This is an auction for my daily driver 2006 Range Rover HSE, purchased from local Land Rover Fort Pierce, FL.  This vehicle has been in FL for its life.  The vehicle is in very good condition for 2006 SAND interior and JAVA Black exterior with some wear only on drivers seat and normal imperfections exterior for 8 year old auto.  Although many off road accessories this vehicle has not been driven off road at most to a public campsite !  I personally added all custom upgrades/accessories during my ownership.  Everything works on this vehicle no known issues!  Clean inspection during service done this summer.  Vehicle comes with TWO KEYS and MANUALS.  There is little or no visible rust.  Never seen snow!  Since I have owned this vehicle repairs all done by Land Rover Fort Perce include:

New Battery in late 2011

Engine oil cooler box in 2012 (1,000)

NEW AIR BAG SUSPENSION in 2013 (3,000)

COMPLETE NEW AC SYSTEM evaporator and condensor in 2013 (2,800)

New rear upper tail gate struts in 2014

NEW BRIDGSTONE DUELLERS and Allignment less than 4,000 miles ago!

Custom details and accessories include:

Safari roof rack by Voyager Racks with additional optional plastic guard over bottom of rack to prevent scratches to paint and rack front wind deflector seen in some pics... (2000)

Unused matching like new rear ladder never installed but will include in auction, confident I have all install parts but will not garuntee, seems like would be simple only for holes for screws...  Refer to pics (200)

OEM Hood wind deflector (200)

Rear tail light guards with minor blemish/crack driver side has been plastic welded stronger than before... (200)

Rear OEM  Dog Guard for cargo area heavy duty with some wear on the nylon straps (300)

OEM Rubber all weather floor mats including cargo area (300)

OEM Front and rear mud guards (550)

OEM UPGRADED autobiography edition burled walnut wooden shifter and ebrake handle LOOKS GREAT! (900)

OEM Land Rover tent seen in pics preowned with some wear included in auction, minimal holes/tears (800)

Custom body color matched grille, hood vent, sideview mirrors, side vents.  Also custom matte black "VOGUE" badge on rear tailgate to replace HSE badge.  I also have black land rover exterior badges for green ones on front grille and rear hatch, which I have not gotten around to swapping out...

Custom OEM BLACK WHEELS on new BRIDGESTONE DUELLERS! (1400)

LEGAL additional tint on all windows, except windshield

I have listed all that I can think of.  As for cons, the dealership recommended new brake pads ONLY at my next service date and I have pictured a superfiscial scratch on driverside rear door that should definitely buff out.  There are a few small divots in the front bumper guard perhaps from rocks while driving.  The powder coated finish was not compromised...  The brakes are starting to squeak just a bit.  I will replace the pads within 1 week of purchase before pick up, included in the "buy it now" price, otherwise you are on your own.  There are some minor scuffs imperfections on black wheels one or more.  The rubber on the rear upper tail gate bottom is showing some wear and cracks.  I believe the previous owner had a VERY MINOR incident/accident with NO DAMAGE so that Land Rover was still able to sell as a Certified Pre Owned auto.  This vehicle has been well cared for and FLAVORFULLY customized as a unique hard to find EURO STYLE ROVER.  This would be a great auto for an active outdoorsman or great family auto.  I am still making payments on this auto, loan with local bank, sorry for inconvenience, hopefully all the extras will make it worth your while, I will try to make as easy as possible, should be easy transaction!  SOME REASSURANCE THAT MOST BIG REPAIRS SEEN IN ROVERS THESE AGE HAVE BEEN DONE!!!  I truly believe for the price there is not a better rover out there.   PLEASE COME AND SEE BEFORE YOU BUY IF POSSIBLE!  PICK UP ONLY OR BUYER RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING!!!  This vehicle is for sale locally and may be bought before auction end.  1,000 dollar deposit within 48 hours of purchase and complete payment within 1 week.   This vehicle is AS IS!  Mileage may change from listing as this is my daily driver!  Thanks for looking!

Second 'No Time To Die' trailer drops with lots of crunching metal

Thu, Sep 3 2020

The second trailer for the new James Bond film, "No Time To Die," was posted to social media Thursday morning, getting us thoroughly hyped for the forthcoming installment thanks to some spicy car content and lots of other ridiculous, big-budget action sequences.  Fair warning for the purists: This might contain plot- and character-related information from the trailer itself. Also, it appears that many Land Rover Defenders died in the making of this film, so the footage may not be for the faint of heart; don't say we didn't give you advance notice.  As is typical of Bond films, most of the automotive eye candy is of the European variety. The classic Aston Martin DB5 gadget car (which we saw doing some crazy machine-gun donuts in the first trailer) makes yet another appearance, as does what appears to be fourth-generation Maserati Quattroporte. There's even something which might be a car, but also appears to be both some sort of airplane and submersible. Never change, Bond. We love it.  And then there are the Defenders. We've got Defenders speeding down hillsides, Defenders crashing through forests, Defenders flying over Land Cruisers. Yeah, do you like Land Cruisers? There's a Land Cruiser. It even (spoiler alert!) survives relatively unscathed; the same cannot be said for most of the automotive shenanigans we get to see here.  "No Time To Die" was originally slated to debut back in April, but its original release date roughly coincided with the projected peak of early coronavirus infections. Given how important the Bond film franchise's continued success is to MGM (it's virtually the only thing the studio has had going for it for 30 years) and the producers (who only make Bond films), meager box office returns were not an option. The last film, Spectre, pulled in the worldwide gross of $880 million, including $200 million in the United States and $83.5 million in China. The wait is almost over. "No Time to Die" will hit theaters Nov. 25 in the United States.  Related Video:

Jaguar-Land Rover builds millionth vehicle at Halewood

Fri, 29 Nov 2013

Jaguar-Land Rover is not what you'd call a volume automaker by any stretch of the imagination. But in the dozen years since it started manufacturing at its Halewood plant near Liverpool, England, the automaker has already built its millionth vehicle.
The landmark vehicle is a Range Rover Evoque, done up in white with red roof and mirrors, black wheels and a red and black interior. The crossover is set to be donated to Cancer Research UK, which will auction it off next year to help fund its projects in the north-west of the country.
Halewood started manufacturing the Jaguar X-Type in 2001, then went on to assemble the Land Rover LR2 / Freelander 2 before taking on production of the Evoque a year and a half ago. The facility reached the 300,000-unit milestone just last year as production moved to a 24-hour cycle for the first time in either marque's history.

Pivi Pro Jaguar Land Rover Infotainment Review | A massive improvement

Fri, Aug 6 2021

Infotainment systems in Jaguar Land Rover products have irked us for a long while. They’re generally a good step — or several — behind other luxury automakers' infotainment systems in terms of features and looks. But the big problem has always been their functionality. Even right out of the gate, they exhibited an undue amount of lag and general bugginess. Pivi Pro is supposed to change all of that. ItÂ’s JLRÂ’s completely new-from-the-ground-up infotainment system that is quickly spreading across the companyÂ’s range of products. It features a new screen size and layout. Plus, the software itÂ’s running is vastly different from what we saw previously. Our Byron Hurd got a first taste of it with a number of JLR products in a short period of time and found it to be a big improvement. Now, weÂ’ve had a new Land Rover Discovery in the garage for a longer period to fully suss out the system. Will it hold up? Watch the video above for a quick tour, and keep reading for some more detailed thoughts. Before diving in too deep, you should know off the top that Pivi Pro is a massive improvement over JLR infotainment systems of old. There are still some issues, but the new systemÂ’s performance is exponentially better than what itÂ’s replacing. This is partly thanks to it now running off its own backup battery. This allows the whole system to load immediately upon startup, ensuring that you arenÂ’t sitting and waiting for items to populate after you press the start button.  The new 11.4-inch screen this software plays on is splendid to both look at and touch. ItÂ’s a super-high-resolution panel, and it takes to our inputs quickly and without protest. The new UI layout makes things easier and prettier, too. All of your important items are tucked into a panel on the left, making them super easy to find and select. Plus, a sticky “home” button means you can always find your way out of menus when youÂ’re done diving around. We dig the three-panel home screen and its minimalist style, but for those who might favor maximum functionality over a pretty home screen, you can replace this with rows of app icons. For those wanting to use their phones, there is indeed an in-car WiFi data plan available to buy. Plus, JLR newly allows you to connect two devices via Bluetooth instead of just one. Both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are nicely integrated with this new system.
