2002 Lexus Sc430 Base 02 Sc 430 Low Miles 57,100 - Black Tan Ecru on 2040-cars
Cornelius, North Carolina, United States
Please read this AD in its entirety prior to contacting me. This is a beautiful example of a 2002 Lexus SC430 with extremely low miles. 57,XXX miles - This is our 4th vehicle and will stay with low miles until sold. The vehicle includes 3 keys (2 masters and 1 valet) and has all of the manuals and OEM first aid kit in the trunk. The V8 in this is subtle but moves when you want it too! Mechanically, the vehicle is in excellent condition and drives like a Lexus should. I am including a brand new set of Kumho tires and a brand new set of front and rear OEM Lexus/Toyota brake pads (neither installed). The tires and brake pads have not been installed yet due to time constraints. Also included is a brand new set of floor mats (they're currently in the trunk - only opened to spray with Scotch Guard). Here is the bad: Again... please read in its entirety. 2. The navigation screen is in the "Open" position and the screen has an error message. I believe it needs an updated navigation disc. 3. The wood panel that covers the navigation screen and stereo intermittently work. 4. The cassette player does not work (the CD player DOES work) 5. There is a dent on the front bumper - driver's side (can be removed via paintless dent removal (PDR)). There are a few dings in both doors, and a small dent on the roof of the convertible. 6. The rear bumper on the driver's side has a scrape and the side reflector is cracked (I have purchased a new OEM side reflector) 7. The speakers in the door sound blown, but from my research, the foam surroundings go bad on these vehicles. I have purchased a kit off the internet to fix, but again time constraints have prevented me from tackling. 8. It is missing the antennae. Still picks up a pretty decent reception. 9. The overhead lights/garage door opener does not work. ----------- All of that being said, the asking price is $16,000 and is very firm. This is mainly because of the low low miles and the potential this vehicle has. I HAVE TAKEN THE REQUIRED WORK INTO CONSIDERATION WHEN PRICING THE VEHICLE. DO NOT REQUEST TO SEE THE VEHICLE IF YOU'RE NOT COMFORTABLE PAYING $16,000. IF YOUR BUDGET IS $15,500, PLEASE DO NOT WASTE EIETHER OF OUR TIME. The price includes a brand new set of UNINSTALLED Kumho tires, OEM front/rear brake pads, speaker repair kit, and floor mats. On AutoTrader.com - A 200 mile search around 28031 - 2002-2005 Lexus SC430 with under 60,000 miles - There are 5 available for sale ranging from $24,900 to $33,866. This is your opportunity to save and still enjoy the convertible for the Summer and Fall.
Excellent Condition - $19,668 Please contact me via eBay. Thank you! |

Lexus ES 350 vs. Lincoln MKZ
Tue, Jun 6 2017Despite a lineup of well-received crossovers on the Lexus showroom, the midsize Lexus ES 350 four-door continues to appeal to consumers. Many of those customers are older, so you won't see marketing budgets directed toward them; no one, other than the pharmaceutical companies, is spending money marketing to baby boomers. But a midsize, moderately expressive sedan with an easy buying experience and almost coddled ownership still has its fans, and the Lexus ES 350 delivers those attributes in spades. We'd like to say Lincoln's MKZ (pictured above) is hot on the Lexus' heels, but Lincoln's lineup remains a work in progress. The Fusion-based MKZ offers a nice mix of attributes, but Lincoln's dealer count has shrunk, and many Lincoln outlets are located within – or immediately adjacent to – Ford stores. If a Fusion-based Lincoln credibly aspires to Lexus-like attributes, the same won't be said for the Ford showrooms. Here are the offerings: The Lexus ES 350 team has, over the sedan's several variations, worked hard to separate the volume Lexus from Toyota's similar Camry, and in 2017 that separation might actually be quantifiable. To its credit, the ES 350 (pictured at left) comes with but one non-hybrid drivetrain, a 3.5 liter V6 connected to a six-speed automatic driving the front wheels. With it, the ES 350 delivers a motoring experience bordering on the sublime. With the exception of its now-predictable big mouth grille, the balance of the ES sheetmetal is responsibly muted, inoffensive to the eye and should wear well through the typical payment cycle. Access to its moderately upscale interior is easy, and once inside you'll find expansive room (some 100 cubic feet) for four, along with adequate space for the occasional fifth. With a curb weight of just 3,600 pounds, the V6's 268 horsepower and 248 pound-feet of torque is responsive, and that's evident in the four-door's 7-second sprint to 60. This isn't a track day or autocross weapon, but if part of your day is a stressful commute, this will make it less so. With a base – albeit well appointed – spec, the ES 350 retails for just under $40,000. We would order ours in Atomic Silver, even if "atomic" seems so last-century. If you can forget – for a minute – the Matthew McConaughey connection, know that Lincoln's MKZ is fully credible as a midsize, mid-fashion sedan. If you like your Fords with more expressive interiors and additional driving refinement, there's a lot to like in Lincoln's MKZ.
Lexus confirms three-row RX coming by 2018
Thu, Mar 24 2016Now seems like the perfect time for Lexus to launch a three-row version of its RX crossover. Not only are CUVs flying off of dealer lots – as you probably already know, the RX is Lexus' best-selling model – there aren't all that many car-based luxury soft-roaders on the market for Lexus to compete with. Problem is, these things take time, and product planners don't always get the new-model cadence just right. Now, though, we at least have a tentative date for the extended-wheelbase 'ute's arrival. According to Automotive News, Lexus General Manager Jeff Bracken has confirmed that the brand is readying a three-row version of the RX with plans to have it in the clutches of salivating dealers by late 2017 or early 2018. Chances are, the new model will wear RX 350L badges in gas-powered guise and carry the RX 450hL moniker in hybrid form. As AN points out, these names were registered as trademarks earlier this month. That indicates we'll see both standard V6 and optional hybrid-powered versions of the three-row RX. Not only will the extended RX keep the same nomenclature, it'll also look pretty much the same as its five-seat siblings. According to Bracken, "We put so much energy into the styling you see now that we didn't want to compromise even with the third row." All we have to do now is wait, said Bracken. "They would just love to have it now. But I think they're quite relieved that they know it's coming." Related Video:
