Here is a rare opportunity to purchase one of the last cars built by Ron Dolling from Ron's Toy Store Ltd. The quality of the build, craftsmanship, fit and finish is impeccable in every way. I purchased this beauty directly from Ron and had it shipped from Canada in enclosed trailer. I guarantee you you will not find a better looking car. It hurts me that I'm putting it for sale but the truth is because of my bad back, getting in and out of the car has been very difficult for me and I can rarely drive the car. It's parked in a climate controlled garage in my home under a OEM Lamborghini cover. The car is a piece of art and I love looking at it, unfortunately it will have to go to someone who can really enjoy it and drive it more often then I do.
-A 2000 Lamborghini Diablo Roadster VT replica, finished in Lambo white base coat, clear coat, and polished to a mirror finish.
-Interior finished off in beautiful lipstick red leather, matching leatherette, and black French stitching throughout as in original.
-Attention to fit and finish, and quality detail shows throughout.
-Check the gaps on all the panels: doors, hood, trunk, etc. Many hours spent on this one to make it perfect.
-Doors are perfect, open and closing are perfect, perfectly balanced gas shocks made for these doors.
-Any pieces needed for this car in the future can easily be purchased from Ron.
-This car is 100% completely finished, and needs nothing. Everything works perfectly, this is a brand new conversion.
-The exhaust sound is customized to sound like the original with a throaty sound.
-Sounds and looks great, and is 100% reliable.
A list of some of the accessories this car comes with are as follows:

World's Best Dad invites Lamborghini owners to son's birthday party

Tue, 29 Apr 2014

The resulting unalloyed joy, as you'll see in the footage below, is priceless.
One of my defining moments as a budding car enthusiast came the first time I got to see a Lamborghini up close. I was out in Los Angeles visiting a relative with my mother and sister, and I took the change of scenery as an opportunity to look for more exotic cars than my middle-class Midwestern upbringing would usually encounter. We were on a walk, when off in the distance I saw - and heard - something extraordinary: An early '80s Lamborghini Countach, black with those bronze five-hole wheels, pulling into a parking spot. My mom still takes great joy in periodically retelling the events of that day, and as the story goes, I joyfully took off without warning, chasing the car down the street shouting "Lamborghini!" "Lamborghini!!" in my best eight-year-old Italian accent.

Lamborghini Gallardo successor to rock us like a Huracan?

Fri, 13 Dec 2013

Lamborghini is expected to drop the sheet on its replacement for the Gallardo later this month (think of it as an automotive Festivus gift), which means that speculation on the new supercar's looks and performance is reaching a fever pitch. While the discussion centers on powertrains, though, we're overlooking something equally important - the car's name.
We've been operating under the impression that it would be named Cabrera, after the Detroit Tigers eight-time All-Star and Triple-Crown-winning first baseman a famous line a fighting bulls, as per Lamborghini tradition. Now comes word that Lambo might be moving away from the bovine nomenclature, based on a 2012 trademark filing for the name Huracan. (Of course, it's entirely possible that Lambo historians will dig up some dusty lineage on a fighting bull with a breezy name).
That's left some wondering if the collective auto industry has it wrong. As AutoExpress points out, though, the Huracan trademark was filed at the same time the Italian brand registered the "Urus" name for its SUV concept. During that filing, Lambo also registered the name "Deimos," so really, this should all be taken with a grain of salt.

Lamborghini profiled on 60 Minutes for 50th anniversary

Mon, 04 Nov 2013

Even though we (meaning car enthusiasts as a whole) don't spend our days driving Lamborghinis, they're somehow a familiar, known quantity. We know we'll be wowed by a Lambo, and we have a pretty fair idea of what the sound and acceleration feel like. We know a Lamborghini is going to be wildly expensive, hopelessly impractical and eye-wateringly thirsty, but the charm that comes with the badge outweighs everything else.
We also recognize that we, as enthusiasts, are in the minority, and that the average joe is likely to be far more blown away by a Raging Bull than the average gearhead. That's what makes this an entertaining video. 60 Minutes explored Lamborghini right in the midst of its fiftieth anniversary, testing a Gallardo at Imola, tearing across the roads of Italy in an Aventador and exploring the Sant'Agata factory where all the magic happens. It's a bit of a long video, but it's a really fascinating look at how the mainstream views something extreme. Take a look below for the full, 12-minute clip.
