2008 Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera Carbon Ceramics + Nav + Lnb Exhaust on 2040-cars
New Albany, Ohio, United States
2008 Lamborghini Superleggera finished in Grigio Telesto exterior with black Alcantara interior. The SL is powered by a 5.0L V10 producing 530HP with a 6 speed E-gear transmission. This car is nearly loaded with every factory option besides homelink and a fire extinguisher. It is equipped with Carbon Ceramic Brakes, Navigation, Carbon Fiber Interior, Carbon Fiber Exterior (including large wing), Rear Backup Camera, & Superleggera Floor Mats. I have also installed a few tasteful mods which include an LNB exhaust, Fabspeed bypass pipes, tinted windows, upgraded steering wheel, and also lowered the car. The SL is also wrapped with a clear bra in the front and a portion of the rear to help protect the finish. This Superleggera is 1 of 172 in the US for 2008 and 1 of 34 in this color. I’m the second owner of the car and purchased it in Aug 2012 with 8000 miles. I had the car fully inspected and properly detailed at delivery. I also changed the fluids and put a new set of Michelin Pilot Super Sports on all four corners. The clutch snap showed approx. 30% remaining at that time. Over the last couple of years the car has always been garaged, professionally maintained, and detailed. I have all service records and receipts from the time I purchased the car. Please feel free to send a message if you would like any

Jay Leno's Garage gets agrarian with Lamborghini tractor
Mon, 24 Dec 2012Stepping away from the trendy and arcane, the next guest in Jay Leno's Garage is a 1968-69 Lamborghini R485 tractor. In case there's anyone who doesn't know, the same Ferruccio Lamborghini ultimately responsible for giving us the Aventador started off making tractors in his native Italy after World War II.
The specs are a long way from anything we'd expect from the company's road-going products. The vineyard and orchard tractor has a 5.0-liter, four-cylinder engine that produces 85 horsepower and 350 foot-pounds of torque, a two-foot clutch and 12 forward gears that get it from 0.3 miles per hour to 14 mph. It's also got a starter motor from a Countach.
There's a whole lot more interesting info on the farm implement, the man who built it and the man who currently owns it in the episode below.
2013 Lamborghini Aventador LP720-4 50 Anniversario is indeed worth celebrating
Sat, 20 Apr 2013Here is the Giallo Maggio candle that carries the flame of Lamborghini's 50th anniversary: the
Aventador LP720-4 50 Anniversario Edition. There will be just 100 of them produced, each one in the buttery hue that has been the most popular color among the Lamborghini palette since the Miura arrived in 1966.
This limited-edition Aventador gets 20 more horsepower than the standard car for a total of 720 horses, and there's a new aerodynamics package to keep all of them planted on the ground. Inside, there's new leather in colors tied to the Bolognese home of Lamborghini: Terra Emilia brown or Giallo Quercus yellow, and black. A new diamond type of stitching also sets it apart from any other Aventador out there.
Details emerge on production-bound Lamborghini Sesto Elemento
Tue, 08 Jan 2013The last we heard about the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento, Lamborghini had confirmed its production with only 20 examples of the track-only car planned, but now we're finally starting to get some of the details about this knife-edged car. AutoVisie recently had the chance to talk to Maurizio Reggiani, Director of R&D at Lamborghini, who not only confirmed what will power the new car, he also said that the production version will carryover almost untouched from what we saw in concept form at the 2010 Paris Motor Show.
What we now know is that the Sesto Elemento will share the same powertrain as the Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera including the 570-horsepower V10 and the all-wheel-drive system, and it will be built at a new factory dedicated to building prototypes and limited-volume cars like this. Also, the report states a curb weight of 2,200 pounds, a top speed of 320 kilometers per hour (198 miles per hour) and a 0-100 kph (0-62) time of just 2.5 seconds. The only changes made to bring the concept to production were to increase the car's rigidity and its safety. This means the car will still feature all-carbon-fiber construction and unique bucket seats that are actually built into the car's body; driver adjustments coming from the steering wheel and pedals.
The estimated price for the Sesto Elemento is two million euros, or around $2.6 million US, and although the original production date was slated for early 2013, Motor Authority now says that we'll have to wait for another "year or two" to see this car in the wild. Also, it does not appear that this is the mystery car recently teased in a 50th anniversary video released by Lamborghini.
