Welcome. You are viewing a Super Rare 1995 Lexus SC400, with a V8 and automatic transmission. These are very hard to find with very low mileage of 87k Original Factory Actual Mileage. The car runs/drives, exceptionally smoothly, where a Lexus should feel like. You would never think its a 1995. Since it was built ahead of its time. The engine is real quiet as well. When you start the engine, you can still hear the power from the factory engine/exhaust. Sounds very healthy.Drives even nicer ofcourse, as mentioned. The body/paint are pretty much in excellent condition. The front bumper has some minor chips, expected wear. The car has never been in any major wreck at all. Only one of the bumpers were repainted back in 2006, for some minimal paintwork needed. Nothing major at all. The body panels are pretty much original. Heat works great, radio/stereo/electronics in general. The sunroof is nice as well. The tires have alot of tread on them as well. I purchased the car about 2 years ago, from an elderly gentleman, who was the main owner of the car. He took very nice care of it, which is why I jumped on it.I just collect older Rare cars, til I get bored with them. Im sure someone will get great usage out of it, rather than sit in my garage. The body style is very original and will turn heads. Especially the rare Sky Blue color, goes very well with the Black leather interior. The price is $7950 if picked up, and shipped for $8500 to most areas East Coast and surrounding states. It will be more in other areas. Though I can help with that, and get the price for you. No problem. I will assist throughout the whole process. PRICE IS FIRM $7950, again, IF PICKED UP. Please do not email offers, Im not interested at all. Ive seen these on ebay with under 100k miles go for about $12k to 14k. So my price is very low. And the title is clean clear, never salvage. I priced it to sell this week. Im not interested in trades either. CALL 516-996-5252 7 days a week 6 AM to 9 PM. And yes you can call 6 AM, Eastern time. Im up very early, and its my direct number, If Im asleep, my phone will be silent, no worries. CALL to make arrangements or address concerns. Please be a funded ready buyer before you call to ask many different questions. Not just a dreamer please. Only Serious buyers.

The 2016 Lexus RX is more of everything [w/video]

Wed, Apr 1 2015

Both literally and symbolically, the RX is Lexus. The crossover accounts for more than a third of the brand's overall sales. Last year Lexus moved 107,490 RX 350s, almost as much as every BMW SUV combined. The first-generation RX 300 was such a hit it forced other luxury automakers to follow suit. And the outgoing third-gen model epitomizes the current challenge Lexus faces: it's comfortable, but boring – exactly like the reputation the brand wants to shed. The new 2016 Lexus RX, then, is the Lexus weathervane. In short: more style, space, and technology while retaining the plushness that keeps current owners happy. As is current Lexus tradition, the RX gets a massive spindle grille. And while there are more creases and character lines than before, the overall styling is softer than the angular NX. The conservative approach shows that Lexus took a cautious approach to its cash cow, while using lower-volume models like the RC coupe to push boundaries. Still, Lexus has made an honest attempt at sporting up the RX. The RX 350 retains the 3.5-liter V6 but gets a 30-horsepower boost to 300 hp, and the RX 450h now makes 300 ponies as well. In all-wheel-drive guise, both models can be had in F Sport trim, which brings exterior tweaks like 20-inch wheels and a unique instrument cluster. F Sport models also include an active stabilizer system to minimize roll in corners. All RX models also come with dampers and steering that automatically adjust to the driving situation. Inside, the new RX is loaded up with features, like a standard 12.3-inch infotainment screen and an optional color head-up display. A list of electronic safety features is too long to mention, but includes collision mitigation, lane-keeping assist, and automatic high beams. See the press release below for the full rundown, or just trust us when we say you can get the RX with almost every driving aid out there. The rear seats now feature a power-fold feature, and when the seats are up second row passengers are treated to more leg- and knee-room. That extra interior space comes from an overall stretching of the RX. Wheelbase grows 1.9 inches, while length is up almost five inches. What the new RX doesn't yet have, but we're told is on the way, is a third row of seats. The added versatility of a seven-passenger version should broaden the appeal of the RX to a wider audience. Expect to see the RX 350 and RX 450h in showrooms by the end of the year, with the three-row version coming sometime in 2016.

Finally, Lexus has a sick-looking crossover concept

Thu, Sep 8 2016

So, Lexus isn't playing it safe. The Japanese luxury brand revealed a concept called the UX that will be revealed at the Paris Motor Show, and to say it's eye-catching is an understatement. It looks like one of those new-fangled, coupe-styled SUVs, along the lines of the BMW X6, though Lexus isn't explaining exactly what the UX is. It nebulously says the concept is meant to appeal to a "progressive, urban audience living in a connected environment." Sounds like an X6-, or perhaps an X4-fighter, to us. Oh, and probably with Wi-Fi. As you can see, the UX has massively flared fenders (which add an off-road vibe), a raked roofline and huge wheels. Pretty concepty, in other words. Like the NX SUV, which debuted as a concept then went into production largely unchanged, the UX has a lot of angles and curves. Like the NX, it will probably be divisive at first but a strong entry in the crossover segment if it makes it to production (we think it will). Lexus only released this rear three-quarters shot, so we'll have to wait to see what the front looks like. We'd expect Lexus' spindle grille and some snazzy LED lights. Inside, the UX "showcases imaginative technologies for an immersive driver experience, while the interior marries traditional craftsmanship with high-tech manufacturing techniques," Lexus says. Translation: It will be really digital inside with some wood, carbon-fiber, or fancy plastic trim. It debuts Sept. 29 in Paris. 2014 Lexus IS brings boldest design yet to entry-level luxury

Tue, 15 Jan 2013

Lexus is evidently dead serious about removing some of the starch from its collar, as evidenced by the boldly styled new IS sedan just unveiled here at the Detroit Auto Show. We didn't know what to make of Lexus' entry-level sport sedan when we first saw images of it earlier this week. Dominated by the gaping maw of a spindle grille and flanked by headlamps with Nike swoosh daytime running lamps, the photos showed a distinctive (if not completely cohesive) design. Having now seen the design in the metal, we have to admit it comes together better than it does on screen.
The new model will feature both rear- and all-wheel drive models in both 2.5-liter V6 (IS250) and 3.5-liter V6 (IS350) trims. Lexus also showed an IS300h hybrid model at the reveal, but it is earmarked for Lexus' home market of Japan, along with Europe and other markets. No word yet on why the model probably won't be sold here in North America, but our AutoblogGreen compatriots are looking into it.
Aside from its bold new look front and rear, the IS carries forward a lot of the ideas seen in other newer Lexus models, namely the GS. Hidden beneath the IS' sheetmetal is the multilink rear suspension from the GS, along with its electric power steering setup. The new IS rides atop a three-inch longer wheelbase for better rear seat room, but during our brief time sitting in the car at the press conference melee, it still didn't feel terribly roomy (it rarely does in this class). At least the seatbacks fold 60/40 for the first time for additional utility.
