I am selling my 2004 Lexus GX470. I am the second owner and it has been well taken care of and dealer maintained. I have receipts for dealer service. Timing belt was changed at 90,000 and new tires put on at 113,000 with plenty of tread left. The navigation for the vehicle has been updated and includes a backup camera, Bluetooth, video, and multi disc capabilities. No accidents or problems. I am happy to guarantee that this vehicle (in writing) does not have any flood damage and has never been in any flood for 100% of your money back. 2014 Lexus IS 250 AWD F Sport
Fri, 08 Nov 2013"Ooh, this looks fun!" my otherwise car-ignorant friend said as we walked up to the 2014 Lexus IS 250 F Sport. And yeah, it does look fun. In fact, despite my initial strong negative reaction to the design, I've really warmed up to this new IS, especially with the flashier F Sport package found on this test car (unique front fascia, 18-inch dark alloy wheels and appropriate badging). Even though that rear end still looks a bit Droopy Dog to me (stop frowning, Lexus), the IS is sharp, though I'm not entirely sure that such a bold design will age well.
"Looks can be deceiving," I told my friend, and we hit the road... slowly. You see, despite looking like a fresh, modern sport sedan, the IS 250 still uses what is, quite frankly, a dog of an engine. And that, combined with dynamics that are just so-so at best, makes for a sedan that's all show and no go. Say hello to Jennifer Slowpez.

Lexus LFA owner gets town to remove speed bump
Fri, 17 May 2013What do you do if you have enough money to buy a Lexus LFA but can't get the car safely to your house? Get local government involved, of course. Rune Berge Vik, of Stavanger, Norway, did just that after he bought a Lexus LFA (the only LFA in the Nordic region according to tv2.no) last year only to find out that it could not clear a speed bump in his neighborhood.
To remedy the situation, Vik got in touch with his city, which had the speed bump removed. Talk about your tax dollars hard at work. On the other hand, it's commendable that the man actually uses his supercar as a daily driver, and besides, doesn't a street-legal car have the right to access said public streets?
