2005 Lamborghini Gallardo 20k Miles E-gear Carbon Fiber Coupe Awd 5.0 on 2040-cars
Faribault, Minnesota, United States
SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY! Sorry, No Trades and we don't finance. We have the Minnesota PRIOR SALVAGE title in hand and its ready to sign over to you today. No liens on this car either. We are a licensed and insured Minnesota dealer. THIS CAR HAS BEEN INSPECTED BY THE STATE OF MINNESOTA AND IT PASSED. PLEASE WATCH MY VIDEO FOR A FULL WALK AROUND OF THIS CAR http://youtu.be/K1HGqJaYg0E I don't have a clue how much clutch life is left either. I asked the place that scanned for the ABS codes to see if they could read the clutch and they told me their computer wouldn't be able to tell them how much clutch life is left. I don't have a clue what happened in the accident, but I found 3 pictures on the internet of this car the night the crash happened and these are the only 3 pics that I have from that night. as you can also see in those pics, this car had a vehicle wrap on it that has since been removed. There are some abs lights on the dash and I took this car to the only place in Minnesota that is able to read codes in a Lamborghini and they told me that the car is not getting any signal from the right rear wheel. they thought it might be an abs sensor or something like that. they did replace the right rear wheel speed sensor to see if that would do anything and it didn't stop the light from flashing. however this place that I took it to is NOT a Lamborghini dealer and they were not able to scan the car like a lambo dealer could. they also said that the car just needs a new download in the abs control module just so it will learn the right rear wheel in the ABS module. We let these cars sell them self. If for any reason you feel its to much of a risk to bid on this car with out seeing it in person first, then you are more then welcome to contact any shop near me (at your cost) and i will be more then happy to take this car to any shop of your choice for a 3rd party inspection. I do what i can to provide you with all the information i have so it will help you make the best decision you can make. I do my best to be as honest and upfront as i can be. There is nothing wrong with buying a salvage title car, however you will always get the car for less money then a clean title car. Usually you can buy that car for about 70-75% of clean title value, however that number can go up or down depending on supply and demand. Clearly a car like this might be a bit more on the high side, and yet a dodge neon with a salvage title might be a bit more on the low side. Either way, the biggest thing you should know about any salvage title car is the history and how bad the accident was. Current Title, The current title is a MINNESOTA PRIOR SALVAGE title. Please check with your state before bidding. Other state's might require something different, so please check before you bid. All sales are final. We will provide you with a bill of sale, title, repair receipts, ect. You shouldn't need anything more then what I listed above, but if there is, let us know and we will do our best to get you anything you need to get this vehicle inspected in your home state. Att: Minnesota buyers, You will be charged sales tax at a rate of 6.5%, plus plates, tabs, and title transfer fees. You will be provided with a 21 day permit to drive this vehicle right away, and then we will get the plates for you and they will be mailed to you or you can pick this up if you are local. Att: Non-Minnesota buyers, You will NOT be charged any added fees. You will owe the exact amount of your final bid and that's all. You will also need to check with your local DMV to check the process of transferring a prior salvage title in your home state before you bid. You will be given a 31day permit to drive this vehicle home, but after that, you are on your own. You should be able to take the title to your dmv and get it transferred and get plates right away and not be required to do an inspection since it already passed a Minnesota inspection, but some states might have a different process that you need to go though, so please check that out before you bid. Shipping, Shipping is at Buyers expense. If you can't come pick this up in person and you want us to ship it for you, we can set that up. Clearly the farther away you are, the more it's going to cost. Average shipping costs are about $150 in Minnesota, $300 in upper Midwest, $500 to outer Midwest (Texas,Ohio,Montana,Colorado), and coastal areas are about $700-$900. Depending on where you are, it could take anywhere from 2 to 8 business days before you receive this vehicle. If you want this to be shipped in an enclosed trailer then you can expect to pay about 50% more then the quotes listed above. Deposit, After this auction ends, we will need a $500 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit with in 24hrs of the end of this auction. If you come here and decide that you don't want to buy the vehicle for whatever reason, we will refund $300 of that deposit and keep $200. However if you never show up, then we will keep all the $500. Deposit can be Cash in person only, Pay Pal, Certified Bank Check, or a Bank Wire Transfer. Total Balance Due, Any remaining balance must be paid with in 5 business days of the end of the auction. This balance can ONLY be paid with a bank wire transfer ONLY! Sorry but due to the high dollar amount on this car, we will require that you pay the balance with a bank wire transfer. WE WILL NOT SELL TO SOMEONE OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES UNLESS YOU CAN PAY AMERICAN CASH IN PERSON WHEN YOU COME TO PICK UP THE CAR. |

Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 SV Roadster drops its top at the Quail
Fri, Aug 14 2015The highly anticipated droptop version of the Lamborghini Aventador LP 570-4 SuperVeloce is here, debuting Friday at the Quail Motorsports Gathering as part of Monterey Car Week. The story here is pretty simple – take one Aventador SV and remove the roof – but the end result is a highly exclusive, truly outstanding supercar. "The Roadster version represents our commitment to satisfying our passionate clients with immensely emotional driving dynamics combined with an extraordinary open air experience," says Lamborghini boss Stephan Winkelmann. For the SuperVeloce, output is 6.5-liter V12 is increased to 750 horsepower, and dry weight is reduced 110 pounds, to 3,472, compared to the standard Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster. Hitting 60 miles per hour takes less than three seconds, and the roadster will top out at over 217 mph. Removing the roof is the same as the non-SV Roadster. There are two roof panels, each weighing 13 pounds, that stow nicely inside the luggage compartment. The power rear window goes down, as well, to let in all that awesome V12 Lambo growl. Only 500 examples of the Aventador SV Roadster will be made. The first cars will be delivered early next year, retailing for $530,075 in the United States. Of course, if you have the means, then by all means. The Roadster version represents our commitment to satisfying our passionate clients with immensely emotional driving dynamics combined with an extraordinary open air experience,'' Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini said during the press conference at The Quail. As a member of Lamborghini's storied Superveloce family, the car offers greater performance with a power increase of 50 hp to 750 hp and a dry weight of 1,575 kg (3,472 lb), that is 50 kg (110 lbs) lighter compared to the Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster.
Charity supercar run results in 3 Lamborghinis going up in flames
Sat, 07 Dec 2013A charity drive in Singapore went quite awry when a convoy of Lamborghinis smashed into each other on one of the city-state's highways, with one of the cars catching fire. And while it's easy to assume that the supercars were at fault, initial reports contradict that assumption.
It turns out the crash was a chain reaction set off by a local driver swerving toward two Gallardos and an Aventador, sending the latter into the guard rail and causing it to go up in flames. According to the report on CarBuzz, there were no injuries in the incident, although the circumstances - super cars burning in the midst of a charity event - draw some parallels to the tragic accident involving Paul Walker and Roger Rodas.
There's a short video taken after the wreck that can be viewed below. CarBuzz also has a few different images of the accident, aside from the screencap shown above.
eBay Find of the Day: 1992 Minardi-Lamborghini M191L
Wed, 16 Oct 2013Think of Italian Formula One teams and Ferrari is first and foremost to come to mind. But the Prancing Horse team is not the only game in town. What is today known as Scuderia Toro Rosso was once, and for two decades, known as Minardi. And for one (unfortunately unsuccessful) season, it was powered by Lamborghini.
That season was 1992, when Christian Fittipaldi (Emerson's nephew) drove for the team, substituted by Alex Zanardi for a few races and teamed up with Gianni Morbidelli - the Italian driver who just took the Superstars championship this past weekend.
Alongside the Modena team it supplied the year before (to even less success), the Minardi partnership was one of only two Italian teams which the F1 division established at Lamborghini under Chrysler ownership would motivate power. It yielded a sixth-place finish at the Japanese Grand Prix as its best result, but the coupling of an Italian engine in an Italian chassis is what makes it stand out in history. Valentino Balboni drove it for demonstration events at Road Atlanta and Sebring, and now that car is up for auction on eBay Motors.
