1994 Lexus LS 400. Original white pearlescent exterior paint. Overall good solid running condition and smooth riding car. Alignment and tire balance are excellent. Recently had the alternator replaced in March of this year and fuel system cleaned. The rack and pinion was replaced about 3 years ago. I will include all paper work of service done while I have owned the vehicle. Engine may have a oil drip somewhere as when it gets hot you can smell oil, but no oil appears to be leaking from underneath onto the ground. The service tech at AAA explained that the vehicle will be in need of a tune up sometime in the future, which may resolve the oil smell. I never have to add oil to the vehicle so it must be a minor leak if one at all. I usually clean the K&M air filter twice a year. Vehicle has good brakes and rotors. The battery is new as of 2011. Overall the engine runs strong still with no ticking or knocking and has great pick up for its age. Since I have owned the vehicle in 2008 I only run 93 gas in it from Shell. Transmission shifts very smooth while accelerating and has either normal or power mode. The inside of the vehicle has some cracks on the front leather seats from heat and age and it has been smoked in. Otherwise the back leather seats and floors are very clean. The dashboard cluster has the classic Lexus problem of not turning on and flashing especially when its cold outside. Lately if I take the vehicle for a drive over 20 minutes it eventually turns on, but until then it is dark and hard to read. The gas gauge may need a new float in the tank as it as well does not give a reading for sometime after the car has been on. I have not researched how to repair the dashboard cluster so I will leave that up to the new buyer. The odometer still keeps accurate mileage even though it cannot be read until the cluster turns on. The A/C and heater both work great although the LCD displays for the time and temp setting have both blacked out so they cannot be read( which is another common problem for this year Lexus). Stereo works great and has a six disc CD changer in the trunk, the antenna works well and raises and lowers as it should. All power windows and moonroof open well with no issues. Otherwise the only other interior issue is the headliner towards the back window on the driver side needs a couple new clips as the original clips have come off at some point so it hangs down a little. The exterior paint is overall pretty good condition with only a couple minor dings and scratches here and there. The front bumper was repainted in 2009 as it the paint was wearing off the top part in front of the grill and was yellowing (like the gray area along the back where it meets the paint). The company that painted it tried to match it up as best they could although where it was repainted is a slight color off from the rest of the car, as the paint on the rest of the vehicle has faded over the years from the sun. Vehicle had dent repair done on the hood and roof from hail. Dual exhaust system is in great condition with no issues. Wipers work great. Right front headlight glass has a very small hole in it about the size of a bb, all lights work as they should (headlights, taillights etc..) Tires have a lot of tread left, front leftt tire has some cracking so not sure if it needs to be replaced or not. Spare tire is the original Lexus rim that came with car. Trunk is very clean and has tool kit and first aid kit along with full size spare.Comes with two keys with security. Overall has been a great vehicle for me I just want to go more with a SUV type vehicle. Feel free to ask any questions. Phone # available upon request. Clean title in hand. Buyer is responsible for pick up or shipping.

Drifting on a frozen lake with a studded Lexus looks like fun
Fri, 15 Feb 2013Sometimes you come across a list of ingredients and you don't even need to know what's being made, you just know you need to be there when it's done. So if you saw a recipe for a Vimeo video that was one snow-covered frozen lake, one Lexus IS, four studded tires, two ice fisherman and one guy lounging on a couch, do you think you'd have any questions?
We didn't. The dish was cooked up by the Wide Open Drift Team and KSP Productions, and it's exactly what you'd think it is. Right down to the guy on the couch. We're glad we got to partake, and you can too in the video below.
Will.I.Am stars in new Lexus NX commercial, designs a version for Paris
Wed, 24 Sep 2014Whether you love or hate its chiseled, angular lines and spindle grille, the Lexus NX is a big step for the brand as it jumps into the sea of luxury compact crossovers. We've already checked out the new CUV, and to promote its European launch, along with a different nose, Lexus has teamed up with producer and musician Will.I.Am for a commercial titled Striking Angles.
As the name suggests, the ad imagines a futuristic world where practically everything shares the NX's sharp-angled design aesthetic, including the wildlife. Over a thumping remix of his Dreamin' About the Future, the luxury CUV rolls through the misty city streets for Will.I.Am to check out.
That's not the end of Lexus' promotional efforts for its newest addition, though. The brand is also displaying a one-off NX styled by Will.I.Am during Paris Fashion Week. Read the automaker's entire release about its marketing plan for the CUV, below.
Anything but boring | 2018 Lexus LC 500 First Drive
Thu, Dec 8 2016This is it, the headliner, the main event. After years of Lexus promising to make less-boring cars and instead giving us countless spindle-grille facelifts, the 2018 LC 500 is here as the brand's new North Star. It's the official halo to mark where Toyota's luxury brand is headed. This is the car that we hope can bring an end to the relentless mentions of boring cars - which are themselves needlessly boring. And besides, "not boring" is a terrible metric for evaluation. What Lexus is really trying to do is give its cars some spirit, to transcend the paint-by-numbers stereotype that made this brand the luxury juggernaut it is today. By that yardstick, the LC 500 is a success simply based on how it looks. It's beautiful in a way that we couldn't predict from the 2012 LF-LC concept that foreshadowed it. The kind of beauty where instead of reflexively grabbing your phone to take a picture, you just stand there and keep looking. And pictures don't do this car justice, anyway. They soften the edges and reduce the massive draw of the wide shoulders. In person, looking straight at the LC, the car looks like it's 80 percent hood. In the rest of the lineup, the trademark Lexus grille's execution ranges from caricature (RC) to botched nose job (LX). Here it pulls everything together. From every other angle, the LC has some feature that seems excessive – in the best way possible. The proportions of the LC give off a distinctively functional vibe, and it's genuine. That hood is so long because the 5.0-liter V8's center of mass sits three and a half inches behind the front axle. The extra space up front is mostly empty - Lexus uses high-strength steel cross-braces to shore up torsional rigidity instead of adding structure ahead of the front wheels, and the battery sits under the trunk floor. For all the visual excitement, the LC is still a conventional vehicle. Aside from some advancements in the LC 500h's hybrid powertain, the innovation here is of the iterative type. It's interesting, in that Lexus is betting on emotional appeal and driving character at a time when the future relevance of both is up for debate. If anything, the LC is a car for the current automotive world, not the one to come. And despite extensive use of aluminum and sheet-molded carbon, the LC 500 weighs in at a hefty 4,280 pounds. That's right in line with the BMW 6 Series and a good deal below the Batali-esque Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe's 4,700 pounds.
