Reduced 6 Speed Gallardo With: Lp Nose, Carbon Fiber Wing & Engine Bonnet on 2040-cars
Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, United States
2004 Gallardo Just reduced & Has LP-550 Nose, 6-speed, Clear bonnet WITH Superleggera Style cues. This Gallardo that needs nothing. With the LP-560 nose you can not tell this car apart from a 2013!. This combination of the LP-560 Nose, clear/Carbon fiber bonnet and 6-speed trany with the carbon fiber accents make this a sought after car. This car has a lot of similarities to its sister the Superleggera. Has a carbon fiber & clear engine bonnet, Carbon fiber rear wing (factory fit & Style), Carbon fiber inlay wheels and the of course the LP-550 front bumper (nose). This car looks amazing. The extra do not stop on the ExteriorThe interior is two tone with Yellow & black. It also has some carbon fiber cues & styling for the center console. It has a nice Pioneer touch screen dvd /cd/MPS/Navigation player with an amazing 400 watt stereo. Back up camera built into rear wing. New door speakers component set with built in X-over and a 13'' Sub built into the center console between the two seats. The box was made with a carbon fiber looking material to match the rest of the accents. The 13'' sub is a new design from JL audio that is only 5'' deep so it does not take up any needed space. The engine is fully stock with only the addition of Hefner performance cat-back exhaust kit for a nice sound without being obnoxious. Car runs, drives and sounds great. Has a new battery and i keep it on a battery tender. Rubber is good. All lights and signal work. The car is based out of Hilton Head SC, It is going to Lamborghini of West Palm in February to have a "free of charge" power steering recall performed which includes an entirely new power steering system, pump and hoses. While there is will have the 20,000 mile maintenance performed ($3,000) which will include all new fluids, filters and spark plugs. Clutch has plenty of life left as it's thickness can be seen through "inspection Holes" in the bottom of the transmission. It will also have a certified PPI inspection done for any potential buyers. The car is near perfect in every way. No trades

Lamborghini unveils 50th anniversary Aventador Roadster and Gallardo
Sat, 17 Aug 2013Though hardly moving into Porsche levels of 50th Anniversary celebrations, Lamborghini is taking its own golden jubilee pretty seriously. The Italian company treated the world to a 50 Anniversario version of the Aventador LP720-4 earlier this year in Shanghai. At this year's swanky show at The Quail during Pebble Beach weekend, Lamborghini is showing off the convertible version of the car, the very sultry Aventador LP 720-4 Roadster 50 Anniversario.
What's more, the company has brought along the anniversary-treated Gallardo LP560-2 50 Anniversario as well, which we officially saw for the first time in China. Hey, a stage full of Lambos is no bad thing in our book.
As the coupe version before it, the 50th Anniversary Aventador has been massaged to make a full-bodied 720 horsepower from its stunning 6.5-liter V12, as well as done up with special edition paint and badging. A subtlety redesigned front splitter will call out the limited run Aventador Roadster to those in the know, too. Enough reading; check out both the Aventador Roadster and the celebratory Gallardo, live from the show stand at The Quail, in our attached galleries of images.
Watch this Lamborghini Aventador shoot flames and light itself on fire
Mon, 03 Nov 2014The stationary revving of high-horsepower, high-cylinder-count Italian engines may be an adolescent pleasure among the world's wealthy, but it's a mechanical display of machismo we're usually prepared to indulge simply because it sounds so great. And it's a spectacle made all the better when one's exhaust spits flames, right? Well, most of the time. Check out this Lamborghini driver, who gets a bit exuberant with his right foot only to have disaster strike.
The driver's Aventador has no problem shooting long flames, and apparently they're hot enough to catch portions of the supercar's body alight. However, the driver's reaction might be even more unbelievable. Watch the video to see what happens - his response certainly isn't how many people would react to their supercar being on fire, perhaps because he isn't completely comprehending what's going on.
One final note; while the video's title claims that the fire is the result of a design flaw, there's not really enough information here to know if that's actually the case. The Lambo could be running an unsuitably modified exhaust or ECU to help it shoot big flames, or the issue could be as simple as debris caught in the rear vents lighting up.
Do you want a cheap amphibious Lamborghini Countach?
Fri, Apr 8 2016James Bond famously dove under the waves in a Lotus Esprit submarine in The Spy Who Loved Me. Elon Musk now has the car in his collection, but you can have the next best thing by buying this amphibious Lamborghini Countach. It needs a lot of work to be seaworthy or even roadworthy again, but the floating Italian supercar is currently on eBay Motors in the UK for the equivalent of $26,790. While the vehicle looks like a Countach, don't expect to listen to a sonorous Italian V12 on the open seas because power now comes from a Rover V8. In the water, a twin-prop drive runs from a power takeoff on the engine, and twin rudders allow for navigation. Hydraulics lift wheels when it's time to get wet. For wannabe Bonds, there's even a button inside to activate a smoke screen. Some digging online shows that Mike Ryan of SeaRoader originally built the water-going Countach. Both the eBay ad and Ryan's page assert the supercar briefly went to Hollywood for various roles, but the Internet Movie Car Database only shows the Lambo appearing briefly in Top Gear's Season 8 amphibious cars episode. Ryan also helped the guys build their own floating vehicles. Get ready for some hard work before setting sail. According to the listing, the carpets and seats are gone. The engine still turns, but the fuel pipe that goes to the tank needs replaced. It also requires new tires and brake work. If you're up to the challenge, this could be an amazing project.
