2008 LAMBORGHINI MURCIELAGO LP640 ROADSTER

This vehicle has been part of our fleet since late last summer and has been an awesome ride that a lot of people enjoy.

It was previously owned by celebrity Rick Ross and can be seen in many of his personal pictures as well as his music videos for himself and his musicians under him. And since then the car has been used in several videos by other companies and music labels during our ownership.

This car has been driven. It is not a trailer queen. A lot of customization's have been done to it which to name a few are:

- Custom Matte Black Paint Job & 3D Carbon Accents
- High Spoiler also done in 3D Carbon
- Double Din Touchscreen Radio
- Two amplifiers mounted in the Trunk
- Subwoofer behind the Passenger Seat
- Carbon Interior Highlights
- Custom 5 Angle Tipped Straight Exhaust
- ADV Rims in Gloss Black
- Custom Skid Plates on the Front Bumper

As far as maintenance is concerned the car has been taken care of and most recently the following has been performed:

- New Rear Tires
- New Radio
- 4 New Fuel Injectors
- New Clutch
- New E-Gear Actuator
- 2 New Coil Packs
- Front Diff Oil Change
- Engine Oil Change
- New E-Brake Calipers and Pads
- New Front Axle
- New Alternator

The car does have the check engine light on because of the modified exhaust system. Also, the rear Vent Flaps only one side works so we have opted to leave them in the UP position since most people like them that way anyway. And the power door locks for some reason are not working. Oh and the Roadster top has some wear and tear from being on and off the car a lot and it has been repaired in the past from flying off but it still does the job when you might get poured on.

Its a great car with a clean and clear title. A lot of work has been done to it and it was owned by celebrity Rick Ross which does make it an interesting conversation piece.

Please do not ask me about financing. I am a private owner and you must find your own financing. NO TRADES. We reserve the right to remove this listing at any time as the vehicle is available
outside of Ebay Motors.

More pictures will be available and uploaded next week as the car is in for service and that will be the earliest time I will be able to get the photos uploaded.

Lamborghini trying its best to keep new Cabrera under wraps

Thu, 12 Dec 2013

The Gallardo was far and away Lamborghini's most successful model. Over the course of ten years, the Bolognese automaker sold some 14,000 of them. As the Gallardo has now reached the end of its production cycle, Lamborghini is hard at work developing its replacement, and these are the latest spy shots of the work in progress.
Now wearing swirly camouflage instead of the flat-black wrap spied on previous prototypes, this latest version is our best glimpse yet at the supercar expected to be called Cabrera. Despite the more disguising wrap, though, the contrast between bodywork and air vents is more evident - particularly between the side window and the rear wheel, where this prototype appears to be sporting a panel similar in appearance to the "side blade" on the Audi R8 (with whose replacement the Cabrera is expected to share much). However, this is more likely a bit of disguise to throw us off the scent. Don't be thrown by the headlamp treatment, either. It may look like a Photoshop product, but our photographers on the ground tell us these translucent screens are just another diversion - as if you couldn't tell this was a Lambo from a mile away.
As for technical details, we're still expecting a reworked version of the outgoing model's 5.2-liter V10 driving all four wheels, only retuned to the tune of 600 horsepower. A dual-clutch gearbox (similar to the excellent unit newly installed in the R8) is tipped to transmit the power instead of the six-speed manual or robotized gearboxes in the outgoing Gallardo or the rapid but unrefined ISR transmission in the Aventador. Expect weight to be trimmed thanks to Lamborghini's further experimentation with carbon fiber production techniques, helping the Cabrera do better than hold its own with newer, fresher competition like the Ferrari 458 Italia and McLaren 12C.

Lamborghini chief stands by V12s

Tue, Jul 26 2016

Despite the push for fuel efficiency and low carbon emissions, the V12 is still a staple of high performance. Ferrari, Mercedes-Benz, Aston Martin, and yes, Lamborghini maintain fleets of these monstrous dinosaur engines. And for the final entry on that list, that's not going to change. Lamborghini CEO Stefano Domenicali sat down with Autocar and explained in no uncertain terms that his company will continue to offer V12s for the time being. "Our major customers and dealers around the world say: 'Please do not touch the V12'," Domenicali told Autocar. "So we will continue to work in that direction." But there's more than just customer demand driving Lambo's V12 loyalty. According to Domenicali, the company's niche is small enough to weather V12-ruining storms. "In the short term, there is still a lot of development potential in the V12," Domenicali told Autocar. "Of course, we need to understand what the market is doing in terms of emissions and legislation, but I don't see that will be a problem. We are always very open to how the market might evolve." That evolution, lately, has tended toward electrification. The flagship of Lambo's arch-nemesis Ferrari pairs a 12-cylinder engine with a hybrid system for blistering performance. Then there's the stuff happening with the V8-powered Porsche 918 Spyder and McLaren P1. These three hybrids are in an entirely different and more potent performance (and price) class than Lamborghini's hottest model, the Aventador LP750-4 SV. Hybrids are the future of performance, for Lamborghini included... Eventually. "We cannot be disconnected to the world of the future but we want to be balanced," Domenicali said. "We need to make sure that as soon as the technology of electrification is relevant to our car at a cost level, and will add value, we are flexible to shift in that direction." Finally, Domenicali addressed advanced connectivity systems while parrying Autocar's question about autonomous vehicles. "If you own a Lamborghini, you want to have the passion of driving it and we need to keep that. But new technology could have some relevance to the driver. For example, if you are on a race track, you could have a head-up display which shows you how to maximize your performance [around a corner], using the telemetry we have now," Domenicali told AC. "That's an approach where I see that technology could be very useful for our customer." Related Video:

Lamborghini files for trademark on Egoista name

Wed, Dec 2 2015

Lamborghini has reportedly filed to register a trademark for the name Egoista. The name was previously used on an outrageous one-off, single-seater concept revealed in 2013. While the trademark application doesn't necessarily mean the concept will be put into production, it certainly bodes well. Fans of the marque will recall that the Lamborghini Egoista surfaced in May 2013 as a birthday present from the automaker to itself on the occasion of its 50th anniversary. The radical design penned by Walter De Silva was inspired by helicopter gunships and featured a single solitary seat under a canopy, giving the one-of-a-kind creation its "selfish" name. Motivation (were it ever let out onto the street) came from a 5.2-liter V10 like the one in the Gallardo and Huracan, optimized to the tune of 600 horsepower. The Egoista was never displayed at any auto shows, going straight to the museum in Sant'Agata Bolognese at the entrance to the company's factory and headquarters. At the time of its creation, Lamborghini said that "the Egoista is pure emotion, Never Never Land, which no one can ever possess, and which will always remain a dream, for everyone." The reported filing of the trademark application would ostensibly suggest a change of heart on Lambo's part, or at least that it could be entertaining the use of the name for some application beyond the concept that's now two and a half years old. One can dream, at any rate. Related Video:
