2004 Lamborghini Gallardo Manual, Service Records, Clear Bonnet $35k+ In Add Ons on 2040-cars
Belmar, New Jersey, United States
Hello everyone. Up for sale is my 2004 Arancio Borealis 6 Speed Manual Lamborghini Gallardo. I have tastefully finished this car, and all you need to do is enjoy it. I don't think you'll find a cleaner gallardo with up to date maintenance, story free with all the tasteful mods already done. My Gallardo also doesn't need a clutch like most the ones for sale out there ALL PPIs are welcome! I have spent 35K+ into this car over the past few years. I am simply selling this car to make the purchase of my second home a little smoother. I do not need to sell this car nor am I in a rush. I am located in New Jersey along the shore. Pictures were just taken and how the car currently sits. Sorry for the crappy cell phone quality pictures & glare! I encourage anyone to stop by and take a look at the car. Sorry no joy rides. I can assist with shipping, however you will need to set everything up on your end first. Any questions, please send me a message through ebay and I'll reply with my contact information!!! All maintenance are up to date. The car needs nothing. Just completed my 30K major service completed a few weeks ago at Corsa Motors: Corsa Motors (201) 569-0065 at the end of May 2014. Feel free to talk to Cosmos if you have any questions on the car. The car was maintained by Stephen @ Arena motors over the years. No expense was spared. All service records available upon request. Lamborghini Asterion could still see showrooms
Wed, Dec 17 2014At the 2014 Paris Motor Show, Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann told Maxim after the introduction of the stunning Asterion hybrid, "I strongly believe that this is not a car that will be in production, and we will not do it." However, the Asterion concept came more than a year after Winklemann told that same magazine, at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, that "Lamborghini was not interested in hybrids." He repeated the sentiment in Paris, saying, "We're still not interested." Well, someone at Lamborghini (or the Volkswagen Group?) does appear to be interested. The company's head of R&D, Maurizio Reggiani, told Autocar the story of the Asterion's development "started a couple of years ago" and is still being carried out in order to understand a real world hybrid application that would satisfy Lamborghini brand values – meaning electric assistance for a naturally aspirated engine with a high cylinder count. Reggiani never hints about the Asterion actually going on sale, but does tell Autocar, "The discussions inside Lamborghini now are about the potential cost of the car," and how it would be positioned. Having been told that it could sell for the price of the Aventador plus the hybrid drivetrain, Autocar figures an MSRP of 350,000 pounds ($551K US). The phrase "hybrid supercar" immediately brings three cracking coupes to mind, but the Asterion – were it to make production – wouldn't target that group; said Winklemann in that Maxim interview, "It's not meant to go on the racetrack. The acceleration is good, and the top speed, but in handling it would be out-beaten by the others. It's more a hyper-cruiser." We're fine with that, Mr. Winklemann – we think the Aston Martin Vanquish, Bentley Continental GT and Ferrari F12 Berlinetta could use the company. Bring it.
Lamborghini Miura and Countach driven back to back in bid to make Autoblog staff jealous
Wed, 20 Aug 2014For the Autoblog staff, we're in the honeymoon phase following the Monterey car week and Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. In terms of big, huge, labor-intensive events on the horizon, we're free until the beginning of October, when we'll ship off to Paris for its annual motor show. That means we're free to look back on the beautiful metal out in California, which included more than a few classic Lamborghinis, including the Miura and Countach.
Unfortunately, we never had a hope of getting behind the wheel (believe it or not, asking exceptionally wealthy car collectors to borrow their meticulously maintained, extraordinarily rare vehicles doesn't elicit immediate cooperation). Considering this grave injustice, we're left taking solace in the latest video from Car, which sees the British outlet taking spins in both the Miura and Countach. The pair of vehicles served as forbearers to the modern supercar, with the former's early mid-engine layout and the latter's aggressive, wedge-shaped styling.
Take a look at the latest video from the lucky bastards team at Car.
Lamborghini Gallardo ready to tow your Home Depot load
Mon, May 25 2015It's possible the Lamborghini Gallardo would have had an even grander reputation as an everyday exotic if more people had used it to tow trailers and lug home-renovation materials from store to workshop. That's what Canadian channel Canal Vie did to promote its new renovation show, strapping a couple of two-by-fours and a roll of insulation to the roof, and hooking up a trailer to the back of a second-generation Gallardo. The promotion had its intended effect. How could it not? People stare at a Gallardo even when it isn't hauling. With 398 foot-pounds of torque at its disposal, we wonder if you could slip a fifth-wheel on it...
