Valet Crashes Lamborghini Outside Of Hotel

Security cameras were rolling as a valet at a swanky hotel in India crashed a Lamborghini Gallardo while trying to pull forward into a crowded driveway. In the video, the $187,000 supercar lurches forward and hits several cars and a hotel worker before careening into a wall. The hotel worker was taken to the hospital for minor injuries and released the same day, according to The Telegraph. Police are investigating the crash to determine if the hotel or the valet owes the car's owner damages. This seems like an egregious error in judgement, but valets are people too and they make mistakes. Earlier this year, a valet forgot to put the parking brake on a vehicle, which allowed it to roll into the ocean. Another valet accidentally allowed an SUV to roll down a ramp and into a wall in a parking garage. Watch two grandmas take a Lamborghini Murcielago for a spin

Not everyone loves cars enough to care if they see a tuned Lamborghini Murcielago rolling through town. But put two very excited grandmas in it, and you get a vehicle that draws attention everywhere. The ladies have an initial problem finding reverse in the Lambo, but they eventually hit the road with Peggy behind the wheel and Audrey riding shotgun. You have to love these gals. They roll the windows down to wave at everyone on the street and yell to them, "We're Lamborghini queens!" Their happiness is infectious, and people clearly are excited but a little confused to see two older women in a mean looking supercar. The only thing wrong with this video is that we wish it were longer. The gals should take the Lambo, or Ghini as Audrey calls the coupe, onto the freeway to open the throttle. Maybe they could cruise to a cars and coffee meet to hang out. Based on this clip, the pair seems game to drive the supercar anywhere.

Is Lamborghini readying a hybrid for Paris?

Lamborghini had us seriously stumped when it released its teaser (above) for a new vehicle that'll debut at the upcoming Paris Motor Show. The image seemed to depict a fastback GT somewhat reminiscent of Lambo's earlier 2+2 models like the Espada, and was accompanied by the sentence, "Once perfection is achieved, you can just double it." We're still not entirely sure what the means, but a possible leaked logo for the car might offer some big hints about its powertrain.
According to the Office of Harmonization in the Internal Market in Europe, Lamborghini applied for a trademark on the name Asterion on September 15 to cover vehicles, clothing, toys and video games. The logo (right) included a lightning bolt slashing through the 'O' in the word. That could suggest this forthcoming vehicle is a hybrid, but it's also not clear whether we're going to be hearing about a pure concept, or a production model.
The name itself might also be a tell. Asterion is one of the names for the Minotaur in Greek mythology, which is a creature that is part bull and part man. This could be another indication that the concept combines the traditional Lamborghini style with something else.
