Pennant Motors is pleased to present this absolutely amazing and unspeakably rare 2003 Lexus IS300 SportCross. The IS300 has long been regarded as a go-to car among enthusiasts for incredible handling and performance. With its inline 6 cylinder VVT-i engine, along with rear wheel drive, these cars are incredible drivers cars. Very few smaller cars have this configuration. On top of that, this is the ultra-rare sportcross wagon version. Hardly any of these were imported to North America, and very few were distributed worldwide! On to of that, this sportcross is nearly completely optioned. It has the voice navigation system, heated full leather interior, traction control, and chrome wheels. On top of all of this, this car originated in California, and only came to the East Coast just last year. It has spent nearly its entire life in the Los Angeles area. The interior of this car is spectacular.
The black full leather interior is in beautiful condition and is trimmed with contrasting piping for an added sense of sport and luxury The dash and carpets are also in very nice condition. It has automatic climate controls which functions fine. The AC works well and the compressor engages properly. The condition overall is just remarkable. It does have the premium Lexus audio system with in-dash CD changer. This stereo system is fantastic, and the sportcross even expands upon the sedan's audio system by adding two additional cargo area speakers, along with a subwoofer. This IS300 also have the somewhat rare navigation system which functions just fine. The directional knob for the controls is missing, however you can still operate them just fine without the knob. It's also important to note the very unique chronograph style gauges. In my opinion, they are the most creative and attractive gauges ever fitted to any car. The outside of this IS300 SportCross is beautiful and is finished in very rare and desirable "Intensa Blue" color. This is a somewhat bright medium blue color which really stands out. It is also accented by stock chrome covered alloy wheels which provide an excellent contrast with the blue color. Generally, I'm not a fan of chrome wheels, but I think they look great on this car. It is important to note that the chrome wheels have some minor corrosion along the inside of them, but it is not very noticeable, and not bad since this car has spent most of its life on the west coast. This is one of those cases, where I feel that the wagon version of this car actually looks quite a bit better than the sedan. The car has a very balanced look to it, and the lines of the wagon are much more flowing. The car is in exceptionally nice condition for any miles. The exterior is in great condition overall, but it does have some scratches, most notably a series of scratches on the drivers and rear drivers side door. The are minor enough that it was difficult for me to get them to show up in pictures, but they are most certainly there. There are also some minor door dings, but very few. This IS300 also has xenon gas-discharge headlamps, along with a power moonroof and limited slip differential. This IS300 drives just wonderfully. The engine sounds amazing and is incredibly smooth. The transmission shifts perfectly. I was so impressed with how well this car drives, and I just love the sound of inline 6 cylinder engines. The ride is smooth, and the car is very, very comfortable while being very tight and sporty feeling. It's cars like this that really show Lexus' engineering and construction superiority. This is a great car for a long distance road-trip, or a dash to the grocery! It's important to note that the timing belt service has been completed by Lexus Santa Monica in Santa Monica, California. We also have several service records for this car. They will be passed along to the purchaser. We recognize that this is a very large purchase for you, and it may be difficult to swallow making a purchase long-distance like this. You're welcome to give us a call, and we'll do a step-by-step complete walk-around of the car to help you familiarize yourself with it. |
This car includes a 3 Month 5000 Mile powertrain warranty at no additional charge. The warranty can be used at any repair shop in the United States, no matter where you live. This warranty covers the engine, transmission, and drivetrain. This is in place in order to provide peace of mind when purchasing a car via the internet. Additionally, this warranty can be adjusted to cover nearly every component on the car, and can be extended up to four years and unlimited mileage. Contact us for details on this affordable upgrade in coverage.

Additionally, if you're looking for a more economical option, you can get a quote at www.uship.com. With affordable shipping to anywhere in the world, it is now easier than ever to find exactly the car you want at a price you like.
Since you're bidding, or making an offer, on a car which you may have not seen in person, it is important that a level of trust be established between you, our customer, and us, the dealership. This is why we post between 30 and 60 high-resolution images of every car we sell on ebay. We pride ourselves in having the most detailed, highest resolution images on ebay, and we use the finest photography equipment in order to catch even the smallest details of the cars that we sell. In addition, the description above provides a comprehensive walk-around of the car including the interior, exterior, and mechanical systems. We even will fill you in on any previous maintenance that we've performed. Regardless, all cars that we sell have been thoroughly checked for safety by our in-house master technician. In addition, we road-test every car we sell very extensively before offering it. If there are any issues with the car that are present, they will be mentioned in the auction. Because we road test the cars extensively, it is possible that the car may have more miles on it than when the auction was listed. We always encourage you to come check out the car in person before bidding or making an offer. If you are too far away to do this, there are several inspection services that can review the car, or we can take the car to a local garage of your choice for a pre-purchase inspection.
Please note that a $250 deposit within 24 hours of the end of the auction. This deposit can be made by contacting us directly and can be paid by credit or debit card over the phone. This allows us to speak with you person-to-person which allows us to fill you in on the process and fine details of the transaction, as well as lets you know that we are real people who are committed to making the process of purchasing your new car as easy and painless as possible. Buying a car should be fun and exciting, not a chore. The balance is due within 7 days via Certified Check, Money Order, or bank wire transfer. We can also accept credit cards and personal checks for full payment with prior authorization. Simply contact us before bidding or making your offer to let us know that you plan on paying with one of these methods so that we can let you know about additional terms that apply. Non-paying buyers wil be reported to ebay. We charge a $255 dealer services fee for all transactions. This fee covers any additional paperwork service, overnighting of paperwork, and dealer prep. We can provide a temporary cardboard plate for out of state customers at no charge. Pennsylvania residents will need to pay sales tax between 6% and 7% depending upon your county of residence. There are also Pennsylvania fees for the registration, title, and license plate (unless you bring your own plate to transfer).
Inexpensive used cars are not at all the same as a brand new car, or certified pre-owned vehicle. They are in no way flawless, or perfect. As noted above, we try our absolute best to disclose any issues which may be present on the car, however a car's condition is somewhat subjective and opinion based. Where door ding may be considered perfectly acceptable on a 10 year old car, it would never be acceptible on a car which is brand new. Also, on higher-mileage used cars, it is important to remember that virtually any mechanical or non-mechanical component can fail at any time. We cannot predict what components will fail in the future, or when they will fail. This is simply the nature of older higher mileage used vehicles. The best that we can do is assure that the car is operating properly at the time of purchase. This car is sold as-is, and we cannot be held responsible for any mechanical or non-mechanical failure. Additionally, because we do not know the inspection requirements of other states, we cannot guarantee that this vehicle will pass any out-of-state inspections. ![]()

Lexus announced today that the next-generation LS luxury sedan will make its official debut at the Detroit Auto Show in January. A fitting venue considering the original LS sedan made its debut there way back in 1989. Lexus didn't reveal much about the new flagship other than the teaser photo above. The company says that the LS will use a lengthened version of the LC 500 coupe's chassis, which should be a good thing if it also means Lexus can give the LS even a little bit of the emotion and character we found in the LC. Since the LS will share chassis design with the LC, it will probably share powertrains, too. This means it could get the both the LC 500's 471-horsepower 5.0-liter V8 coupled to a 10-speed auto, and the 354-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 hybrid unit with its 4-speed automatic from the LC 500h. As for styling, the LS will probably look like a toned-down version of the LF-FC concept. Lexus describes the car as having a "coupe-like silhouette." Spy shots of the big four-door seem to show a relatively conventional sedan body with a rakish windshield. We'll reserve final judgement for when we see the uncovered car. The 2017 North American International Auto Show will be a big one for Toyota. In addition to revealing this new Lexus flagship, the company will unveil the completely redesigned Camry. Based on the teaser shot released last week, this new Camry will likely be a significant departure from the conservative machine we know now. We'll be sure to bring you all the details on both models when they're released in January. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. At the YYC Calgary International Airport, travelers found that the usual accessible parking spots (referred to handicap or disability parking here in the U.S.) near the doors had been painted over, no longer saved for the people who need them. Instead, they were reserved for Lexus drivers as part of a marketing campaign. Understandably, the airport received a complaint after a family with access needs entered the short-parking area to find the Lexus logos painted where the accessible parking had been, as CBC News reports. The airport had sold the spaces to Lexus as a way to generate revenue as part of a marketing campaign. Even worse, YYC hadn't replaced the accessible spaces yet, though Calgary Airport Authority spokesperson Jody Moseley told CBC News the airport was in the process of moving them when it started to draw attention. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. The story ends well, however: The Calgary Airport Authority is converting the Lexus spaces back to accessible parking, and said in a statement of apology that the new accessible stalls meant to replace the original ones will also remain in place, so it's a net gain for disabled travelers. YYC also apologized to Lexus Canada, which it says "did not play a role in selecting, and was not aware of, the locations for the campaign." Lexus issued its own apology, saying it would "more carefully scrutinize the details of these types of marketing campaigns" in the future. When Lexus launched the fifth-generation LS at the end of 2017, the Japanese luxury maker predicted its once-brand-defining sedan would sell 12,000 units per year in the U.S., a threshold the model hadn't reached since 2010. The LS managed 9,301 transactions here in 2018, its first full year on sale, falling back to 5,528 units in 2019. Through the first three coronavirus-affected months of this year, Lexus dealers have sold 801 LS sedans, compared to 1,404 units in Q1 2019. There's a mid-cycle refresh supposedly due for release in the fall of 2021, and the June issue of Japanese magazine Mag-X (translated), via Lexus Enthusiast, claims we're due for a couple of big surprises that could jolt the sales figures. The first shock is that Lexus is supposedly bringing back the LS 600h moniker for an LS with a V8 hybrid powertrain. Lexus debuted the LS 600h L in 2007 for the 2008 model year, retiring the hybrid trim in 2016. Its heart was a 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V8, and when combined with an electric motor, combined output came to 439 horsepower and 385 pound-feet of torque. The fifth generation introduced the LS 500h that switched to a naturally aspirated 3.5-liter V6, producing a combined 354 hp and 369 lb-ft., taking second place in output to the twin-turbo V6 in the non-hybrid LS 500 with 416 hp and 442 lb-ft. If Lexus were to double back to a V8 after experimenting with a V6 hybrid for four years, some question which V8 would get the nod. The old V8, codenamed 2UR-FSE and still in use in the Lexus LC as the 2UR-GSE, dates back 14 years and is scheduled to retire in two years when the LC-F introduces Lexus' new twin-turbo V8. According to leaked dealer information, that's the same year Toyota and Lexus will stop offering V8 engines in any model with an MSRP under $90,000. Toyota has shied away from turbocharged hybrids, but the next-generation Tundra could change that if rumors of the 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 i-Force Max engine come true. A twin-turbo V8 LS hybrid would rocket the model back to the top of the range in performance and price, and we could see it breaking the "F" seal on the LS lineup, since it would run counter to everything the German competitors are doing with their standard flagship sedans. Or Lexus could remove the turbos for a better compromise of potency and frugality.
