As we walked around the vehicle, we were impressed with the NEW tires and how they gripped the road on our test drive. The strong SUV stood its ground and stayed strait down the path without any hesitation. Land Rover did it right in 2005 by upgrading the "Discovery" model to the LR3. The drastic change in body style has made the LR3 one of the most sought-after Land Rover's in the market. We did have the chance to use the awesome 4x4 system in some mud and rough terrain to ensure the reliability of the vehicles' features. Keep in mind that on each test drive, we run the Air Conditioning and then the Heat for 20 minutes each and all the functions and climate levels all work properly. The tinted windows made for a very comfortable ride inside. The 8-way power driver seat was easy to use and will adjust to any persons needs. The full leather and dual sunroofs makes this Land Rover a vehicle to be desired! On a side note, it was awesome how many people were attracted to us while driving and how many people looked in awe during our test drive through the city! 
Our "OPINION OF THE EXTERIOR" of this Land Rover LR3 HSE is overall in better-than-good condition. There are a few normal scratches, but nothing obvious as your looking. There is no body damage and all fenders, doors and panels are in excellent shape. There are a few trim piece connectors loose, but we are working to get those replaced. Our "OPINION OF THE INTERIOR" of this Land Rover Discovery HSE is incredible! We've owned several Rovers and this one seems to be amongst the best, which is why we are offering this on eBay. We were so impressed and hopefully the pictures do it justice, but you will NOT be disappointed when you get this vehicle. The HSE edition came with Navigation and backup sensors and of course, much more! As far as the A/C and Heat, everything seems to work properly and their is no abnormal noises from the compressor and/or blower motor. The leather is very soft due to the window tinting protecting the sun and cold weather factors that usually wear the leather in a not-so-great way! The upgraded leather seating is comfortable and the 8-way power seats make fitting into the LR3 easy for any type of person.

Jaguar Land Rover's latest tech makes roads safer for bikes [w/video]

Safety in automobiles isn't just about protecting the occupants anymore. It's about protecting pedestrians who might be struck by an automobile, and as Jaguar Land Rover is demonstrating, it's about protecting cyclists as well. The latest experimental safety system from the British automaker is called Bike Sense, and it builds upon technologies the company has demonstrated recently, taking them a step further to make the road safer for those riding on two wheels. The system uses a combination of colors, sounds and vibrations to alert the driver of a potential hazard that might have otherwise gone unnoticed. Demonstrated on an XJ sedan, the system identifies nearby two-wheeled vehicles as pedal-powered or motorized, and alerts the driver accordingly. If a cycle is passing a the vehicle's blind spot, the top of the seat will vibrate to virtually "tap" the driver on the left or right shoulder, prompting him or her to look over that shoulder for the hazard. LEDs inside the cabin will then illuminate amber to red in the direction that the bike is passing. The system will even chime a bicycle bell or motorcycle horn as the two-wheeled vehicle approaches, and vibrate or stiffen the accelerator pedal if the driver keeps moving towards the obstacle. And if an occupant of the parked vehicle starts to open the door into the path of moving vehicle, it'll flash a light, sound an alarm and even vibrate the door handle to warn the occupant of the oncoming hazard. We could imagine the alerts getting a little distracting, but JLR says the system is designed to prioritize potential hazards when their are groups of pedestrians, bicyclists and/or motorcycle riders on a busy urban street. This is, of course, just the latest in a long string of new systems JLR has under development, following such technologies as the Transparent Bonnet, the Smart Assistant, the Virtual Windscreen for track sessions and the 360 Virtual Urban Windscreen for city driving. Jaguar demanding customer data from reluctant dealers

Nearly every major business is collecting consumer data these days, and keeping that data secure has come to the forefront of many customer's minds. Jaguar Land Rover North America's decision to begin requesting more customer info from its dealer network appears unfortunately timed, however. If it had come a few years ago, it might have been ignored, but in today's climate of heightened awareness, a few dealers are pushing back. To put the showrooms in an even tougher position, JLR NA is threatening to deny quarterly incentives if they do not turn over the customer data, according to Automotive News.
JLR NA instated the nationwide plan, which it calls Single View CRM, on February 7, but according to Stuart Schorr, Jaguar Land Rover North America Vice President of Communications, the automaker has been negotiating with its dealers to institute the new program for over a year. Schorr tells Autoblog that no financial information is being shared, noting that such data is limited to customer details, including things like what vehicles they own and whether they have any pending service. The initiative is meant to "improve customers' and owners' engagement with the brand," he said. Also, the company is not accessing dealer data itself; instead showrooms are asked to enter the info into JLR's database.

A massive data leak has revealed the personnel files of hundreds of employees at Jaguar Land Rover's factory in Solihull, England. The documents reveal details such as sick days used, disciplinary issues and — most notably — red lines indicating potential firings in the weeks or months ahead. In total, the personal records of more than 600 workers were released. JLR is scrambling to contain the crisis. The breach was first reported by the Huffington Post UK, with the automaker initially claiming the story was "fake news." That publicity gaff certainly didn't help matters, especially for employees staring at their name with a red line slashed across it. Last month, the British automaker had said it would be eliminating roughly 1,000 employees at factories in the U.K. The Solihull plant, which produces models like the Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Jaguar F-Pace and Jaguar XE, was among those mentioned in the statement. JLR, which is owned by the Indian conglomerate Tata Motors, is facing a steep drop in sales, particularly in its home market. The main culprits include a huge slump in sales of diesel-powered vehicles - a vital part of JLR's business in the U.K. and throughout Europe - along with fears about how the upcoming "Brexit" will affect business operations. In the HuffPost UK story, one worker called the situation "disgusting" and "embarrassing," adding that people at the factory now know whether they, or their colleagues, are soon due to lose their job.
