$100,000 reward offered to help recover stolen Lamborghini

Have you seen this Lamborghini? If so, Pinkerton wants to hear from you. And if your information leads to the recovery of the vehicle in question, the private detective agency could give you a reward of $100,000. According to Pinkerton, the white 2015 Lamborghini Aventador roadster was stolen in New York on October 28. It was last seen at the corner of Fowler Road and College Point Boulevard in the Flushing neighborhood of Queens, but the agency says it could have been spirited away to Atlanta – or even sent overseas. Pinkerton is asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of this vehicle to call 1-800-478-3403. The $100,000 reward being offered in exchange amounts to less than a quarter of the vehicle's $440k purchase price – which is what the insurance agency would surely have to pay out if the vehicle is not recovered. Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster gets chilly shakedown

It was only days ago that Lamborghini gave the Aventador Superveloce its official debut at the Geneva Motor Show, but apparently the Italian brand has been hard at work on the next variant too. For those that want a 740-horsepower, 6.5-liter V12 singing a sweet song just behind their ears with the top down, then Lambo is testing an SV Roadster in the arctic. While the model is wearing copious camouflage and some very cool spotlights, the removable roof panel is still fairly obvious in several of these spy photos. Beyond the top, it doesn't look like Lambo is doing much to the body design, though. All of the pieces here can also be found on the SV coupe. There's no word when the SV Roadster might debut. Although with the standard model already complete, development of the convertible probably shouldn't take too long. The official unveiling might even be before the end of the year, especially with the coupe beginning sales in Europe in the spring. Lamborghini Aventador LP720-4 50 Anniversario Edition leaked

As part of the celebration of its 50th anniversary, Lamborghini has created a new version of its Aventador called the LP720-4 50 Anniversario Edition, and images of the black and yellow machine have leaked out online ahead of its official unveiling at the Shanghai Motor Show.
Looking past the bumblebee-spec paint, this Lambo will boast 710 horsepower - or 720 metric horses, which explains its mouthful of a moniker - to go along with an estimated 0 to 62 time of just 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 217 miles per hour. All that speed will be managed by a special carbon fiber aero kit that is reportedly 50 percent more efficient than before.
A report from Carscoops indicate that the Italian automaker will build 100 examples of this anniversary-edition Aventador, though how many of them will be painted in this arresting Giallo Maggio color we don't know.
