This is an absolutely mint 2004 GX 470 in silver with gray leather interior. The original paint is in excellent condition with ALL VIN# on all body panels. The owners were non-smokers and the leather interior is excellent with carpet showing as new. The Michelin latitude tires are close to 70% and all evenly worn. This vehicle has navigation, Mark Levinson Premium sound system, back-up camera, heated seats, and tow prep. package. Everything is working well and it drives as new.
This vehicle has an extensive service history since new with the 60k and 90k service being completed, as well as the timing belt completed 3/18/13 at 89,909 miles. It was just recently completed and serviced at the Lexus dealership. This vehicle has always been serviced at the Lexus dealer and on time.
The mileage on the vehicle is actual with the service history coinciding on CarFax, however, in 2009 when the owners moved and titled the vehicle in a new state they did not know the actual mileage at the time of registering and marked the box "NOT ACTUAL MILEAGE", due to the vehicle not being there when registering. This is a common mistake that happens a lot Unfortunately when this happens the title gets branded until a correction is made. This happened in the state of Minnesota and the vehicle was traded in in Arizona, as the owners have a home there. To correct this the vehicle would need to be re-inspected there as well as forms needed to filled out. It can be done if needed. The CarFax and AutoCheck both show consistent mileage with the vehicles registration and service with no differences, however, they do state in 2009 the vehicle was registered with Not Actual Mileage.
The vehicle is being sold with actual mileage on the vehicle with a clean, lien free title in hand that is branded "Not Actual Mileage". This is an opportunity to own one of the nicest 2004 GX470 around that has an perfect service history, drives as new for a fraction of retail.
Both CarFax and AutoCheck are available upon request.
THIS IS GOING TO BE A 3 DAY AUCTION ONLY, AS THE VEHICLE IS SCHEDULED TO GO TO A DEALER ONLY AUTO AUCTION. YOU CAN BUY IT FOR WHAT ANOTHER DEALER WILL BE PAYING FOR IT.
It is a very nice GX470, I have owned several and know them well.

Is your new-car warranty good at the race track?
Mon, Feb 27 2017We've all heard the horror stories. Your buddy knows a girl that was dating a guy whose best friend's brother once broke his brand-new, recently purchased performance car while making runs at a drag strip or laps at a track day, and the manufacturer wouldn't cover the repair under warranty. True story? Urban legend? Complete crap? Yes, no, maybe. One thing's for sure: Automotive warranties have always come with caveats. In 1908, an ad in the Trenton Evening Times clearly stated: "All Ford Cars Guaranteed for One Year." Although it changed over time, by 1925 the Ford New Car Guarantee only covered 90 days on material and 30 days on labor, and it clearly stated that that there was "No guarantee whatever on Fan Belts, Glass, Bulbs, Wiring, Transmission, Bands, Hose Connections, Commutator Shells, Rollers, Spark Plugs or Gaskets." Whether or not Ol' Henry would pay to fix your Model T if you broke it shaving a tenth off your lap time at the local board track seems to be lost to history. We're guessing no. But what about today? Do new-car warranties in 2017 cover cars when they are driven on race tracks? We researched the warranties of 14 auto brands to find out, and the answer is yes, no, maybe, depending on the brand, in some cases the model, and whether or not your car is modified from stock. Acura has been out of the high-performance car game for a number of years, but jumps back into the party in 2017 with its hybrid-powered $173,000 NSX supercar. And Acura's warranty, as well as Honda's, clearly states that it does not cover "the use of the vehicle in competition or racing events." View 33 Photos So we asked Sage Marie, Senior Manager of Public Relations for Honda and Acura. "If the car is stock, the warranty covers it on a track just as it does on the street. No question," he told us. "However, if the car is modified, say with slick tires or other components that would put higher stresses on the vehicle's parts and systems, then we would have to investigate the circumstances further." Marie went on to say the same would be true for any Acura model or Honda vehicle, including the new 2017 Honda Civic Si. This became a common theme. Chevrolet actually started this practice with the fifth-generation Camaro on the high-performance ZL1 and Z/28 models.
Lexus IS, new and old, and LFA to make splash at SEMA
Mon, 04 Nov 2013Lexus has announced its Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show cars: a group of eight Lexus IS sedans spanning all three generations, and a 2012 LFA supercar. One of the show cars, a custom 2014 Lexus IS 350 F Sport, is a creation penned by IS fan Rob Evans, the winner of a contest to design a Lexus SEMA show car.
The standouts in the group of Lexus IS show cars, in no particular order, are a 700-horsepower 2014 Lexus IS 340 (it has a heavily modified Toyota Supra inline six swapped in, which is stroked out to 3.4 liters, hence the nomenclature change) by Philip Case and a supercharged 2004 Lexus IS 300 by Maricar Cortez. Both cars prove that oldies can be goodies - the venerable Supra 2JZTE engine, which ceased production over a decade ago, lives on in a 2014 platform, and the 2004 IS 300 gets a supercharger and remains relevant through the use of electronics, such as a back-up radar sensor, upgraded headlights and more.
Of course, the LFA by Guy S. De Alwis will be a stand out on its own, but unfortunately Lexus only provided us with a couple pictures that don't do it justice. We'll have to take a closer look at it on the show floor. Same goes for the IS penned by contest-winner Rob Evans, of which only a rendering was provided.
Fast & Furious' Paul Walker checks out Lexus LFA with 30,000 miles
Wed, 29 May 2013For most vehicles, eclipsing the 30,000-mile mark isn't much to celebrate. With modern vehicles fully capable of sailing right past the 250,000-mile line with just basic, regular maintenance, the wee 30k is as common as coffee.
But that's not the case for supercars like the Lexus LFA. The limited-production machines are more likely to be museum pieces than commuter cars. That's what makes the fact that Lexus has not one, but two LFA models with over 30,000 miles on the clock so special. Paul Walker recently met the dynamic duo out at Willow Springs Raceway.
Walker seems impressed with the two supercars after hammering around the Streets course, saying the ultra rare, high-mileage LFA examples feel as quick and sturdy as they did when the left the factory. Lexus says the cars have both only received their equal shares of regular maintenance. Catch the video of both cars on track below along with a few words from Walker.
