Front and rear brakes and air suspension are being replaced as the auction starts and the photos were taken at the performance repair shop, VIP motorsports in Mesa, AZ on Alma School and Elliot. Car otherwise drives great and has low mileage."

This 2007 Supercharged Range Rover in rare Stornaway Gray over Beige leather interior is ready for its new owner. This 2 owner vehicle was purchased by me on January 28th 2010 with just over 17k miles on it. I bought it from Ambassador Motor Cars in Naples, Florida who specialize in low mileage vehicles with unique options or color combinations, please see their website.

The car was shipped enclosed and has been garaged since and is a daily driver but was not used for work commuting. I pretty much used it for everything else but getting to work.
The Arizona heat has gotten to the front drivers seat and it is starting to crack but not at that point yet, see photo.
The car reserve will be under the blue book value of $37,700 given the condition of the seat. The brakes are new as is the front suspension system both of which will be completed in time for auction end. This is normal wear and tear for this vehicle approaching this mileage. Some people will replace the air suspension system at this point with springs because it is less of an expense. I have chosen to restore it with original parts from the UK factory and the box and receipt will be included with the sale.
The rear suspension system is in good working order. The entire vehicle has been recently inspected at the Land Rover dealership in North Scottsdale, AZ and the only findings on the vehicle are being addressed. ( Inspection June 2013)
Tires are not new and have 65% tread remaining. I will not replace the tires since winning bidder may want to put their own rims and tires. Three wheels are in excellent condition with no scratches or curb rash, the 4th is very good.

Rear seats have never been used and the cargo truck is clean with no stains. All buttons and switches work and the door panels are in good condition. Paint is in very good condition with no swirl marks except for a small door ding in the right rear quarter panel which will be touched up. To keep the car in original condition I will not be removing the quarter panel to repaint it. The front of the car and windshield create a pretty big surface area for paint nicks due to small rocks and dust and these are present but not noticeable unless you are looking for them. There is no clear bra on the vehicle. The car has only been handwashed by both owners as are all my vehicles.

Please see for sale my other auction of my current daily driver, a 2012 Volkwagen Touraeg with 18,500 miles. The RS4 sold last week and is no longer available.
Thank you for looking and good luck with the bidding. I do have a buy it now in mind for a quick sale for someone with approved financing but this will only be done for someone who will buy and pick up the car in person.
It can be seen at VIP motorsports until this weekend but not driven, until the suspension is fixed, at which point it will then be in my garage for anyone who wants to test drive it.

The car is strong and has been very reliable for me.

Lots of Land Rovers, Jaguars and Minis actually survived that near-capsized ship

Thu, Jan 29 2015

Despite a severe list to starboard, many of the 1,400 cars and SUVs aboard the 51,000-ton Hoegh Osaka are currently being recovered in salvageable condition, with video showing some of the vehicles from British brands Land Rover, Jaguar and Mini, being driven ashore under their own power. The car-carrying vessel developed a severe list on January 3 and was intentionally run aground on a sandbar between England and the Isle of Wight. It has since limped its way back to port in Southampton, where damage assessments are being conducted on both the ship and its $53-million in cargo. According to the company that owns the car carrier, the ship itself only suffered minor damage in the incident, while Car and Driver is reporting that many of the damaged vehicles will almost certainly be scrapped. Still, the fact that there are vehicles, some of which appear undamaged (look at that Defender at 0:50!), being removed from the Hoegh Osaka needs to count as a net win. Is Jaguar's 3 Series-fighter the brand's last chance?

Wed, 16 Oct 2013

The upcoming line of compact 3 Series-fighters from Jaguar, often referred to as the Jaguar XS, could consist of a sedan, wagon and possibly a coupe and GT model (think BMW 5 Series GT). The car's all-aluminum architecture also will provide the basis for two new sports utility vehicles. Just how important is the much-touted "baby Jag" project to parent company Jaguar Land Rover? A JLR executive reportedly says the brand's survival is directly linked to the success of the XS, codenamed X760, Autocar reports.
The brand's survival is directly linked to the success of the XS.
"If the X760 fails, it will probably be the end for the [Jaguar] brand," the executive says. But Adrian Hallmark, Jaguar's global brand director, claims Jaguar will "build the most advanced, most efficient, most refined car in that [compact luxury sedan] segment. Not almost as good as, but better than the best in the world."
