Lamborghini Aventador goes floral to match LeBron's new Nikes

If you're in Miami and want to rent some exotic wheels, the folks over at Lou La Vie can hook you up with a Ferrari, a Porsche or a Rolls-Royce, among the dozen exotics they have on offer. You might think that someone with as much cash and flash as LeBron James may not need their services - in fact he gave away the car he got when he was named MVP - but the Miami Heat power forward has turned to Lou La Vie for a special ride to match his shoes.
Crafted in partnership with Nike, Toys for Boys Miami and Rich B Caliente, this one-off Lamborghini Aventador Roadster is the recipient of a special floral print to match the pattern on the inside of the new LeBron 11 kicks. The car was unveiled last night at a private event in Miami (which you can see in the minute-long video below) where the shoes were launched for the first time. Lets just hope that, after lacing up his new kicks, LeBron doesn't try to jump this Lambo at speed like Kobe (sorta) did with that Aston Martin.

1990 Lamborghini LM002 roars into Jay Leno's Garage

High-performance SUVs have become fairly common in recent years, with vehicles like the Land Rover Range Rover Sport SVR, Mercedes-AMG G65, and plenty of others to fill the niche. However, the Lamborghini LM002 was arguably the segment's pioneer when it debuted decades ago. Jay Leno welcomes one of these Italian beasts into his garage in a new video, and this thing is fascinating to see on the road. The LM002 is a wonderfully incongruous vehicle. The exterior has a brutish collection of chiseled features, but there's a high-output 5.2-liter V12 from the Countach under the hood. Leno says that the "Rambo Lambo" sounds "like an Italian opera," and he lets the big engine sing several times during the clip. Leno praises the way the Lambo drives, but the LM002 ownership experience sounds difficult. According to guest Damiano Barbuscia, replacement tires are eye-wateringly expensive, and the V12 gulps down fuel. Apparently, the appropriate gift to give for the 45th anniversary of almost anything is a blue sapphire stone. I cannot imagine Autoblog readers craving a story about that, so I'm glad that Italdesign Giugiaro spared me that gig and instead created this truly interesting Parcour concept to mark its 45th anniversary.
Parcour is named after the generally urban activity of French origin (spelled "parkour"), of throwing one's (presumably) agile body off walls and railings in an anti-gravity freestyle momentum ballet. This sometimes ends up being broadcast on YouTube, particularly to show a parkour session gone horribly wrong, with the star taking a metal banister in the cojones or receiving a fetching bouquet of twisted fingers. Clearly design boss at Giugiaro, Fabrizio Giugiaro (son of legend Giorgetto), and his squad had more coordinated good parkour-ing in mind when they let me drive their cool creation on the island of Sardinia. (I live not far away, so it's a one-hour flight with the herds on a low-cost airline.)
