This is a 2000 Range Rover HSE.  The vehicle currently has 114k on it and it will go up daily as I drive the truck every day.  This truck has zero rust, and the interior is in great shape with no rips or defects in the leather.  The headliner has been repaired, anyone familiar with Rovers will tell you the headliner is almost always an issue.  The truck runs and drives perfect with all power options in proper functioning order.  There are a few things the truck needs however and they are listed next.
First - The srs light is on.  All maintenance has been done, the light simply needs reset at your local LR dealer.  I will write this into the sale of the truck and will guarantee it or pay all repairs related to the srs system.
Second - The truck needs an AC condenser.  The condenser has a leak.  These can be found for around $150 and with a little mechanical ability installed.  If you would like I will purchase one for you and include it in the sale for the additional $150.  For a labor fee I will also install the unit.

Other than the two items listed above the truck is a great truck.  I just returned from a 700 mile trip, it gets an average of 16.9mpg on the highway which for a rover is excellent.  The tires are all new with only 2000 miles on them as well.  I have included some general pictures in the posting, however if you would like specific pictures please let me know, include an email address to send them to and I will take them right away for you.  I find this the best way to do it because everyone has specific areas of interest.  Lastly, the truck has an in dash, DVD/CD player with optional Nav.  This is a pioneer unit with add on options.  Air suspension is also in perfect working order.

Jaguar-Land Rover builds millionth vehicle at Halewood

Fri, 29 Nov 2013

Jaguar-Land Rover is not what you'd call a volume automaker by any stretch of the imagination. But in the dozen years since it started manufacturing at its Halewood plant near Liverpool, England, the automaker has already built its millionth vehicle.
The landmark vehicle is a Range Rover Evoque, done up in white with red roof and mirrors, black wheels and a red and black interior. The crossover is set to be donated to Cancer Research UK, which will auction it off next year to help fund its projects in the north-west of the country.
Halewood started manufacturing the Jaguar X-Type in 2001, then went on to assemble the Land Rover LR2 / Freelander 2 before taking on production of the Evoque a year and a half ago. The facility reached the 300,000-unit milestone just last year as production moved to a 24-hour cycle for the first time in either marque's history.

Jaguar Land Rover creates new Special Operations division for halo vehicles, bespoke commissions

Fri, 13 Jun 2014

Jaguar Land Rover has announced that a new division of the British manufacturer will be dedicated to "bespoke commissions," as well as heritage products and apparel. Oh, and the new Special Operations division will also be behind JLR's halo cars from now on.
It's that last one that is the most tantalizing, as the last real halo product to see production from Jaguar was the XJ220. The Range Rover, meanwhile, has always had its own kind of halo reputation, although the Land Rover brand itself has never really gotten into the game with a dedicated model.
According to JLR, the new halo models will focus on ultra-high performance and luxury with a limited run of vehicles. The bespoke models, meanwhile, will give the wealthiest customers full sway over how vehicles are outfitted, with unique paints, trims and other accessories. The new SpecOps division will be run by John Edwards.

Jaguar Land Rover building new R&D center for hybrids, EVs, autonomous cars

Wed, 25 Sep 2013

The success of Jaguar Land Rover in recent years has largely been down to a resurgent product lineup, but a recent move into the research and development will see the British-based, Indian-owned brands take the fight to its German rivals more aggressively than ever before.
JLR is investing 50 million pounds ($80,345,000, as of this writing) in a joint R&D center in central England. The move will more than triple its staff dedicated to research, from 150 to 500, with Wolfgang Epple, JLR's Director of Research and Technology telling Automotive News Europe, "In order to play among the big animals in automotive and to be anchored in the mind of customers you have to have offered something unique, to be first in market. We want to be one of the key premier automotive manufacturers."
Jaguar Land Rover's 50-million-pound contribution represents more than half of the 94-million-pound tab, on the so-called National Automotive Innovation Campus. Based at Warwick University, Tata's European Technical Center, Warwick Manufacturing Group and the Higher Education Funding Council, an agency of the British government, are all chipping in for the facility.
