horsepower and 371 pound-feet of torque is easily outgunned by the new coupe's 450 hp and 383 lb-ft.
