HE SAID HE WANTED TO KEEP THE PRICE UNDER 50K WHEN FINISHED INSTEAD OD 225K FOR THE REAL THING. IT HAS BEEN STRECHED 5", BODY AND FRAME SO IT WOULD BE THE SAME LENGTH AS A REAL ONE. THE BODY IS ATTACHED TO THE FRAME. IT NEEDS TO BE PAINTED.( HE WANTED IT RED)THE CAR HAS A ENGINE THAT WAS REBUILT BY HUGHS ENGINES! THE CAR IS A FIVE SPEED, IT HAS TILT CRUISE AND AIR. IT WAS LAST STARTED ABOUT 10 MONTHS AGO WHEN IT WENT INTO STORAGE AWAITING FINAL OUT-COME OF THE DIVORCE! IT HAS A NEW WINDSHIELD, IT HAS A LOT OF PARTS NEW STILL IN THE BOXES.THE WHEELS AND TIRES PICTURED WITH THE CAR ARE BRAND NEW REAL LAMBORGHINI WHEELS AND THE TIRES STILL HAVE THE NEEDLES ON THEM. I ALSO HAVE THE CENTER CAPS TOO. WE COULD HAVE TAKEN A CRUISE FOR A WEEK FOR WHAT WE PAID FOR THE WHEELS AND TIRES. OVER 5K!! I HAVE THE RECIEPTS! THE WINDSHIELD WAS $1200.00! IT HAS LEATHER SEATS AND SOME GLASS FOR THE DOORS. THE DOORS AND THE LID ON THE BACK WITH THE WING ARE JUST PROPPED TO SHOW WHAT IT WILL LOOK LIKE. I HAVE THE HINGES FOR THE DOORS, AND THE BACK LID. THERE ARE BOXES OF OTHER PARTS THAT ARE NOT PICTURED. I BELIEVE EVERYTHING IS THERE TO FINISH THE CAR. GUYS, THIS WILL MAKE SOMEONE A REAL HEAD TURNER AND PROBABLY THE ONLY ONE IN YOUR TOWN.THERE IS A BIG CAN OF RED DUPONT PAINT THAT HE WAS GOING TO HAVE THE CAR PAINTED WITH ALSO. eBay Find of the Day: 1992 Minardi-Lamborghini M191L
Wed, 16 Oct 2013Think of Italian Formula One teams and Ferrari is first and foremost to come to mind. But the Prancing Horse team is not the only game in town. What is today known as Scuderia Toro Rosso was once, and for two decades, known as Minardi. And for one (unfortunately unsuccessful) season, it was powered by Lamborghini.
That season was 1992, when Christian Fittipaldi (Emerson's nephew) drove for the team, substituted by Alex Zanardi for a few races and teamed up with Gianni Morbidelli - the Italian driver who just took the Superstars championship this past weekend.
Alongside the Modena team it supplied the year before (to even less success), the Minardi partnership was one of only two Italian teams which the F1 division established at Lamborghini under Chrysler ownership would motivate power. It yielded a sixth-place finish at the Japanese Grand Prix as its best result, but the coupling of an Italian engine in an Italian chassis is what makes it stand out in history. Valentino Balboni drove it for demonstration events at Road Atlanta and Sebring, and now that car is up for auction on eBay Motors.

Whereas the old Poncho formerly served as the go-to platform for every Ferrari and Lamborghini replica gone awry, the Eclipse seems to have usurped that crown in the modern age. Need an example? Look no further than this crafty Eclipse owner from Ukraine recently uncovered by our friends at EnglishRussia.com. Using nothing but some very impressive fabrication skills, some sheet metal and his ingenuity, the guy turned his budget Japanese cruiser into an homage to the Lamborghini Reventon.
Sure, the proportions are a little off. And yes, the front end looks a bit wonky, but the finished product is better than we could manage. Lamborghini bringing exclusive supercar to Pebble Beach
Fri, Jul 31 2015The latest rumors emanating from the House of the Raging Bull say that Lamborghini is planning another million-dollar, ultra-exclusive supercar. Lambo is tipped to bring it to Pebble Beach next month, but it won't be showing it to the general public. Lamborghini has a proud recent history of turning its flagship supercars into something even more desirable. You'll remember the Reventon that was based on the Murcielago previewed the Aventador and was offered in a limited run of 20 coupes and 15 roadsters with a seven-figure price tag. The Bolognese automaker followed up with the Veneno, an even more extreme take on the Aventador. Three coupes and nine roadsters were sold, with prices exceeding $4 million. (There was the Sesto Elemento, but that was a smaller 10-cylinder model.) According to Motor Trend, this latest creation is expected to be based on the 12-cylinder Aventador, with more adventurous styling and likely a more powerful engine. You can bet it'll be produced in small numbers and command a seven-figure price tag. Production is likely to take place at the company's dedicated prototype development center that was opened three years ago. Now if you're wondering what's the point of bringing a new car to a public show if you're not going to show it to the public, consider that the public isn't the only ones that will be in attendance for the Monterey extravaganza. Some of Sant'Agata's top clients will also be on hand, and it's to those individuals that Lamborghini will be showing its latest creation. Lambo's been known to hold private previews in the past, and cameras were not allowed the last time this writer was invited to such an event. But that concept was unveiled to the public at a major auto show the following month, so here's hoping whatever Lamborghini is bringing to Pebble Beach will find its way onto the stage in Frankfurt come September as well.
