Lamborghini Asterion leaked in print ahead of Paris debut

The first purportedly leaked images from an Italian magazine of Lamborghini's new vehicle for the Paris Motor Show are on the web, and they closely echo the model's silhouette from the teaser. However, there's no official mention of a name to confirm that this is being called the Asterion, as rumored.
The profile image (right) definitely suggests this is the same model that Lamborghini is previewing for Paris. It features the same slightly arcing hood and roof, and it has a rear air intake behind the door. The shape also seems to support the belief that this concept has a 2+2 seating arrangement to echo earlier Lambo models like Espada.
According to Autoblog.nl, which has posted the images, the vehicle may use a hybrid V10 with three electric motors to produce in the neighborhood of 900 horsepower. Furthermore, it claims that this might be just one of two concepts that Lamborghini is bringing to the Paris show. For now it's still a mystery, but all should be revealed on October 2 for the vehicle's unveiling.

Taxi! Lamborghini Huracan granted cab license in the UK

If you've ever thought cab rides take forever, this could be a solution: The Wolverhampton City Council just granted a taxi license to a company offering rides in an eye-searingly green Lamborghini Huracan. The supercar is the first of its kind to get such a license in the United Kingdom. The company keeping the Huracan, Special Wedding Cars, has used a white 2005 Gallardo for special occasions, as well as London taxis and doubledecker buses. But the cab license issued for the Huracan means it can be used for any journey. The Huracan can top 200 miles per hour, but even when stuck in traffic, it's a better place to spend time than any old Ford with a tree-shaped air freshener and vinyl seat covers. The Huracan would need a bunch of fare stickers and some decorative dents to make it fit in with the rest of the taxi cab fleet. Swedish man bests Kobe Bryant by jumping speeding Lambo

Way back in 2008, Los Angeles Lakers' shooting guard Kobe Bryant created a minor uproar with a viral video filmed and released by Nike. In it, the 16-time NBA all-star vaulted a moving Aston Martin. The promotional plug of the whole thing was that Bryant's ups were courtesy of his new Nikes, although he later admitted that "Hollywood" had a big part in the video.
This new video is allegedly real, though, and comes without the help of a promotional plug for a basketball shoe. It stars a Swedish man named Al the Jumper. Rather than an Aston Martin, Al jumps a Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera, which is heading right for him at 80 miles per hour. It is, if it's as real as claimed, a very impressive feat, especially after seeing how handily Al clears the Lambo.
