As far as the condition, there is not much to say about this car, it is practically a new car. It smells new and looks new from inside out.

REASON FOR REBUILT TITLE
We bought this car front Insurance Company with very minor damage to the passenger side rear floor pan. Apparently this car ran over something and somehow nothing else was touched under the car except for a small section under the right rear floor pan.
Since it was a new car with only 4K miles, Insurance did not want to proceed with repairs and it was sent to the auction.
We have also posted ACTUAL AUCTION PHOTOS straight from Insurance auction website to show the actual condition of the car that it was sold under.
The damage was only to the bottom metal sheet; it was a very small section on the passenger rear side and was very easily fixed.
Frame or Drive train was untouched. There was absolutely no other damage except for what mentioned. We have also posted underneath photos to show the fixed section.

WHAT DOES REBUILT TITLE MEANS

Many people are not familiar with the Salvage or Rebuilt title, below is a brief explanation of the "Salvage verses Rebuilt Title" terminology:
Salvage title basically means that the insurance company decided not to fix the car and paid off the owner. By declaring a car "Total Loss”, Insurance Company is taking themselves out of any liability issues in the future. Does that means the car is totaled, not always.
Sometimes the car has minor damage but the parts are very expensive. Sometimes the owner does not want to get the vehicle repaired and depending on the Insurance Company and the year of the car, Insurance will pay off the owner.
If the car gets stolen then Insurance has thirty days to recover the vehicle, if the car is not recovered in thirty days, Insurance pays off the owner and once the car is recovered, it is brought to the auction as a Total Loss vehicle even if it did not have any damage on it.
We have bought 'Total Loss" cars from Insurance companies with door dings, extremely minor fender bender, theft recovered vehicles with absolutely no damage.
In brief Total Loss does not always mean that the car was in a bad wreck or had extensive damage. We do not buy or sell anything with major damage.

Now for Rebuilt title, once the repairs are completed, car is inspected by state for all repairs and a Rebuilt Title is issued, which means that the new owner will not have to get any inspection done to get the car back on the road.  It saves a lot of trouble for buyers as they don’t have to get the car inspected or fill out any extra paper work as is the case with Salvage title. With rebuilt title, buyer can simply walk into the DMV and get the car registered without any repair documents or inspection work.

Vehicle Transportation & Pickup

Shipping companies have insurance policies that protect buyers against damage.  If you choose to pickup the vehicle yourself, we can meet you at our local airport.  This service is free of charge. Payment Information

We require a $500 non-refundable deposit which must be paid within twenty-four (24) hours of winning the auction. NO EXCEPTIONS.  This deposit can be made through PayPal to Precisionautos@Yahoo.com.  In the alternative, you can make your deposit via Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or wire transfer.  If the deposit is not received within the required timeframe and alternative arrangements are not made, we reserve the right to make the vehicle available for sale to another buyer.  The remaining balance is due within five days of making the deposit .As final payment for the vehicle, we will accept a certified bank check, bank loan check or cash in person.  We will not release the title until funds clear.  If you pay cash, you can pickup the title and vehicle immediately.  If you pay by wire transfer the vehicle will be available for pickup once funds are available in our account.  If you pay by bank check, you will have to wait nine (7) business days until the funds clear.  If payment is made using a check we will hold all vehicles and titles for nine (7) days or until the funds clear. We require 2 days Notice for any Pickup.

Liquidated Damages

In the event that the winning bidder refuses to honor his/her obligation to purchase the vehicle, we shall be entitled to liquidate damages from that bidder in the amount of two thousand dollars plus two hundred dollars per one thousand dollars of the total purchase price of the vehicle.

Choice of Law & Forum

Buyer agrees that in the event any dispute shall arise, it will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas  and litigated in Dallas county.  By bidding on this auction buyer consents to service by certified mail.

Sales Tax & Other Fees

All Buyers in the State of Texas will be required to pay all the Taxes and fees in order for vehicle to be titled and registered. Registration and Transfer in State of Texas will be done by Precision Autos.
Temporary Tag (60 days) will be provided after the sale is completed. For any out of state buyers, we'll provide all the necessary paperwork in order to get the registration done such as work order, inspection or any affidavit.
There will be a $200 mandatory charge attached to all sales to cover the costs of a safety inspection, notary fees, administrative fees and a light detail.

Variety is the spice of life, but it's becoming a prerequisite for luxury carmakers in the ultra-competitive US market. The Detroit Auto Show was strong evidence of this reality. It's not enough to offer attractive and well-appointed cars and SUVs anymore. Luxury brands that want to be competitive need to invest in everything from high-powered supercars to clever hybrids. To be relevant, you need to be green and mean – and everything in between. As General Motors product chief Mark Reuss said after the reveal of the 640-horsepower Cadillac CTS-V: "We are not leaving anything on the table." He was speaking for Cadillac, but he might as well have been speaking for the luxury car market. The CTS-V debuted in Detroit about an hour after Lexus surprised showgoers with the reveal of the RC F GT3 race car and then announced ambitious plans to return to competitive racing. That almost overshadowed the fact Lexus had just revealed another potent addition to its growing F line, the 467-hp GS F. View 20 Photos But for luxury brands, it's not just about maximum horsepower for well-heeled enthusiasts or decadent amenities for the Grey Poupon set. Strong competition from all corners has forced automakers to refine and expand their lineups in ways unforeseen even a few years ago. Case in point: Mercedes-Benz finally has an answer to the BMW X6, rolling out the GLE coupe in Detroit. The X6, which blends coupe-like styling cues with some of the functionality of an SUV, debuted in 2008. Back then it was a punchline, but seven years and more than 260,000 sales later, the X6's success has compelled Benz to respond. Mercedes Â– one of the strongest proponents of diesel technology Â– also debuted the C350 plug-in hybrid sedan, which promises a range of 20 miles on electricity, though fuel economy figures were not announced. The car pairs Mercedes' well-received 208-hp turbocharged four-cylinder with an electric motor for total output of 275 hp and 443 pound-feet of torque. Meanwhile, Infiniti will add the Q30 hatchback to its lineup by the end of the year, new president Roland Kruger reiterated in Detroit. It's expected to be joined by a crossover variant, and the additions will help strengthen Infiniti in the United States and abroad. "While we're expanding our product line, we're also expanding our market reach," he said. That's something echoed by Jaguar executives, who are preparing to launch the brand's first crossover, the F-Pace, in 2016.

Anything but boring | 2018 Lexus LC 500 First Drive

This is it, the headliner, the main event. After years of Lexus promising to make less-boring cars and instead giving us countless spindle-grille facelifts, the 2018 LC 500 is here as the brand's new North Star. It's the official halo to mark where Toyota's luxury brand is headed. This is the car that we hope can bring an end to the relentless mentions of boring cars - which are themselves needlessly boring. And besides, "not boring" is a terrible metric for evaluation. What Lexus is really trying to do is give its cars some spirit, to transcend the paint-by-numbers stereotype that made this brand the luxury juggernaut it is today. By that yardstick, the LC 500 is a success simply based on how it looks. It's beautiful in a way that we couldn't predict from the 2012 LF-LC concept that foreshadowed it. The kind of beauty where instead of reflexively grabbing your phone to take a picture, you just stand there and keep looking. And pictures don't do this car justice, anyway. They soften the edges and reduce the massive draw of the wide shoulders. In person, looking straight at the LC, the car looks like it's 80 percent hood. In the rest of the lineup, the trademark Lexus grille's execution ranges from caricature (RC) to botched nose job (LX). Here it pulls everything together. From every other angle, the LC has some feature that seems excessive – in the best way possible. The proportions of the LC give off a distinctively functional vibe, and it's genuine. That hood is so long because the 5.0-liter V8's center of mass sits three and a half inches behind the front axle. The extra space up front is mostly empty - Lexus uses high-strength steel cross-braces to shore up torsional rigidity instead of adding structure ahead of the front wheels, and the battery sits under the trunk floor. For all the visual excitement, the LC is still a conventional vehicle. Aside from some advancements in the LC 500h's hybrid powertain, the innovation here is of the iterative type. It's interesting, in that Lexus is betting on emotional appeal and driving character at a time when the future relevance of both is up for debate. If anything, the LC is a car for the current automotive world, not the one to come. And despite extensive use of aluminum and sheet-molded carbon, the LC 500 weighs in at a hefty 4,280 pounds. That's right in line with the BMW 6 Series and a good deal below the Batali-esque Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe's 4,700 pounds.

Lexus LF-LC GT ready to hit Gran Turismo

Lexus might not have as rich a motorsport history as its parent company Toyota does, but it's not been without its racing activities – fielding the LFA in the VLN series at the Nurburgring and powering Daytona Prototypes in American endurance racing, but especially in Japan's own Super GT touring car series. That's where it recently rolled out the RC F GT500 is to replace the aging SC430, fighting for the championship last season right up to the bitter end. And this year it will bring a similar version of the RC F to GT3 racing as well. But before it does, the Japanese automaker has given us another racing machine to lust over Â– only this one is just for the virtual reality of Gran Turismo 6. Following the two teaser images that previewed its reveal, Polyphony Digital (the studio behind the Gran Turismo franchise) has revealed the new Lexus LF-LC GT. The latest in the Vision Gran Turismo series of virtual racers, the Lexus concept starts with the LF-LC show car revealed at the Detroit Auto Show back in 2012, but applies to it some of the same queues as the aforementioned RC F racer. The bodywork melds into extended aprons to keep the car glued to the digital track, there's a side-exit exhaust, carbon hood and roof, a giant rear wing, gargantuan diffuser and lightweight alloys on racing slicks. It's even got the rainbow-swirled white paint job of the RC F GT3 concept. Technical details weren't released, but then this concept wasn't designed to hit any real road or track any time in the near future, anyway. Related Video:
