2008.5 Range Rover Supercharged Sc | Cpo Warranty | Low-miles! on 2040-cars
Cedar Falls, Iowa, United States
Best color combination - white over black. Land Rover warranty in place for remainder of 2014. Absolutely perfect condition and super low miles for a Rover. Never off-roaded two-owner car. This was a late 2008.5 model with an in-service just before January of 2009.
This model is the Supercharged (which comes comes standard with almost everything). Included is navigation, changer, Bluetooth, upgraded leather, ventilated heated and cooled seats, rear seat heaters, three-zone climate control, heated steering wheel, premium sound system, heated windshield and mirrors, backup camera, adaptive xenon lights, 20" wheels and much more. If you are a Rover enthusiast, this will not disappoint. And if it is your first you will never want anything else! From 2006 and on these cars are very well engineered and built - and excellent value considering the technology, gorgeous use of materials and probably the most beautifully-designed interior ever. This vehicle also has aftermarket rear entertainment, towing with wiring harness. Most Range Rovers have a receiver but not wiring. This was a $600 addition at the dealership. Additionally, this price includes a second set of wheels (off of a 2004 Range Rover) and Bridgestone Blizzak snow tires in great condition. The car is 100% to-date on service and has been exclusively serviced at Land Rover in Des Moines or Minneapolis. There is not a better one to buy at this price point or vintage. It has just been detailed and has fresh wax - ready for you. UPDATE: I am not a dealer. This is a private-party listing and this has been my personal vehicle for about two years. UPDATE: This car has both original keys. Additionally the cargo area includes both the flip-up hard cover AND the retractible net behind back seat. These items are worth about a grand if they are missing. |

Top Gear pits Hennessey VelociRaptor vs. Range Rover Sport SVR
Fri, Jun 5 2015As a television series, Top Gear is in limbo with an intent to return, but no hosts yet. However, it's magazine and website continue to bring us clips like this one. While the video might lack the show's charismatic hosts, this is an opportunity to see a drag race between a Land Rover Range Rover Sport SVR with 550 horsepower and a Hennessey VelociRaptor with 623 hp. The duel between these two supercharged V8s definitely sounds great. Both rugged models start at the line growling angrily at each other like dogs ready for a fight. You have to watch the clip to see whether the more powerful VelociRaptor feeds on the SVR, though. Is Jaguar's 3 Series-fighter the brand's last chance?
Wed, 16 Oct 2013The upcoming line of compact 3 Series-fighters from Jaguar, often referred to as the Jaguar XS, could consist of a sedan, wagon and possibly a coupe and GT model (think BMW 5 Series GT). The car's all-aluminum architecture also will provide the basis for two new sports utility vehicles. Just how important is the much-touted "baby Jag" project to parent company Jaguar Land Rover? A JLR executive reportedly says the brand's survival is directly linked to the success of the XS, codenamed X760, Autocar reports.
The brand's survival is directly linked to the success of the XS.
"If the X760 fails, it will probably be the end for the [Jaguar] brand," the executive says. But Adrian Hallmark, Jaguar's global brand director, claims Jaguar will "build the most advanced, most efficient, most refined car in that [compact luxury sedan] segment. Not almost as good as, but better than the best in the world."
Jaguar Land Rover calls in handful of vehicles over suspension bolts
Thu, 24 Apr 2014With most recalls seemingly affecting mass-market vehicles, it'd be all too easy to assume, consciously or otherwise, that higher-end automobiles never face such issues. But the main reason we don't see the NHTSA recalling more luxury automobiles isn't because of their quality, we'd postulate: it's because of their relative scarcity.
Take Jaguar Land Rover, recalls of whose vehicles we only seem to have cause to report about once a year. So if you're figuring they're about due, here you go. The Indian-owned British auto group has just announced two recalls, both regarding suspension components: one affecting Jaguars and another concerning - you guessed it - Land Rovers.
First up we have a recall for 2013 to 2014 model year Jaguar XJ, XF and XK models - a whopping 297 of them - which have been found to have problematic toe links. Separation of the toe link from the rear sub-frame could result in impaired stability and control over the vehicle's direction, so JLR is calling them in to replace the nuts and washers on the rear toe links.
