Selling a 2011 Range Rover Autobiography. Valloire white on Ivory with Jet carpeting.

This car is in fantastic condition and needs nothing. The Autobiography’s come standard with all of the options fitted to a
supercharged as well as a few more standard. This particular car has everything that could have been optioned on
it, even a unique white pearl paint that is exclusive to an Autobiography. I’ll try to list
additional options below.

Autobiography is the ultimate expression of Range Rover craftsmanship and exclusivity. Enveloping driver and
passengers in the finest leathers, Autobiography is the definitive demonstration of Range Rover’s unique brand of
luxury.

Complementing the semi-aniline leather seats is full leather covering for the fascia, glove box lids, around the
center vents, door casings and behind the steering wheel. Even the driver’s knee airbag panel is full leather.

Premium carpet mats with high twist pile and aluminum corner protectors are standard Autobiography fare. A full
leather headliner enfolds vehicle occupants in unparalleled opulence.
As a special personal touch, Autobiography leather is examined and fitted by hand.

510bhp, the Range Rover Supercharged engine

12-inch TFT-LCD virtual instrument panel uses the same technology found in premium laptop computer displays.

Sand Launch Control minimizes wheel spin when moving from a standstill. Once the vehicle reaches an appropriate
speed, slip thresholds are increased to maintain progress.

Gradient Release Control (GRC) during Hill Descent Control (HDC) operation is designed to apply varied brake and
accelerator pressure to help achieve acceleration gradually and more smoothly.

Options:

Valloire White Pearl - $14,500 color option only available to Autobiography

Blind Spot Monitoring System - ability to warn of vehicles that the driver may not see.
A bright amber warning icon is illuminated in the appropriate door mirror when a hazard is detected.

Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) - uses radar to scan the road ahead, providing early identification of vehicles
moving into your path. This advanced system includes progressive deceleration, and it resets accurately. It is also
adept at identifying smaller vehicles on the road, such as motorcycles riding alongside large trucks.

Forward Alert and Emergency Brake Assist (EBA) - Forward Alert is designed to give audible and visual alerts when
approaching a vehicle rapidly and primes the breaking system. Should an impact become inevitable, the system
triggers EBA, ‘priming’ the vehicle braking system.

Everything in the luxury package

Heated/Ventilated driver and passenger seats

Heated steering wheel

4 Zone Climate control

Solar attenuating glass - windshield and driver/passenger front windows filter out heat/radiation (does greatly
improve cabin temperatures on hot days)

Power Reclining Rear Seats (also heated and ventilated) - still have the ability to fold down

Rear Screen Entertainment System - Includes a touch-screen remote control and wireless headphones (Never used,
still in OEM wrapper)

9-speaker 1,200-Watt harman/kardon® LOGIC7® surround-sound system

Adaptive Dynamics - Adaptive Dynamics works by predicting vehicle response to driver input, monitoring contact with
the road surface up to 500 times a second. This allows the system to help mitigate any excessive movement, as
opposed to a conventional system that reacts after the vehicle has already moved. From extremely rough surfaces to
the smoothest highway, Adaptive Dynamics delivers significant off-road and on-road benefits.

High Beam Assist for the headlamps detects oncoming or followed vehicles, and switches between high- and low-beam
illumination

New Rubber floor mats and trunk mat. (Installed in Feb.) I also have the original leather trimmed high-pile mats
(in excellent condition)

Land Rover Roof Transport System

Land Rover Running Boards

3M protective clear-bra on the front bumper, lower front trim, and headlights.

Door handles color-matched to the car (will not fade like the factory plastic finish)

Built-in K40 RL360 radar detector - Forward and Rear radar/laser protection and remote.

I’m sure there’s a lot I left out but those are the major highlights.

Oil change; front rotors/pads (oem) replaced; engine air filter replaced, replaced lower control arms, replaced
left and right rear outer trim, new wiper blades.

New tires installed at 50,540

Ceramic brake pads installed at 50,945

New Battery installed on 02/09/2016

10 most memorable cars and SUVs of 2019

Tue, Dec 24 2019

It's no surprise that a car reviewer will drive a large number of cars over the course of a year. Indeed, when the clock strikes midnight on Dec 31, I will have driven 75 new cars, trucks and SUV this year (and one old Peugeot) over the course of weekly evaluation loans and first drive events. That sure seems like a lot. Some definitely got more attention than others, and some came and went without leaving much of an impression – I completely forgot I drove a Kia Forte. Yet in the spirit of this day, I thought I'd pick the 10 that I would love to see under the Christmas tree tomorrow morning. You know, just in case you were looking to get me something. I'll also throw in a couple disappointments that were memorable for the wrong reasons. They'd get sent back to the store on Boxing Day. Lexus LC 500 Pictured below and resplendent in its Flare Yellow metallic paint, the car that would reach highest on my list is the divine Lexus LC 500. As a devout lover of GT cars, the LC ticks all the boxes. Muscular and characterful engine? V8, check. Beautifully made and memorable interior? It's gorgeous, to hell with Remote Touch. Check. Comfortable and reasonably practical? Superb seats and, uh, yeah. Makes me want to stand there and stare at it? You bet. Though I long figured my heart would say LC but my head "Porsche 911," after this go-around, that's no longer the case. LC, pretty please. 2020-lexus-lc500-f34-2 View 19 Photos Polestar 1 I actually feel lucky that I got to drive the Polestar 1. Only 150 will be produced each year, and it's a far more special thing than it would initially appear. And that's despite initially appearing to be a beautiful, classic two-door GT car with a roof so rakish it's only possible because it's made of carbon fiber. That itÂ’s a massively powerful plug-in hybrid with more all-electric range than any other PHEV is a thick dollop of whipped cream on a slice of Toscakaka. You know, Swedish dessert, Swedish car. Fine, I'll stick to Ikea references.  Polestar1_Launch_SanFrancisco-0014 View 44 Photos Volvo V60 Cross Country Speaking of Sweden, did I drive this car off the road there? Sure did! And despite this, the V60 Cross Country scratches that certain wagon itch and looks sensational to boot. I wish it were available with the T8 plug-in hybrid powertrain, but it's best not to get greedy at Christmas.

Ford Raptor or Corvette-powered Defender, which would you choose?

See official rules on Omaze.  Enter this sweepstakes today and get 150 bonus entries by signing up for the Autoblog Newsletter right here! Going around a track at breakneck speeds is exhilarating, but I much prefer leaving the asphalt behind and hitting the trail, which is why my dream garage is filled with vehicles like Land Cruisers, Broncos, Jeeps, Rams and even a lifted Subaru or two. Not to mention the two vehicles pictured above, the Ford F-150 Raptor and the Land Rover Defender. If either of these are in your dream garage, you’re in luck, because Omaze just happens to be giving away both, right now. All you have to do is enter here for the Raptor and here for the Defender. Win a Ford F-150 Raptor or a Himalaya Land Rover Defender - Enter Here Here is a side-by-side of the specs, according to Omaze: Vehicle: Himalaya Defender 110 Crew Cab / 2022 Ford F-150 Raptor 37 Maximum Seating: Four / Five Engine: 6.2-liter Corvette LS3 / 3.5L V6 EcoBoost Maximum Horsepower: 430 hp / 450 hp Maximum Torque: 425 lb-ft / 510 lb-ft Transmission: 6-speed automatic / 10-speed automatic Drivetrain: 4WD / 4WD Exterior Color: Satin Grey / Lead Foot Grey Interior Color: Jet Black / Rhapsody Blue Approximate Retail Value: $210,000 / $83,525 Defender special features: Black exterior roll bars and trim; Black 18” Sawtooth wheels with 35” tires; Wilwood brakes; 3" lift; Black diamond-stitched leather sport seats; MOMO Millenium steering wheel; front and rear matching consoles; Himalaya gauge cluster; Himalaya front and rear bumpers, bed-mounted tire carrier, and extended fender flares; Puma hood; LED lighting. F-150 Raptor special features: 0 to 60 mph in 5.1 seconds, 15 city / 18 highway miles per gallon fuel economy, Extended Range 36 Gallon Fuel Tank, 8,200-lb towing capacity, 17” beadlock-capable forged wheels, 37”x12.50 tires; Twin Panel Moonroof; Recaro Front-Seats; B&O Sound System; Fox Racing Shocks. Exterior Looks - Winner: Himalaya Land Rover Defender ThereÂ’s just something about the Defender. ItÂ’s rugged, yet handsome. ItÂ’s got classic appeal yet feels modern. It also has style while appearing to be as strong as a tank.

Jaguar-Land Rover will use recycled waste to make parts for future models

Thu, Oct 1 2020

Jaguar-Land Rover's future models will be partially made of junk. The company announced it's working on integrating a recycled material named Econyl into its manufacturing process in the coming years. Created in 2011 by Italy-based Aquafil, Econyl is a fiber made with a blend of recycled industrial plastics, fabric offcuts sourced from clothing manufacturers, and discarded fishing nets aimlessly floating around the ocean. It's more eco-friendly to produce than oil-based fibers, according to Jaguar, and it helps clean up the planet. Jaguar and Land Rover will use Econyl to make floor mats in the not-too-distant future. Neither company listed the models they'll put the material in, but it's reasonable to assume recycled floor mats will be available in the next-generation XJ, which will be electric, and the next-generation Range Rover. Both will be released in 2021. Eco-friendly materials are slowly but surely spreading across the luxury car segment. Jaguar already offers the I-Pace with a Kvadrat upholstery that combines regular wool and up to 53 recycled plastic bottles per car. Audi's fourth-generation A3 is optionally available with an upholstery made largely using recycled plastic bottles, and Volvo estimates at least 25% of the plastics in its cars will be recycled starting in 2025. Environmentalist organizations are putting an increasing amount of pressure on carmakers to deliver so-called vegan interiors. A group called EarthSight recently accused several companies (including Jaguar-Land Rover and BMW) of using leather from cattle raised on illegally logged lands in Paraguay. Representatives for the British company stressed they found no evidence to verify EarthSight's claims. Related Video:
