For sale is my 1995 Range Rover Classic LWB (long wheel base). This vehicle is one of the best examples of a CLEAN, LOW MILAGE, RUST FREE RRC LWB that you will find. 1995 was the last year that Land Rover produced the RRC and the only year with the "soft dash". The vehicle has less than 88,000 original miles. The interior is in great condition including the drivers seat. The headliner shows no sagging and is clean. It has never been smoked in and still has that new car smell. The original problematic air suspension was replaced with OME HD coils and Bilstein shocks.
This was my wife's daily diver until approx 1 year ago. She loved the driving it and misses the amazing leg room in the back seat for the kids but she needed a 7 seater. I was giong to keep it as a collectible. Our local dealership likes to borrow it for a display but space is limited here so I have decided to sell it.
Parts replaced within the past year include the entire exhaust system including the catalytic converters (Y-pipe), O2 sensors, OME stearing dampner and gas struts for the rear window. I replaced the O2 sensors and catalytic converters only because the rear tail pipe needed replacing it would be good preventive maintanence.
Parts replaced in the past 6 months at 87,000 include new spark plugs, new spark plug wires, new air filter, new distributor cap and rotor, oil change, and new Hella Vision Plus headlights.
The exterior of the vehicle looks good but does have the common paint fade that most Land Rovers of this age and newer show. The Florida "love bugs " didn't help either. All it would need is a respray to look as good as new. The auto check will show that the vehicle has been in an accident. The damage was done to the passenger rear quarter panel. Nothing major but I refused to let them just pull it out and fill it with bondo. Instead I had the rear quarter panel removed and replace with a LR original panel and then repainted. So this vehicle is rust free and has no bondo patch work.
Mechanically, it runs solid. The only mechanical items that you may want to address are as follow. The drivers window needs a new switch. It is up but wont come down. The power steering pump needs to be replaced or repaired. I drove it for aprox 1 year and the only time I noticed the steering is when I went to parallel park and thats not often. The radio works but it is stuck in tape mode with the Ipod adaptor in it. Basically it works with your Ipod,MP3 ect. but you wont be able to put your cassette tapes in it for a flashback of the eighties.
The vehicle is also for sale locally. I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Payment in full prior to delivery or shipping. Buyer pays all shipping or delivery fees.
I tried to cover as much as possible.I encourage anyone interested to please contact me. I would be happy to show the vehicle with some prior notice due to having it stored in a friend's garage.
This RRC LWB is perfect for the enthusiast that wants the best RRC ever made.
I am not by the computer often so if you need a fast response to any questions then please contact Rico @ (813)416-7201.

Is Land Rover developing an all-electric Tesla Model X rival?
Fri, Oct 31 2014Tesla will soon put its all-electric Model X crossover on sale, and if it's anywhere near as successful as the brand's four-door sedan the Model S, then it'll be a hell of an attention getter for mainstream automakers. Land Rover isn't waiting for proof of the Model X's success, though. According to reports, Land Rover could be preparing an all-electric Range Rover. Likely more crossover than full-size SUV, the new vehicle would probably be far more aerodynamic than current models. But the new EV would still take advantage of LR's high-tech aluminum structure, and could potentially be a close relative of the production Jaguar C-X17, according to Autocar. It seems unlikely that this new Land Rover EV will have the off-road chops of the brand's other models, but that doesn't mean that will be useless on the rough stuff. AC, citing Land Rover design boss Gerry McGovern, claims that a height-adjustable air suspension will allow a low, aerodynamic ride height for high-speed travel while it can easily be transitioned to a higher level for off-road duty. As for range, AC believes (and we agree) that a successful effort would need to get as close as possible to the Model S' 265-mile EV range. Autocar is anticipating a price of around 90,000 pounds, equivalent to $144,000, which roughly matches the cost of a UK-market Model S. If the Range Rover EV comes stateside, we'd wager that prices will start under six figures, much like the US-market Tesla.

Pivi Pro Jaguar Land Rover Infotainment Review | A massive improvement
Fri, Aug 6 2021Infotainment systems in Jaguar Land Rover products have irked us for a long while. They’re generally a good step — or several — behind other luxury automakers' infotainment systems in terms of features and looks. But the big problem has always been their functionality. Even right out of the gate, they exhibited an undue amount of lag and general bugginess. Pivi Pro is supposed to change all of that. ItÂ’s JLRÂ’s completely new-from-the-ground-up infotainment system that is quickly spreading across the companyÂ’s range of products. It features a new screen size and layout. Plus, the software itÂ’s running is vastly different from what we saw previously. Our Byron Hurd got a first taste of it with a number of JLR products in a short period of time and found it to be a big improvement. Now, weÂ’ve had a new Land Rover Discovery in the garage for a longer period to fully suss out the system. Will it hold up? Watch the video above for a quick tour, and keep reading for some more detailed thoughts. Before diving in too deep, you should know off the top that Pivi Pro is a massive improvement over JLR infotainment systems of old. There are still some issues, but the new systemÂ’s performance is exponentially better than what itÂ’s replacing. This is partly thanks to it now running off its own backup battery. This allows the whole system to load immediately upon startup, ensuring that you arenÂ’t sitting and waiting for items to populate after you press the start button. The new 11.4-inch screen this software plays on is splendid to both look at and touch. ItÂ’s a super-high-resolution panel, and it takes to our inputs quickly and without protest. The new UI layout makes things easier and prettier, too. All of your important items are tucked into a panel on the left, making them super easy to find and select. Plus, a sticky “home” button means you can always find your way out of menus when youÂ’re done diving around. We dig the three-panel home screen and its minimalist style, but for those who might favor maximum functionality over a pretty home screen, you can replace this with rows of app icons. For those wanting to use their phones, there is indeed an in-car WiFi data plan available to buy. Plus, JLR newly allows you to connect two devices via Bluetooth instead of just one. Both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are nicely integrated with this new system.
