As an L1 Mastertech I can honestly say this car is one of the best ever built! This car really got Detroit's attention!
My intention was to make it like new and maybe a little better with viper remote start and a 98 home link added, (not available in 95) It has new paint White Diamond Pearl painstakingly wet sanded and polished to a glass like finish, (car was painted due to rock chips minor door dings I find no evidence of it ever been wrecked) New matching Italian leather (front seats). Nakamichi optional sound system is amazing, New Pirelli Cinturato tires on later factory chrome 5 spoke wheels, Fresh Alignment, New Timing belt w/water pump and related pulleys, New valve seals, New Radiator, Factory Motor and trans mounts, New Brakes/Rotors, Front struts, 7 yr AC Delco Battery, New cluster back lighting bulbs, Torque converter & rear main seal. Rear sides and back glass tinted, All maintenance done and new fluids, It's important to me as a Mastertech that this car represents me well, It has 190k and runs and drives like it did when it drove off the show room floor, It was originally sold at Longo Lexus of LA. 2013 Lexus LS 600h L
Wed, 15 May 2013I have spent the last seven days driving the Starfire Pearl (read: white) 2013 Lexus LS 600h L you see here. And after roughly 500 miles of errand-running, highway-cruising, commuting and people-schlepping, I can safely say this: I don't get it.
The LS hybrid is a nice car. It's comfortable, has every amenity you'd ever want in a luxury boat, and with its freshened appearance for 2013, it looks modern, integrating the company's new spindle grille into an overall package that's elegant. None of this is bad news. But let me explain why I still cannot wrap my head around the overall LS 600h L package:

When the now-outgoing Lexus IS generation was launched back in 2006, the company would not have been wise to bring the compact luxury sedan to be driven by journalists to a track like Driveway Austin Motorsports. Taking along a BMW 335i for comparison loops would have proved an ill choice as well.
Our own Jonathon Ramsey found the current-generation Lexus IS250 to be fairly nimble over a tightly wound autocross course, when he drove it back-to-back with the prototype version of this 2014 IS a few months ago. Our track for testing the fully realized version of the IS350 F-Sport meanwhile - again with the 2013 version along for competitive driving - was on a circuit designed to string together recreations of some of the best tracks in the world. Laguna Seca, bits of the Nürburgring and sections inspired by Imola and Ferrari's Fiorano test track all make for a far more enticing road course than you'd expect to find plunked down in a nondescript area a few miles east of downtown Austin. Critically, this environment highlighted what strides Lexus has made in the sport sedan race with its new IS.
Lexus coupe caught in spy shots actually RC, headed for Tokyo reveal?
Tue, 16 Jul 2013Lexus may have pulled a fast one on us. The car our spy shooters spotted yesterday may not, in fact, be an IS F Coupe as we indicated. Rather, the car shown above may be a new model, dubbed RC, that will arrive at this year's Tokyo Motor Show.
Following a report from Automotive News, the RC is believed to be a pure coupe, rather than a hardtop convertible. This gels with information provided on the IS sedan's launch, when Lexus spokespeople said the IS Convertible would remain on the current platform. With styling based on the LF-CC from the 2012 Paris show, the new car will share a rear-drive platform with the IS and GS sedans.
Power is expected to come from a 3.5-liter V6 that turns out 306 horsepower. That car will likely wear the RC 350 badge. A hybrid model is expected to follow, but in a twist, it won't be coming to the US. The big news, though, is that the RC will spawn an RC F.
