2002 Lexus Es300-1-owner--fla-kept-lowest Mileage In The Usa-'lil Old Lady Owned on 2040-cars
Jacksonville, Florida, United States
|
Welcome to a great opportunity. Have you ever heard of that 1-owner, very low mileage, Florida-kept automobile that was owned and driven by a little old lady, probably only to and from church on Sunday? Well, we're not sure about the religious nature of her trips, but this is that car! Simply put, this 2002 Lexus ES300 runs and drives like new. It was purchased at Lexus of Kendall (a suburb of Miami) and was serviced by the professionals at the Lexus dealership. No squeaks, rattles, noises, or smells, just an ultra-luxurious and ultra-smooth ride that only a Lexus can provide. There is a reason that Lexus is considered by many automotive experts as the best riding luxury brand of any of the premium automobile makers in the world. And with only 47,000 original, sunny South Florida miles, this ES300 is just getting broken in. It is not uncommon to see this extremely durable engine and transmission combination reach 200,000 miles + of trouble-free performance. It has recently had its 50,000 mile service performed and has a fresh oil change, new air filter and wipers, and interior cabin filters as well as cooling system service and flush. The air conditioning is ice cold, and for those of you in non-tropical climates, the heater works great. The rich, elegant leather and wood trimmed interior is in outstanding condition, and it certainly shows! Grandma didn't have any dogs or pets in the car, and she certainly didn't smoke cigarettes. The dark cherry accents really showcase the ultra-luxurious Ivory leather very nicely, and the rear seats do not even appear to have ever been used. It is clean and fresh. Neither the ashtray, nor the cigarette lighter have ever been used. This one-owner Lexus was owned by a senior, and she did her best to have it regularly serviced and cleaned. We are selling this low mileage Lexus in exactly the condition that we took it in. All we had our detailer do is clean it. It runs and drives phenomenal, and the interior is extra-clean. The exterior presents a wonderful and beautiful finish. Being a Florida vehicle has HUGE benefits--(i.e. no harsh weather, no harsh roads, no hills or potholes and certainly no snow or salt), sometimes the summer sun can fade paint. On this Lexus you can literally eat off of the undercarriage as well as the engine compartment. Both are as close to new as you can find. You will not see that on a northern, or Midwest vehicle. And then once the corrosion sets in on a vehicle from other parts of the country, things will begin to rust. Things that you can see, and unfortunately, things that you cannot see. Not the case here. This car is as clean as a whistle! So the finish is brilliant and the color is outstanding. Lexus calls it Crystal White. It is a three-stage paint from the factory and was a $995 option from the dealer. Not your typical plain-Jane, boring White color. It looks great, and during the day, the sunlight really makes this White color dance. Of course, no dents, dings or unsightly parking lot mishaps. None of that, Grandma wouldn't stand for it. The factory aluminum alloy wheels have a complete set of Premium all-season performance radials all the way around. They have a lot of meat on them (conservatively 80% treadlife remaining), to safely grip the road...in any driving condition. Wet, Dry...and even Snow! The rims look like new as well, with no curb rash or chips that you sometimes see. There was no skimping of the service on this Lexus at all by the previous gal! This Lexus is fully loaded. It has complete power options as well as dual power front seats, factory power glass moonroof, express touch windows, Premium Audio System with 6-disc CD changer and 8 surround sound speakers, factory security system, solar ray factory tinted glass, independent electronic climate control and so much more. Everything works perfectly and properly, just as you would expect from a low mileage, well-maintained automobile. This car is a creampuff! The latest February 2014 NADA Used Car Guide shows the retail value of this 2002 Lexus ES300 to be over $11,282 and certainly much more at your friendly neighborhood Lexus dealership or local high-image Import Auto Boutique. Clean Trade-in value is $9,187.... This is a unique color and has a one-owner and Florida-kept pedigree. Please feel free to call or e-mail me with any questions that you may have. I am including all the original books, manuals and supplements that came with this car when new. This ES300 drives and runs outstanding, it gets excellent fuel economy and is very roomy. Plenty of room in the trunk for golf clubs or multiple suitcases, and the interior provides comfortable seating for 5 adults. This is a sensational car to take on a long road trip. With only 47,551 original miles, this Lexus was used sparingly. That's less than 4,00 miles per year folks! And again, very easy miles by an older owner, and pleasant Florida roads. Don't make the mistake of missing out on this rare find. We are running this auction for 7 days with No Reserve. One lucky and savvy bidder will be getting a great vehicle. Please call or e-mail Steve at 561.283.9511 with any questions, or if you would like to make an appointment to see the car and take a test drive. We offer transportation assistance within the Continental US, and of course, free airport pick-up is available from Jacksonville International. We charge a nominal $299 dealer fee to each purchase. Good Luck to everyone bidding on this classy, one-owner, low mileage Lexus ES300. Most likely the lowest mileage example in the country. Don't miss out on this fine car. Bid with confidence and Bid to win! |

Lexus LF-LC approved for production
Thu, 28 Mar 2013On the sidelines of a press drive for the 2014 Lexus IS, the company's vice president of marketing in the US told Ward's Auto that the honchos in Japan have approved the Lexus LF-LC concept for production. He wouldn't offer any other details on how the luxury coupe might be transformed into a vehicle for the buying masses, and that has led to a bag full of speculation.
The show car was hybrid-powered and rear-wheel drive, a beautifully executed stab by Toyota designers in Newport Beach at redefining Lexus, but even with the concept, the point was to keep it "within reach for premium buyers." The report says the odds are on limited production and higher pricing than Lexus' "mainstream products," and other sites have speculated on what kind of powertrain it might end up in showrooms with.
GT Channel posits that the LF-LC will be the inspiration for a coupe in the Lexus LS price bracket with a choice of either the 4.2-liter V8 or the hybrid powertrain from the LS 600h, further speculating it will be called LC 550 and cost more than $100,000. It then says that there would be another coupe created beneath that one to replace the SC 430. Lexus Enthusiast, however, calls those "warmed-over rumors" and says that the marque probably won't deviate from its engine-capacity-naming scheme - labeling a car with a 4.2-liter V8 an LC 550. Nor does it think Lexus will use the letters LC after the company has trademarked "RC" in the US and Australia.
Lexus RX450h+ mysterious patent filing hints at plug-in hybrid
Wed, Oct 7 2020Lexus entered the hybrid segment before a vast majority of its rivals, but it has timidly stayed away from the plug-in hybrid arena. Trademark documents filed in Europe suggest that's going to change sooner rather than later. Toyota's luxury division asked the European Union Intellectual Property Office to protect the RX450h+ nameplate, and it was granted the trademark in October 2020. It noted the name will be used on "automobiles and structural parts thereof," meaning it's likely going to be a nameplate. It's a familiar one, but the plus makes a big difference. Lexus already sells a car named RX450h; it's a hybrid version of the fourth-generation RX crossover, which is its best-selling model by a significant margin. Unverified reports claim the plus after the h will denote a plug-in hybrid model that will be powered by an evolution of the gasoline-electric powertrain found in the Toyota RAV4 Prime. It will put at least 300 horsepower under the driver's right foot, and it should be capable of driving on electricity alone for approximately 40 miles, a figure which will put it near the top of its class. It'll be reasonably quick, too. Rumors are a dime a dozen in the automotive industry, and a trademark filing should never be mistaken for a promise to release the model it details, but this report is more credible than most. Lexus has previously confirmed it will release its first plug-in hybrid model in the early 2020s after shunning the technology for years, and putting the powertrain in the RX makes sense. It sells well (about 111,000 units found a home in the United States in 2019), and it's a relatively big model so it's reasonably easy to equip with a battery pack. It's worth mentioning that the smaller NX should receive the same powertrain and a similar name in the not-too-distant future, too. Lexus hasn't commented on the trademark filing, and it hasn't publicly announced plans to release a plug-in hybrid variant of the RX (pictured) or of the NX. If the report is accurate, the crossover will likely make its public debut in the coming months. Whether it will be sold in the United States remains to be seen, however. Related Video:
Why the Lexus GS death rumors aren't surprising
Wed, May 3 2017For months, rumors have persisted that the Lexus GS is dying, to be replaced in the lineup by the ever-growing ES. After spending some time with one, we can't really figure out why it hasn't happened sooner. For a long time, the smaller, less expensive, more efficient front-wheel-drive Lexus ES has been growing in size and dominating the rear-wheel-drive GS in sales. As customers move from sedans into crossovers, Lexus' five-car lineup of the CT, IS, ES, GS, and LS is looking a bit too crowded. We shouldn't lament the loss of another rear-wheel-drive sedan. Lexus customers sure as hell haven't. There are better options available. Outside of the GS F, the Lexus GS isn't a car that encourages you to drive in a way that would take advantage of a rear-wheel setup. In the rain and the snow, the front-wheel drive ES is likely to be a more stable and sure-footed car. If you want power, the less expensive ES 350 actually has a more powerful engine than the base GS 200t. It's nearly a second quicker to 60 mph as well. Stepping up to a GS 350 puts a nearly $12,000 divide between the ES and the GS. Yes, you can get the GS with all-wheel drive, but how many people well and truly need it? Size-wise, the ES is nearly identical to the GS, with the ES being longer but narrower by just over an inch in either direction. Being front-wheel drive, the ES has better rear packaging, meaning a roomier rear seat. The GS does beat the ES on cargo capacity, but on nearly every other measurement the ES is roughly identical or better. Another editor noticed the exact same thing when the current ES debuted nearly four years ago. That goes for pre- and post-refresh models. The ES isn't quite as handsome as the GS (as long as you ignore the spindle situation up front). From some angles, the ES looks like nothing more than the tarted up Toyota Avalon it is. From behind the wheel, the GS fails to convey any sense of excitement or occasion. It's simply a shoulder shrug of a car. When competition like the BMW 5 Series or Mercedes-Benz E-Class offer both refinement and a decent infusion of fun, it's hard to make a case for the Lexus. The ES isn't any better, but with a base price of $39,895 it's a far more reasonable proposition than a $47,305 GS. Our test car was starting to show its age, as the competition has long sailed by when it comes to noise, vibration, and harshness. Lexus quiet this GS 200t was not. All that said, it seems that customers have already spoken.
