Truck new was $53,000    I bought it for $22,000 10 yrs, ago or so. It was perfect then with new Oldsmobile motor. My ex had it and I just got it back. He only put 25K or so on it but used it as a truck.  The 4x4 is fine , the motor is fine,  etc  but it has the wear and tear of a  20 yr. old truck. Than being said, it is the classic LWB County in the rare Roman Bronze and restored can bring $15,000.  I'd prefer to sell it to a RR enthusiast who understands Rovers.

The tires on the front are shot, the rears were new, but they are shot from sitting. It must have four new tires or I would tow it. They look a lot better than they are in the pictures.

The body is ok with the bits of rust I have pictured. The roof should be repainted, There is some clear coat off the hood. It is a "20 footer" as they say, still very nice looking from 20ft.

I just drove it around and recall how much I love it. There is just nothing like driving them  but I cannot afford a second vehicle and can't put $400-$500 worth of new tires on it. I'm on SS and no longer have cars for fun, just transportation.

I'm sure it's fine with the new motor and all. So here's your oppotunity to get a Classic LWB of which they only made 5000 and the Roman Bronze is rare and pretty.

The pictures are flattering, but it is not a beat up rust bucket either.

Normal wear and tear on seats, fuse cover missing, shift knob there but needs to be replaced..

Please ask questions and Ill do my best to answer them.

Jaguar Land Rover may build factory in Saudi Arabia

Tue, 11 Dec 2012

The Middle East is one of the fastest-growing markets for Land Rover, so it makes sense that the automaker is looking to set up shop in the region. According to Automotive News, Jaguar Land Rover is in talks with the people of Saudi Arabia to build a factory in the country at an expected initial cost of $1.2 billion. Still in the early stage of talks, the proposed facility could start up by 2017 using locally sourced materials such as steel and aluminum.
Such an arrangement could be beneficial for both entities as Saudi Arabia looks to diversify its oil-reliant economy and Land Rover could get local production capacity of around 50,000 units. The report also says that the agreement talks about the possibility for Jaguar models to be built at the same plant further down the road.
This won't be the first vehicle produced in Saudi Arabia - that honor goes to the KSU Gazal-1 - but it will be the first from a major global automaker.

Is Jaguar's 3 Series-fighter the brand's last chance?

Wed, 16 Oct 2013

The upcoming line of compact 3 Series-fighters from Jaguar, often referred to as the Jaguar XS, could consist of a sedan, wagon and possibly a coupe and GT model (think BMW 5 Series GT). The car's all-aluminum architecture also will provide the basis for two new sports utility vehicles. Just how important is the much-touted "baby Jag" project to parent company Jaguar Land Rover? A JLR executive reportedly says the brand's survival is directly linked to the success of the XS, codenamed X760, Autocar reports.
The brand's survival is directly linked to the success of the XS.
"If the X760 fails, it will probably be the end for the [Jaguar] brand," the executive says. But Adrian Hallmark, Jaguar's global brand director, claims Jaguar will "build the most advanced, most efficient, most refined car in that [compact luxury sedan] segment. Not almost as good as, but better than the best in the world."

Jaguar Land Rover creates new Special Operations division for halo vehicles, bespoke commissions

Fri, 13 Jun 2014

Jaguar Land Rover has announced that a new division of the British manufacturer will be dedicated to "bespoke commissions," as well as heritage products and apparel. Oh, and the new Special Operations division will also be behind JLR's halo cars from now on.
It's that last one that is the most tantalizing, as the last real halo product to see production from Jaguar was the XJ220. The Range Rover, meanwhile, has always had its own kind of halo reputation, although the Land Rover brand itself has never really gotten into the game with a dedicated model.
According to JLR, the new halo models will focus on ultra-high performance and luxury with a limited run of vehicles. The bespoke models, meanwhile, will give the wealthiest customers full sway over how vehicles are outfitted, with unique paints, trims and other accessories. The new SpecOps division will be run by John Edwards.
