MY FRONT SIDE WINDOWS ARE TINTED TO MATCH THE REAR FACTORY TINTED 20% SHADE WINDOWS SO IT LOOKS ALL ONE SHADE GLASS ALL OVER BUT THE WINDSHIELD, NOT ALLOWED TO TINT WINDSHIELDS IN SOME STATES EVEN RHOUGH I HAVE MY HUMMER TINTED ALL AROUND AND IT HEKPS WITH THE UV RAYS 100% OFF AND KEEPS MY CAR COOL IN HOT DAYS.

I AM SELLING 3 OF MY HIGH END CARS SINCE I HAVE TOO MANY VEHICLES AND I HAVE BARELY EVEN DRIVEN THIS LAND ROVER IN THE PAST 3 MONTHS IT HAS BEEN GARAGED BECAUSE I ALSO HAVE A HUMMER AND AN SL500 I WILL ALSO LIST FOR SALE AND AN EXOTIC LAMBORGHINI GALLARDO, I WILL BE MOVING TO MIAMI IN THE NEXT 6 MONTHS SO I ALSO ACTUALLY HAVE MY HOUSE FOR SALE, I AM ONLY KEEPING MY HUMMER H2 AND MY LAMBO AND SELLING MY BENZ AND THIS LAND ROVER AND MY EVERYDAY CHRYSLER...
I HAD PURCHASED THIS LAND ROVER LAST YEAR FOR MY GF TO DRIVE BUT AFTER WE BROKE UP SHORTLY AFTER THAN I STARTED DRIVING IT A FEW DAYS A WEEK JUST TO WORK AND BACK IN THE WINTER THAN I JUST GARAGED IT ABOUT 4 MONTHS AGO AND I DRIVE MAINLY MY HUMMER AND MY CHRYSLER.
IT ACTUALLY DOES PRETTY GOOD ON GAS AND HAS LOTS OF POWER WHEN YOU NEED IT.

I HAD A TUNE UP DONE AND CHANGED THE SYNTHETIC OIL AND ALL FILTERS AND CHANGED ALL 8 SPARK PLUGS AND COILS AND MY MECHANIC ALSO RECOMMENDED I REPLACE THE THERMOSTAT AND THE WATER PUMP SO I DID... AND DRAINED AND REPLACED THE ANTIFREEZE AND HE EVEN REPPLACED THE RADIATOR BECAUSE THE ORIGINAL ONE HAD A SMALL LEAK "FROM THE DRAIN PLUG" THAT I NOTICED IN MY DRIVEWAY SO WE DIDNT NOTICE UNTIL WE BOUGHT THE NEW RADIATOR AND INSTALLED IT THAN HE TELLS ME IT WAS ONLY FROM THE DRAIN PLUG AND THAT COULD HAD COST 1000.00 CHEAPER BUT THINGS HAPPEN FOR A REASON IS THE WAY I SEE IT SO MAYBE REPLACING IT WAS A GOOD IDEA...
THAN HE ALSO CHECKED ALL THE BRAKES AND SUSPENSION AND ALL THE BALL JOINTS ETC... EVERYTHING WAS IN GOOD HEALTH.
ALL TIRES ARE ABOUT 75% GOOD WITH LOTS OF TREAD LEFT...
THERE ARE NO LEAKS COMING FROM MY LR3, IT WAS PARKED IN MY GARAGE FOR A FEW MONTHS AND THE GROUND IS TOTALLY DRY AND WITHOUT ANY TYPE OF OIL LEAK OR ANY TRANSMISSION FLUID LEAK OR ANYTHING, BUT ONLY THE ANTIFREEZE DRIP FROM THE DRAIN PLUG OR MAYBE ONLY THE PLUG GASKET RUBBER PART AND HAPPENED AFTER MY MECHANIC DID THE COOLANT CHANGE OF COURSE... I DO TRUST MY MECHANIC BUT SOMETIMES THEY HAVE TO TRICK YOU AND MAKE YOU CHANGE A PART THAT DOESN'T NEED TO BE CHANGED...  IT'S LIFE AND I GUESS HE MADE A MISTAKE BUT NEVER SAID IT WAS HIS FAULT. I STILL HAVE THE ORIGINAL RADIATOR THAT LOOKS LIKE NEW AND I CAN LET YOU HAVE IT AS A SPARE EXTRA ONE...

YOU ARE ALSO INSURED BY EBAY BUYER PROTECTION WITH THIS 2006 LAND ROVER LR3 SE V8 FOR UP TO $50k AND IF YOU GET THE CAR SHIPPED TO YOU AND PAY IN FULL WITHOUT SEEN THE VEHICLE AND YOU FIND IT NOT AS ADVERTISED OR ANYTHING WRONG WITH THE ENGINE OR TRANSMISSION OR ANYTHING BROKEN AND NOT DISCLOSED IN MY LISTING THAN THE EBAY BUYER WARRANTY PAYS FOR ALL REPAIRS... This Ford F-150 might have a Land Rover turbodiesel V6

Thu, Dec 17 2015

Our spy photographers just caught this Ford F-150 driving around Dearborn, wearing camouflage around the bed – not so unusual near Ford's headquarters. What's interesting with this particular mule is that it might be packing a Jaguar-Land Rover turbodiesel V6. As with the Super Duty, the F-150 prototype pictured here sports a Venturi exhaust tip popping out the side of the rear bumper behind the wheel, which – along with the sound reported by our shutterbug – suggests that it's burning oil up front. That could mean Ford has found another application for the 3.2-liter, five-cylinder Power Stroke diesel that it just federalized for the Transit van. However our sources suggest what the mule is actually powered by the 3.0-liter Lion V6 diesel that Jaguar Land Rover – once subsidiaries in Ford's Premier Automotive Group – is bringing over for the Td6 models of the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport. The engine produces a respectable 254 horsepower and a healthy 443 pound-feet of torque, and is tipped to be mated to the same ten-speed automatic transmission as the new Raptor. That could give the F-150 the kind of fuel economy and muscle it would need to challenge the likes of the Ram 1500 EcoDiesel and the heavier-duty Nissan Titan with the Cummins engine. With gas prices as low as they are, however, and sales of diesel-powered vehicles lagging, Ford could just be trying to keep up with the competition by offering a light-duty diesel pickup. With its lightweight aluminum body, the diesel F-150 could even surpass the Duramax diesel-powered Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon for frugality at the pumps, according to Mark Williams of PickupTrucks.com. He told Autoblog that, "it makes perfect sense for Ford to do a diesel. It seems like everyone is pushing them to do a Ranger, but if they can get the F-150 to push 30 mpg it can challenge the Ram Ecodiesel and even the Colorado Duramax." Reached for comment, Ford spokesman Mike Levine sent us the following statement: "We do not speculate about future products. While diesel is a solution, it is not the solution. EcoBoost offers the ideal combination of performance and fuel economy that over 60 percent of F-150 customers are choosing." Jaguar Land Rover exploring 3D HUD and infotainment projections

Wed, Aug 21 2019

With its most recent technology research, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) is exploring the use of 3D projections for a world before and/or after autonomous vehicles come to fruition. In collaboration with the United Kingdom's University of Cambridge, JLR has developed concepts for a 3D head-up display that shows information on the road ahead and a system that projects personalized 3D infotainment for vehicle passengers.  As of right now, hundreds of production vehicles are equipped with two-dimensional head-up displays, some color, others black and white. Using various techniques and different technologies, manufacturers display information in a flat image in front of a driver. Some might find it distracting or unhelpful to have this in the driver's line of sight, and JLR might have found a solution. Rather than wedge the information in between the person and the view ahead, a 3D system that uses augmented reality could display the info onto the road in front of the driver. JLR thinks the system could project navigation directions, safety alerts such as lane departure, hazard detection or other bits typically found in a car's infotainment or instrument cluster. Some might find this to be even more distracting that 2D head-up displays, but to each his or her own. While the 3D head-up display is something that could be used right now, if it were released and passed legal, part two of JLR's 3D technology research is imagined for a life where truly autonomous vehicles are skating across the country. Using head- and eye-tracking technology, the system could lock into the position of numerous people in a vehicle and give each of them a personalized 3D projection "screen." This could be used to track a trip, look up points of interest, or even watch movies. JLR points out this could be used during ride-sharing without bothering others in the vehicle. The work with the Center for Advanced Photonics and Electronics at Cambridge is still in development for now, but it's only a matter of time before 3D tech makes it into cars in some degree.

Jaguar Land Rover CEO: Wrong Brexit deal will cost thousands of UK jobs

Tue, Sep 11 2018

BIRMINGHAM, England — The wrong Brexit deal could cost tens of thousands of jobs, the boss of Britain's biggest carmaker Jaguar Land Rover warned on Tuesday, saying he had no idea whether his plants would be able to operate after Britain leaves the European Union next year. Ralf Speth also said that the company would not be able to build cars if customs checks meant that the motorway to and from the southern English port of Dover, which is used to transport components, becomes a "car park" due to snarl-ups of people no longer able to move freely among EU countries. Speth made the warning at a conference in Birmingham, central England, speaking shortly before Prime Minister Theresa May, who is battling to have her so-called Chequers Brexit plan accepted by many in her Conservative Party as well as the EU ahead of Britain's departure from the bloc on March 29. "A thousand (jobs were) lost as a result of diesel policy, and those numbers will be counted in the tens of thousands if we do not get the right Brexit deal," warned Speth, referring to redundancies made earlier this year at the firm. "Currently I do not even know if any of our manufacturing facilities in the UK will be able to function on the 30th," he said. The boss of JLR, which built nearly a third of Britain's cars last year, also said long-standing issues around low productivity in Britain could be compounded by a Brexit agreement which made the country less competitive. "It is thousands of pounds cheaper to produce vehicles for instance in Eastern Europe than in Solihull, and what decisions will I be forced to make if Brexit means not merely that costs go up but that we cannot physically build cars on time and on budget in the UK?" he said.Reporting by Costas Pitas
