Lamborghini Countach 5000 Replica, Ifg Body, 84 Feiro, Kit Car on 2040-cars
Braddyville, Iowa, United States
This is a Kit Car sold as is where is. Location is Braddyville Iowa. History: My Sister and I have inherited this Lamborghini Countach 5000 Replica Kit Car. The body is an Imaginary Fiber Glass (IFG) Lamborghini 5000 Replica. The Chassis is a 84 Pontiac Fiero. The engine is a 4.3L Chevrolet from a 1987 Astro Van. The car I do not believe the car has been started since it left San Diego in September of 1999. It has been stored in a garage in SouthWest Iowa. The documentation package is good condition and includes the Blue Print Plans, and the Instruction manual. The vehicle is currently titled in Iowa, and all documentation I have is included. The car and all the associated parts in the pictures is what is for sale. We reserve the right to end auction early if vehicle is sold through any other sales methods. Storage is available after purchase, we will need to discuss length of time. I could arrange a viewing for serious buyers. The reserve is set at $5,000. I included 2 additional photos. Both pictures/sheets are from the literature package from the original purchaser of the kit. Original owner purchased package 1 and package 2, and I do have that receipt. Interceptor 5000s is all the documentation states the car is. I do not know what year Countach that represents. Last winning bidder failed to pay, failed to respond to emails. I am now re-listing. |

1971 Lamborghini Miura SV is PoloStorico's first restoration
Fri, Mar 11 2016Lamborghini is fitting in at the annual Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance, trotting out a fully restored 1971 Miura SV. This is not just any Miura, though. It's been the subject of a complete restoration courtesy of Sant'Agata's young restoration arm, PoloStorico. Wearing chassis number 4846, this Miura SV was introduced on the Bertone stand during the 1971 Geneva Motor Show – the company's new Countach was on the main Lambo stage. According to Lambo, this car is "truly a one-off," featuring parts from the Miura S alongside pioneering features that would be seen on later SVs. But who cares about its history – just look at this thing. Lamborghini has gone mad restoring this Miura, with PoloStorico inspecting each individual body panel and then finishing all of them in this beautiful Verde Metallazata – literally green metallic. The company claims that every component was restored or replaced, and that "exhaustive research" went into the process. But why Amelia Island, and why now? The head of PoloStorico has the answer. "This is the year in which the Lamborghini Miura celebrates its 50th anniversary," Enrico Maffeo said in the official statement. "This car not only illustrates the iconic appeal of the Miura, widely acknowledged as the forerunner of modern super sports models, but is also a perfect example of the expertise available in Lamborghini PoloStorico in providing the most authentic Lamborghini restorations." This Miura SV marks the first completed project for the PoloStorico team. Based on the few images we've seen, it's the start of something big for Lamborghini's vintage models. The Lamborghini Miura SV (Super Veloce), chassis #4846, was the pre-production model for subsequent Miura SV production. Unveiled at the 1971 Geneva motor show on Bertone's stand (while Lamborghini showed its new Countach), the car was truly a one-off, carrying over parts from the previous Miura S and introducing new features that would be seen on later SVs. Lamborghini PoloStorico was appointed a year ago to fully restore chassis #4846 to its perfect original state.
Lamborghini reveals Aventador Nazionale in Beijing
Sun, 20 Apr 2014Special editions have proven themselves a great way for high-end automakers to get a little bit more for their wares, but they appear to be gradually being taken over by personalization programs that allow customers to order their exotic new wheels just as they want them. After all, what's the point in ordering a special color scheme someone else has chosen when you can choose it yourself, with special wheels and interior upholstery to match?
Lamborghini has just such a program. It's called Ad Personam, and like the customization catalogs offered by other automakers, it allows its clients to specify any range of stylistic parameters to suit their own taste. To showcase the program, Lamborghini brought a customized Aventador to the Beijing Motor Show. Called the Nazionale edition, it's got a white paintjob with tricolore racing stripes up the hood, anthracite wheels, and a blue leather interior.
It's similar to the Gallardo Tricolore that rolled out of Sant'Agata three years ago - the kind of treatment we'd otherwise call a special edition, but despite carrying a different name, it just goes to show the possibilities Lamborghini offers it customers. For the right price, of course.
