NOTE: Vehicle Location is Santa Maria, CA 93455, USA Since I was young, I dreamed of owning a Lamborghini Countach. I finally realized that dream, many years ago...sort of. I purchased this half-built kit car and started the process of creating my own supercar. Along the way I met a whole new family of passionate friends that shared the same dreams, met countless people who just wanted to learn more, or just be close to such an exotic machine. I recently re-located my home and businesses to Los Angeles and as part of that move, my most painful loss is the fact that I need to now part with my car. I simply do not have a location to store and work on it now, and so I must sell it to someone else who can finish it and drive it. This has been a gut-wrenching decision, but hopefully this will create an opportunity for someone else to take on this project and continue the adventure! This is a Pontiac Fiero-based non-stretch chassis with an IFG Koenig Countach body. It still has the stock engine and drive train. It has no crazy engine modifications to make getting it running well a big problem. I have completely re-built the suspension system with Pro-Thane urethane bushings and and after an alignment and tighten-up will be a real smooth-mover! It has not been driven or ran for many years, so it will require a thorough mechanical inspection and cleanup before driving. I did drive it myself when I first purchased the car, then I started the process of re-building it. I had plans of pulling the engine and upgrading the engine to a v-8 which has been done many times to cars like this, but I never got that far. When I embarked on this project I decided that I wanted the experience of driving this car to be as accurate and realistic as possible of that of a real Lamborghini Countach. So the process of completely gutting the interior began. I created custom interior panels, dash board and other components to resemble the actual Lambo interior. I then started a several-year process of sourcing all-authentic Lamborghini interior parts for the the switches, indicators, selectors and other components that would create a great driving environment and convince any passer-by that this was a true super car. I work in the movie and TV industry, so I figured it should work as a picture car as well, so accuracy was important. I painstakingly re-wired the Pontiac wiring system to work with the Lamborghini switches and it's trademark pushbutton switches! No easy task, let me tell you! I spent many years and many thousand dollars finding original replacement parts for the car. I have amassed an incredible collection of exceptionally rare original Lamborghini parts that I am selling ALONG WITH this car. See this PAGE for a partial listing of everything included. This is virtually a turn-key project car that has almost everything that you need to complete the vehicle. The car has not been driven for many years and will require a basic service and mechanical check out prior to being driven. The wheels are in prefect shape, the tires are original Pirelli P-7s (exceptionally rare!) and as such are older, but have plenty of tread, though they'll likely need replacement before they get any real mileage. NOTE: This car has a CA DMV Specially Constructed Vehicle number designation which is a highly sought after designation that should allow it to be registered by its body or engine year and thus allow smog check exemption. It has not been registered since 2002 (I believe) so buyer will be responsible for all registration fees and costs associated with the title. Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo makes official debut at the Quail
Sat, 16 Aug 2014Racing fans, meet Lamborghini's newest track weapon, the Huracán LP620-2 Super Trofeo. Designed for the one-make Blancpain Super Trofeo series, the Huracán picks up where its predecessor, the Gallardo, left off.
Its engine bay is home to a ten-cylinder, much like the road-going Huracán. Unlike the coupe, the racer boasts 620 horsepower, up just ten ponies from the LP610-4. But - and as buts go, this is a big one - the Super Trofeo tips the scales at just 2,800 pounds, nearly 400 pounds less than the standard model, thanks to the removal of the all-wheel-drive system. That's right, this Lambo sends its power to the rear wheels.
Aside from the single drive axle, Lamborghini has upgraded the car's aerodynamics, offering gentlemen racers the option of ten different settings for the rear wing, as well as new front and rear diffusers and adjustable front air intakes. Lambo has also fitted specially formatted Pirelli race rubber, and gotten development help from the racing gurus at Dallara Engineering.
2024 Lamborghini Revuelto First Drive: Wildly different, still wild
Tue, Oct 10 2023ROME – While some companies make comprehensive updates to an older model and market it as a new car, Lamborghini detoured this avenue when it began developing a successor to the Aventador. New from the ground up, the Revuelto stands out both as the brandÂ’s flagship and as its first series-produced plug-in hybrid. It has a lot to live up to – its predecessors notably include the Miura and the Countach – and it has a lot to prove because its drivetrain opens a path that the entire range will take in the coming years. From a visual perspective, the Revuelto looks like a logical evolution of the Aventador. ItÂ’s about 3 inches longer but its overall proportions havenÂ’t significantly changed; itÂ’s instantly recognizable as a Lamborghini. ThereÂ’s a lot more going on than initially meets the eye. Mitja Borkert, the brandÂ’s head of design, told me that the inspiration for the recessed headlights came from the world of motorcycles. The high-mounted dual exhaust tips migrated from two-wheeler planet as well (Borkert is an avid rider), while the carbon fiber engine cover is open to show off the V12. The bodyÂ’s lines also arenÂ’t as straight-cut as the AventadorÂ’s. Nothing about the design screams “this is a hybrid!” — that was intentional. “For me, it doesnÂ’t make sense to design a combustion car, a diesel car, or an [electric] car in a different way,” Borkert explained. At the end of the day, the Revuelto is a hybrid car but weÂ’re not emphasizing the hybrid part of it. WeÂ’re emphasizing the engine, which represents the full powertrain,” he added. From a technical perspective, however, the Revuelto is pegged lightyears away from the supercars you had posters of on your bedroom wall if you grew up in the 1990s. Even the Aventador, which entered production in 2011, is comparatively simple: Remove the body and youÂ’ll find a big, naturally-aspirated V12 engine, a transmission located in the tunnel named after it, and a great deal of carbon fiber bits. Going hybrid forced Lamborghini to make several significant changes. Power comes from a new, dry-sump 6.5-liter V12 that remains naturally-aspirated, which is remarkable in an era when enthusiasts are being force-fed a stew of downsizing and forced induction. Using anything else was ruled out.
Lamborghini announces new car coming to Paris with cryptic teaser

What in the name of Ferruccio Lamborghini does that mean? Well, we have no idea, and we think that's sorta the point. Lamborghini wants us to know that it's bringing something very interesting to the Paris Motor Show, and it wants the public and press alike wondering what it might have up its finely tailored sleeves.
Taking a look at the white-on-black line drawing that accompanies the teaser (click above to enlarge), we note a pretty clear fastback shape, which reminds us of the classic Espada, and we also know that the brand has long been considering a four-door sedan to add to its high-performance portfolio. Either way, a four-seater or a four-door machine could seemingly fit with the "double it" tagline of the teaser, and we're really just speculating anyway.
