Hello there! Up for sale is my beloved 2007 Lexus IS250 in Matador Red Mica. Drives like a dream, currently has less than 34,360 miles. Black leather interior, sportier RWD package. This IS250 has NEVER seen snow and has always been garaged for the Winter until well into Spring time under a makeshift cover, started once or twice a month during the Winter time. It has most of the premium options available for the RWD model besides navigation. The audio sounds great with 15 speakers built into the cabin. A two owner car, it was purchased from a family member in California back in 09’ with a low 15,500 miles, it has since been driven less than 5,000 miles a year. You honestly cannot tell this car has been driving in Ohio for the past 4 years. Please view the additional 70 picture gallery here - http://imgur.com/a/6NBdi Fresh oil change done only 900 miles ago. Last week a full ($750.00) service was performed - brake fluid, spark plugs, air filter wash, and more. The top end was cleaned of carbon build up as instructed by a Lexus technician. This included cleaning of the throttle body, intake valves, fuel rail, fuel injectors, fuel line, among other components. It has had most of the Toyota Service Bulletin (TSIB) such as a new AUX input for MP3 audio, low-dust brake pads, new fuel rail, and hooks and hold that floor mats in place. Runs strong and pulls great. I had a brand new A/C condenser put in ($1000.00) as well, blows ice cold. The hood, roof, and trunk have a fresh coat of paint and clearcoat ($1700.00) to fix dings and scratches. It looks great! This is all maintenance that you won’t have to do for some years to come, i've put in about $4k The car is completely stock, the only modifications present are the complete Lexus factory GFX ground effects kit which includes front lip, side skirts, rear lip, and larger exhaust tips. F-Sport Equipped badge is on the trunk, i have included the IS250 badging as well. The front grille was painted to match the car color because it looks way better. I replaced the H.I.D, high beam, and fog light bulbs with better aftermarket counterparts, road visibility is optimal. All tasteful and great looking additions to an already beautiful car. I always receive compliments. It was involved in one accident before my ownership and has a REBUILT title. The car was hit while parked and turned off, no airbags deployed, no frame damage whatsoever. It was an extremely light hit to the front, you can honestly be the judge for yourself - http://imgur.com/a/2YXbH. It was rebuilt at a reputable major body shop in Eastlake, OH and checked/serviced over at Classic Lexus in Willoughby, OH before passing a full complete and quite thorough inspection with the Ohio State Patrol. This is all extremely well documented, I have a folder with literally all inspection/rebuild receipts for every nut and bolt that was repaired or replaced. I’ve kept this all in mind as far as pricing goes. It is a genuine pleasure to drive and i have enjoyed every single minute of it. This car has been my baby for the past 4 years and i do not want to sell it but my priorities require more attention at the current moment and i have to part with her. I would hesitate for a second to drive it across the country and back. I am looking to sell it for $16,900.00 or YOUR BEST OFFER. No Low Ballers! No Trades! I have the title in my hands, ready to be registered to a new owner! I will respond to all reasonable and serious offers. Payment will be accepted only in CASH/WIRE/BANK DEPOSIT! You can contact me anytime between 10 AM - 10 PM with any and all questions that you may have! Thanks! I'm a serious and honest seller, if you're going to clown around with me, i will not be responding to you. Serious and honest buyers only please! The successful winner of this auction MUST contact me within 24 hours of auction end and we can make payment arrangements at that time. A $400 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is due within 24 hours of auction end which i get to keep if you fail to make the rest of the payment within 72 hours of auction end. I can take cash (in person) or bank transfer (wire transfer). You are required to handle and pay your own taxes within your state. There is no warranty on this vehicle of any sort. You are responsible for all pickup or shipping of this vehicle. If you wish to have it shipped, i’ve been through the process myself several times with DAS and am willing to help, if you'd like to fly in/drive to pick up the vehicle, i'd be happy to assist as well.

Lexus RC F is a predatory sport coupe with a 450-horsepower beating heart
Tue, 14 Jan 2014Take a look at that face. We can't be the only ones who see an automotive Predator staring back, right? Certainly, the Lexus RC F Coupe boasts a visually striking design that some are going to love and others are going to hate, but we can at least appreciate that it's aggressive, especially compared to the standard RC Coupe that we saw at the Tokyo Motor Show. And with good reason - there's a 5.0-liter V8 engine sitting under that massively domed hood with "more than 450 horsepower," along with a newly calibrated eight-speed automatic gearbox.
Interestingly, Lexus has tuned the RC F's engine to run on an Atkinson cycle under most circumstances, while it switches to the more typical Otto cycle when more power is required, presumably using some sort of advanced variable valve timing technology. Helping put that power to the ground with all those ponies wreaking havoc underhood is a torque vectoring differential, a first from Lexus.
Also involved in keeping the RC F planted is an aero package that includes wings and ducts galore. The headline bit is an active rear wing that deploys at 50 miles per hour and retracts back into the deck when the car drops back to 25 mph. A clear-coated carbon fiber roof can optionally join that carbon rear wing. There are apparently going to be three 19-inch wheel options, including the ones you see in our live image gallery above.
2015 Lexus RC F Review
Wed, Aug 26 2015Every year, thousands of people buy two-door coupes that bear the badges of BMW M, Mercedes-AMG, Audi RS, and Cadillac V. These cars are powerful, fast, agile, and - if you believe the marketing - are made to kick ass on the track. But, and this is just my theory, only about 0.2 percent of these owners actually drive their cars the way the companies intended. Most buyers, I think, want the image put forth by an M4 or C63 AMG more than any dynamic abilities. These people just want to give the impression that they're out tearing up the local road course, and a $70,000 sports coupe and a pair of Pilotis are just the ticket. Which is not to say they don't use the performance of these cars, just not the full track-day capabilities. If this describes you, I recommend checking out the new Lexus RC F. This coupe is powered by a 5.0-liter V8, complete with 467 horsepower and 389 pound-feet of torque. These figures, while impressive in a vacuum, are troubling when viewed alongside the competition. The Mercedes-AMG C63 tops 500 in horsepower and torque in S guise, while the six-pot Cadillac ATS-V is nearly equal on power but offers almost 60 more pound-feet of torque. And while the BMW M4 cedes more than 40 horsepower to the Lexus, the RC F doesn't feel as potent from the driver's seat. The RC F doesn't even feel as potent as less-powerful competition. This numerical deficit translates to the stopwatch, where the RC F lags behind the force-induced competition. The C63 and ATS-V both hit 60 in 3.9 seconds, while the BMW takes 4.1 seconds (these are all manufacturer estimates, by the way). The RC F needs 4.4 seconds to hit 60 miles per hour. The only vehicle in this segment that's slower is the Audi RS 5, and that's been on sale longer than all its current competitors combined. And the Audi's charms (oh, that glorious engine note) help you overlook its lack of pace. The RC F doesn't have the aging Audi's charisma, making its lack of both perceived and actual pace more glaring. I'm placing blame on this car's overbearing induction sound. It was a neat trick on the original IS F – this car's predecessor – but over the years it's just become kind of played out. At the least the noise is real, piped into the cabin via a resonator, but it sounds too artificial. And the point at which it kicks in is entirely predictable. Neither of these traits contribute to an involving driving experience.
