bearings, timing chain and gears, valve covers, rocker arms/shafts and
bushing, valves, valve springs, seats and guides, valve push rods,
hydraulic valve lifters, oil pump, oil pan and fuel pump. Seals and
gaskets, with the exception of cylinder head gaskets and intake
manifold gaskets are covered only in conjunction with the covered
repair. Cylinder head and manifold gaskets are covered for coolant
leaks only. Coverage limited to above parts.
Transmission
Automatic or Manual Transmission. All internally lubricated parts,
including clutches, bands, pump, pump housing, carrier assembly,
planetary gears, drums, reaction shaft, governor, valve body, servo

Drive Axle Assembly

bearings, ring and pinion, gears, spider gears and case, thrust
washers and spacers, housing only when damaged by an internally
lubricated part covered by the contract. Drive shaft, universal
joints, and front constant velocity joints on front wheel drive

Seals & Gaskets
All
seals and gaskets are covered when required in conjunction with the
replacement of a covered component. Head gaskets and intake manifold

component has failed, towing is covered to the nearest qualified
repair center, up to a maximum of fifty dollars ($50).
24-Hour Roadside Assistance
When
towing is necessary, the member's disabled vehicle will be towed to
any location requested by the member.
Roadside assistance also included for: battery service/jump start,
flat tire, fuel, oil, and water delivery, and lockout assistance.
Coverage is provided up to $50 per occurrence to the covered vehicle
only.

Out-of-state buyers are responsible for inventory tax and a
documentation fee ($125). Inventory tax is calculated at .002659% of
the sales price.

with the remaining balance paid within 3 days unless other

Automobile Magazine scribe Jason Cammisa was sent into the desert to referee four carbon-fiber-bodied wild animals fighting it out over the quarter mile: the V8 McLaren MP4-12C, the V10 Lexus LFA, the V12 Lamborghini Aventador and the W16 Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport. It's a tough job, innit? The Head 2 Head race was run elimination style, with the winner of each two-up challenge facing the next devil up the totem pole. Variety is the spice of life, but it's becoming a prerequisite for luxury carmakers in the ultra-competitive US market. The Detroit Auto Show was strong evidence of this reality. It's not enough to offer attractive and well-appointed cars and SUVs anymore. Luxury brands that want to be competitive need to invest in everything from high-powered supercars to clever hybrids. To be relevant, you need to be green and mean – and everything in between. As General Motors product chief Mark Reuss said after the reveal of the 640-horsepower Cadillac CTS-V: "We are not leaving anything on the table." He was speaking for Cadillac, but he might as well have been speaking for the luxury car market. The CTS-V debuted in Detroit about an hour after Lexus surprised showgoers with the reveal of the RC F GT3 race car and then announced ambitious plans to return to competitive racing. That almost overshadowed the fact Lexus had just revealed another potent addition to its growing F line, the 467-hp GS F. View 20 Photos But for luxury brands, it's not just about maximum horsepower for well-heeled enthusiasts or decadent amenities for the Grey Poupon set. Strong competition from all corners has forced automakers to refine and expand their lineups in ways unforeseen even a few years ago. Case in point: Mercedes-Benz finally has an answer to the BMW X6, rolling out the GLE coupe in Detroit. The X6, which blends coupe-like styling cues with some of the functionality of an SUV, debuted in 2008. Back then it was a punchline, but seven years and more than 260,000 sales later, the X6's success has compelled Benz to respond. Mercedes – one of the strongest proponents of diesel technology – also debuted the C350 plug-in hybrid sedan, which promises a range of 20 miles on electricity, though fuel economy figures were not announced. The car pairs Mercedes' well-received 208-hp turbocharged four-cylinder with an electric motor for total output of 275 hp and 443 pound-feet of torque. Meanwhile, Infiniti will add the Q30 hatchback to its lineup by the end of the year, new president Roland Kruger reiterated in Detroit. It's expected to be joined by a crossover variant, and the additions will help strengthen Infiniti in the United States and abroad. "While we're expanding our product line, we're also expanding our market reach," he said. That's something echoed by Jaguar executives, who are preparing to launch the brand's first crossover, the F-Pace, in 2016.
Think the only challengers for the title of best-selling luxury brand hail from der Vaterland? Wrong. Lexus outsold the likes of Mercedes-Benz for the second time in 2014 last month. In fact, the Japanese luxury marque's total sales this year are a mere 12,000 units behind BMW. Lexus was able to move 26,921 vehicles last month, a year-over-year increase of 21.1 percent, respectively. Mercedes, meanwhile, was just barely beaten, moving 26,617 units in April. The difference, though, is that Lexus has made far bigger year-over-year gains than Mercedes, which recorded a YOY increase of just 4.13 percent. This is particularly troubling for the Germans, as it marks a return to form for Lexus that we haven't seen since before the March 2011 earthquake and tsunami that decimated Japan. Prior to that natural disaster, Lexus enjoyed nearly a dozen years at the top of the luxury heap.
