Replica Lamborghin Countach Koenig Edition Plus Many Extras! on 2040-cars
Santa Maria, California, United States
NOTE: Vehicle Location is Santa Maria, CA 93455, USA Since I was young, I dreamed of owning a Lamborghini Countach. I finally realized that dream, many years ago...sort of. I purchased this half-built kit car and started the process of creating my own supercar. Along the way I met a whole new family of passionate friends that shared the same dreams, met countless people who just wanted to learn more, or just be close to such an exotic machine. I recently re-located my home and businesses to Los Angeles and as part of that move, my most painful loss is the fact that I need to now part with my car. I simply do not have a location to store and work on it now, and so I must sell it to someone else who can finish it and drive it. This has been a gut-wrenching decision, but hopefully this will create an opportunity for someone else to take on this project and continue the adventure! This is a Pontiac Fiero-based non-stretch chassis with an IFG Koenig Countach body. It still has the stock engine and drive train. It has no crazy engine modifications to make getting it running well a big problem. I have completely re-built the suspension system with Pro-Thane urethane bushings and and after an alignment and tighten-up will be a real smooth-mover! It has not been driven or ran for many years, so it will require a thorough mechanical inspection and cleanup before driving. I did drive it myself when I first purchased the car, then I started the process of re-building it. I had plans of pulling the engine and upgrading the engine to a v-8 which has been done many times to cars like this, but I never got that far. When I embarked on this project I decided that I wanted the experience of driving this car to be as accurate and realistic as possible of that of a real Lamborghini Countach. So the process of completely gutting the interior began. I created custom interior panels, dash board and other components to resemble the actual Lambo interior. I then started a several-year process of sourcing all-authentic Lamborghini interior parts for the the switches, indicators, selectors and other components that would create a great driving environment and convince any passer-by that this was a true super car. I work in the movie and TV industry, so I figured it should work as a picture car as well, so accuracy was important. I painstakingly re-wired the Pontiac wiring system to work with the Lamborghini switches and it's trademark pushbutton switches! No easy task, let me tell you! I spent many years and many thousand dollars finding original replacement parts for the car. I have amassed an incredible collection of exceptionally rare original Lamborghini parts that I am selling ALONG WITH this car. See this PAGE for a partial listing of everything included. This is virtually a turn-key project car that has almost everything that you need to complete the vehicle. The car has not been driven for many years and will require a basic service and mechanical check out prior to being driven. The wheels are in prefect shape, the tires are original Pirelli P-7s (exceptionally rare!) and as such are older, but have plenty of tread, though they'll likely need replacement before they get any real mileage. NOTE: This car has a CA DMV Specially Constructed Vehicle number designation which is a highly sought after designation that should allow it to be registered by its body or engine year and thus allow smog check exemption. It has not been registered since 2002 (I believe) so buyer will be responsible for all registration fees and costs associated with the title. I am selling the vehicle, all the Lambo OEM original parts, several custom made replica parts. Every single piece and element that I purchased, built and traded for to create this car is being sold along with it. Everything, including seals, battery, filters, wires, switches and the list goes on and on. Click here for details Arrangements can be made to view this car in Santa Maria, CA 93455 with prior notice. I do not live in Santa Maria so I have to arrange travel to meet you, so only serious buyers please. Upon purchasing the car, you will need to schedule a flatbed tow truck or car hauler to move it, as it does not run on its own at this time. I will require a $2,000 deposit upon agreement to purchase. I will end all ads, auction and promotion of the sale of this vehicle at that time and no sooner. I am selling it as-is with no warranty expressed, no returns or refunds. Please understand what you are purchasing. It has much work to be done to get in running and looking like the true beauty she is inside. If you know about these project, you understand the work that goes into them, and you will also understand the incredible value for the amount of material that you will receive along with this car. Parting out all the original Lamborghini OEM parts and replicas might even be enough to cover the entire selling price! Many of these items are exceptionally rare and took me YEARS to source. In addition to the vehicle this sale comes with an outstanding collection of authentic, replica and custom made Lamborghini parts, accessories, emblems, decals and other items that will transform your experience of owning this car! Some of the items that come with this sale include:

Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster confirmed
Mon, Jun 29 2015At the Goodwood Festival of Speed over the weekend, Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann confirmed the arrival of the Aventador LP750-4 Superveloce Roadster. The news puts a bow on a gift we already expected, having seen the superfast roadster gussied up like a Swedish rally car during testing in the Arctic. Assuming you're tall enough to ride the ride, you'll get 740-horsepower from its 6.5-liter V12 in a body that's lighter by 110 pounds versus the more mundane (we use that term loosely, of course) LP 700-4. Production will be limited to 500 units, undercutting production of the Superveloce coupe by 100 units, and the dealer order lines have officially opened. Speaking of which, all 600 coupes have already been sold, each one listing at $493,095. The roadster will surely be more dear. The press release below has the official words from the man himself. Goodwood Festival of Speed: Lamborghini confirms Roadster version of Aventador Superveloce Sant'Agata Bolognese/Goodwood, 29 June 2015 – Automobili Lamborghini has announced a roadster version of its Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce. The roadster will be limited to 500 units. The Aventador Superveloce coupe version made its UK debut at Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend, on display and running 'up the hill', with Lamborghini President and CEO Stephan Winkelmann in attendance. Speaking at Goodwood, Stephan Winkelmann confirmed production of the Superveloce Roadster. "The Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce is the most pure, sports-oriented and emotional incarnation of a Lamborghini, and all 600 units have been sold, with first deliveries starting now. We will also produce a roadster version, which our dealers worldwide are now taking orders for." The Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce was shown at Geneva motor show earlier this year. The Superveloce accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 2.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of more than 325 km/h (217 mph). Compared to the Aventador LP 700-4 the power output of the Superveloce has been increased by 50 hp and the weight reduced by 50 kg. Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. Founded in 1963, Automobili Lamborghini is headquartered in Sant'Agata Bolognese, in North-eastern Italy. The Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4, which made its world debut at the Geneva Motor Show in 2014, is the successor to the iconic Gallardo and, with its innovative technology and exceptional performance, it redefines the driving experience of luxury super sports cars.
The 2019 Lamborghini Urus, fastest SUV in the world, has landed
Mon, Dec 4 2017A Lamborghini has got to stand out from the crowd. In the supercar world, that means things like scissor-doors, massive wings, and almost impossibly wedge-shaped profiles. In the SUV world, standing out apparently means a dramatically descending roofline, a fascia with more cuts, contours, and creases than a bright yellow origami Pikachu. You certainly won't mistake the Lamborghini Urus for anything else on the road. That flavescent bodywork hides a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 sending a stout 641 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque through an 8-speed automatic transmission to all four wheels. It hits 62 mph in 3.6 seconds, and we anxiously await the first YouTube video showing an Urus lined up against a Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk for ultimate SUV-acceleration bragging rights. With a top speed of 189.5 mph, Rambo Lambo Part Deux seemingly makes good use of all those aero bits to outrun the Trackhawk by a solid 10 mph, and the Bentley Bentayga by a razor-slim troika. The hi-po engine is backed up with standard carbon ceramic brakes, active roll control, and a torque vectoring rear differential. With all of these performance goodies employed, Lamborghini expects it to have a Nurburgring lap time that will break the Alfa Stelvio Quadrifoglio's outstanding 7:15 time. 2019 Lamborghini Urus View 11 Photos We can't imagine many owners taking an Urus off road, but Lamborghini cites the low-down torque of the turbocharged V8 as an off-pavement benefit. And, in addition to the expected modes of Strada, Sport, Corsa and Neve (a typically Italian stand-in for Snow), there are Terra (off-road) and Sabbia (sand) modes. Each sportier road mode lowers the air suspension, and the off-road modes raise the suspension for ground clearance. Rear-wheel steering based on the system from the Aventador S can change steering angle between positive and negative 3 degrees, and it is likely to come in handy no matter what kind of terrain you're traveling. Lamborghini has expanded its factory in Sant'Agata in order to ramp up production on the Urus, which, when it goes on sale in 2018 as a 2019 model with a pricetag of about $200,000, is expected to be the marque's bestseller. In fact, the Group are hoping that it will eventually double annual global sales, from 3500 to 7000. The SUV market is currently booming, and Lambo plans other variants of this model, including its first plug-in hybrid, so this seems within the realm of possible.
Lamborghini LB48H hypercar due next year: You might even say it glows
Mon, Dec 24 2018We know there's a hybrid Lamborghini Aventador successor coming sometime between 2020 and 2022. Due to deleted Instagram posts and a fissures in the rumor-verse, we expect a hypercar codenamed LB48H to preview the next electrified V12 Lamborghini. Autocar reports the next model in the Italian carmaker's series of low-volume specials will cost about $2.6 million, making it just another walk in the hypercar park as for price. The weird part is where Road & Track, referencing "a source familiar with Lamborghini's plans," says the LB48H will glow in the dark. The source didn't elaborate, so not even RT knows what that means. The Lamborghini Terzo Millennio concept from 2017 revealed a smattering of Tron-like light sculpture in its launch video. The wheels and engine bay glow, illuminated Italian flag graphics mark the front fenders, LED piping runs down the centerline. But lights don't come under the traditional definition of "glow in the dark." If the LB48H really does sport some kind of overall incandescence, well, we're about to enter a new chapter in hypercars. Other questions remain about how the LB48H will preview the future of Sant' Agata. The company's head of R&D has bemoaned the weight of batteries, admitting that the best-case scenario for the coming series-production hybrid V12 flagship means an additional 330 to 440 pounds. It's thought that the hypercar will use supercapacitors instead of batteries, providing a lightweight solution that would also showcase future technical potential. The all-electric Terzo Millennio employed nascent supercapacitor tech Lamborghini has been developing with MIT. That solution's upside is lighter size and weight compared to batteries, longer service life, a supercapacitor's fast charge and discharge ability, and the fact that it can discharge and recover energy at the same time. The downside is that supercapacitors have low energy density compared to lithium-ion batteries, so it's possible the LB48H could use a battery and a supercapacitor to work a 49-horsepower motor aiding an 789-hp V12. The production V12 is expected to get a more mundane solution. Lamborghini's looking ahead to cities mandating a minimum all-electric range up to 31 miles. One idea in play is a split hybrid layout, with an electric motor in charge of the front axle. That eliminates a prop shaft, and sharpens front axle response and torque vectoring.
