Leno's Lamborghini Espada is a freshly restored super-wagon

To give you a sense of why we love Jay Leno, outside of just his taste in cars and ability to preserve so many of them, is that he didn't always have a massive warehouse full of exotics. At one point during his 30-year ownership of this 1969 Lamborghini Espada, it was his only car. Now it has somewhere north of 100k miles on it (he doesn't know exactly because the odometer stopped working at one point – go figure!), and it's still driving great. Leno claims he have it a mechanical refresh about 10 years ago, mostly to clean up some dodgy wiring, and it is fresh out of a cosmetic refresh to address some rust bubbles in the quarters. The V12 is healthy – Leno credits that to letting it warm up before setting off – and it sounds phenomenal. Other than some minor upgrades, like a modern air conditioning system and some added sound insulation, it's mechanically stock. Inside, there's plenty of room for four adults, and Leno's large frame fits just fine in the driver's seat. The Espada set Leno back $26,000 in 1986, when he considered buying a Ferrari 330 GTC. The Ferrari was $2,500 more, so he picked the Lamborghini. Now, that 330 GTC is a $1m+ car, and the Espada? Not so much, although they are appreciating. Zagato rolls out second Lamborghini 5-95 in yellow

Unless you live in one of the supercar capitals of the world, seeing a Lamborghini on the street is a rare opportunity. Even the Gallardo, of which Lamborghini produced over 14,000 to go down as the most prolific Raging Bull in the marque's history, is still far from an everyday sight. But at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este a few months ago – just shortly after the reveal of the new Huracan – Zagato presented an even more exotic version of the Gallardo. It's called the 5-95, and if features substantially overhauled coachwork that contemporizes the Raptor concept which the two Italian firms presented at the Geneva Motor Show in 1996. Rumors immediately began to circulate that Zagato would build a short run of these rebodied Gallardos, and here we have the evidence: the second 5-95, pictured at the Zagato factory in Milan. Wearing a more Lamborghini-like pearl yellow paintjob, this second of five 5-95s said to be in the pipeline looks more akin to the Cala concept of 1995 designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro at Italdesign. There's no telling who the customer is or how much he paid to get his hands on this rare bull, but you can bet it cost considerably more than a Gallardo or Huracan, even with the premiums customers are said to be paying for them these days.

Justin Bieber arrested for possible DUI, drag racing [w/video, UPDATE]

Pop star Justin Bieber was arrested early this morning in Miami Beach, FL with TMZ.com listing his charges as including driving under the influence, drag racing, resisting arrest and driving on an expired license. TMZ says that Bieber was stopped for street racing his Lamborghini Gallardo, then failing a field sobriety test, and is being charged with resisting arrest for "refusing to take his hands out of his pockets."
It's also being reported that Bieber was racing against rapper Khalil (also arrested) who seems to have been driving a Ferrari 16M Scuderia Spider (although it was mistakenly called a "red Lambo" in the article). There is no additional information about the arrest of either men, but TMZ has obtained eyewitness video, which is posted below, that shows Bieber in his Lamborghini surrounded by fans and then later shows the car stopped by police officers.
UPDATE: As it turns out, the cars in question didn't actually belong to either Bieber or Khalil. We just received an email that indicates that both the Ferrari and the Lamborghini involved in the incident were rentals. The president of Lou La Vie, an exotic car rental outfit in Miami, is claiming ownership of both vehicles, though didn't provide any other significant information regarding the case.
