First If you are not familiar with the differences between a standard 2006 and earlier Murcielago and the 2007 and
later LP640 models, the differences are significant and not just extra HP. This is the first model year when the
Audi influence becomes apparent. The entire vehicle is highly refined and for the first time becomes a super car
that can also be a daily driver. This particular LP640 is heavily optioned starting with its Balloon White paint
that is a $6500 option. The E Gear, a $10,000 option, if paddle shifting at an entirely new level. It makes
shifting completely effortless and still allows you to grab a handful of neck breaking horse power in a fraction of
a second. The transparent engine bonnet enables full view of the beautiful carbon laden engine compartment and is
well worth the $7020 price tag and the yellow brake calipers are a nice touch($805). The interior does not
disappoint and has the optional Q-Citura trim ($2100), leather roof lining($1040), Branding package($650) and last
but not least the Carbon Package($6500). This LP640 is also equipped with a top of the line in dash navigation
system with upgraded stereo. This LP640 has been tastefully upgraded with GFG 19" wheels up front and 20" in back.
Both wrapped with nearly new Pirelli P-Zeros. The only other upgrade was the addition of a custom bent, Super Car
Specialist stage 2 exhaust system. I love this car and this white on black color combination is the perfect
compliment to the striking geometry of this Italian masterpiece.
I love this car and hate to have to part with it. Unfortunately I am relocating outside the U.S. and the roads at
my next location are far from suitable for this fine vehicle. All service has been done in Dallas Texas by Norwood
Autocraft.

A dealer made a 'Urus' out of an Audi Q7 to get people excited for Lambo's SUV

Fri, Dec 16 2016

Fake news seems to be catching on. In an attempt to drum up some interest in the upcoming Lamborghini Urus (the Italian SUV that hasn't been unveiled yet) the Lamborghini dealer in Nurnberg, Germany, created a Lambo-badged promotional vehicle. It seems it has fooled at least a few folks, with several outlets reporting on it as if it's a Lamborghini prototype. Of course, it's not. What you're looking at is an Audi Q7 with a camouflage wrap that includes a Lamborghini-script logo across the back and a promotional message on the side, which reads: "Der Urus kommt / Lamborghini Nurnberg." Thanks to one semester of German, we can tell you that first part means "The Urus is coming." Note, that's "is coming," not "is here." There's also something that kind of resembles a scoop on the front fender. It's also fake. It's not uncommon for automakers to put a cryptic message on the side of a test car, often with swirly camo, but this takes the idea a step further since it's not the actual car underneath. That said, the production Urus, whenever it arrives, is expected to share the Audi Q7's MLB 2 platform. So it sort of works. Kind of. World's Best Dad invites Lamborghini owners to son's birthday party

Tue, 29 Apr 2014

The resulting unalloyed joy, as you'll see in the footage below, is priceless.
One of my defining moments as a budding car enthusiast came the first time I got to see a Lamborghini up close. I was out in Los Angeles visiting a relative with my mother and sister, and I took the change of scenery as an opportunity to look for more exotic cars than my middle-class Midwestern upbringing would usually encounter. We were on a walk, when off in the distance I saw - and heard - something extraordinary: An early '80s Lamborghini Countach, black with those bronze five-hole wheels, pulling into a parking spot. My mom still takes great joy in periodically retelling the events of that day, and as the story goes, I joyfully took off without warning, chasing the car down the street shouting "Lamborghini!" "Lamborghini!!" in my best eight-year-old Italian accent.

This incredible life-size Lamborghini Aventador is made out of paper

Sun, 08 Sep 2013

We've all screwed around with the cutting and folding fun that results from paper model making over here at the Autoblog Craft Workshop (not a real thing), but we've yet to dive into a project with real scale. Thankfully, dedicated hobbyists the world over are taking care of the heavy lifting for us on this front.
Years back we brought you images of an Epson team mid-build with a full-scale Honda NSX racecar, and that project might still be the granddaddy of the genre (though this Audi A7 and this Bugatti Veyron are pretty good, too). But the Lamborghini Aventador police interceptor model seen here, measuring eight-feet long, is right up there. Gaming fans will recognize the Need For Speed inspiration for the wood pulp Lambo, and after watching the fast-motion video of the entire build process we should all be able to recognize the hard work that went into the car's completion.
Taras Lesko is the designer behind this mammoth paper project; you can read a bit of detail about what went into the build on his website, or you can scroll down to watch it for yourself.
