GoPro checks out Tokyo's automotive night life in 4K

There's something bizarrely fascinating about Japanese car culture, especially around Tokyo. The metropolis packs people tightly together in a way that would seem to make owning any car tough. And yet, there's still enough enthusiasm around anything with an engine to support everything from wildly tuned bosozoku rides with exhaust pipes reaching toward the sky to seriously fast Porsche and Lamborghini models. To promote its latest Hero4 camera, GoPro has embarked on a short film series called Adventure of Life in 4K, and the latest installment goes inside Japan's speed scene with some gorgeous cinematography of vibrant vehicles rocketing through the city. It's all mixed over more serene images of Tokyo landscapes that combine to form a mini-documentary that's a feast for the eyes. Rear-wheel-drive Lamborghini Huracan coming to LA

We've got an invite to attend a "Lamborghini global product debut" in Los Angeles, and if an Autocar report is legit, it looks like that new car will be a rear-wheel-drive version of the Huracan. Despite touting all-wheel drive across its model range, Lamborghini did offer a rear-drive version of the Gallardo – the Huracan's predecessor – so a two-wheel-drive version of the new car makes a whole lot of sense. Autocar believes the RWD Huracan will be a lighter, more hardcore version of the already-good coupe. This new model is also tipped to be a limited-production car. The two-wheel-drive Gallardo was limited to just 250 units worldwide, and the same could be in store for this Huracan. Also, remember that Lamborghini does technically already make a rear-wheel-drive version of the Huracan: the LP 620-2 Super Trofeo racecar. What's more, Autocar says that Lamborghini could offer a rear-drive version of the topless Huracan LP 610-4 Spyder. Seems like an easy thing to do, especially if this RWD Huracan is, in fact, a more powerful, lightweight take on the entry-level Lambo. Blue Lamborghini Aventador flamb'ees eyeballs on New York City school run

Regardless of how unsure we are of the back story in this video, we don't doubt how cool it would be to get picked up from [insert place here] in a Lamborghini Aventador. In this case, the driver says he picks up his former neighbor's daughter from New York-area high school in an Aventador, and with most of us heading to the Big Apple tomorrow for the New York Auto Show, we're wondering if this guy might be available to shuttle us from the airport to the hotel. It never hurts to ask.
After picking her up, they then head for a quick tour of Times Square with a trio of GoPro cameras recording the whole thing... missing out on a great opportunity to catch about five minutes of Aventador exhaust note, the video, for some reason, pipes in some awful background music. What is entertaining are the reactions that people have to seeing the car - whether from kids or adults - as the car has a magnificently beautiful Azure Blue paint job.
