We are offering this 25th Anniversary Edition Countach as we believe to be "The Finest Kept Unrestored, Ultra-Mint Example" that you will ever find. More important then the documented 3177 miles (4877km) from new. This Countach has had perfect storage and meticulous care over its entire 23 year life. We truly believe no better condition example of this rising value collector car exists anywhere. Enthusiast owned from new, this car comes complete with all original books, manuals, tool kit, spare parts package and even the original shipping plastic seat covers. The very few miles this car has been driven have apparently been in excellent weather conditions as this car appears as-new on the underside and the perfect storage environment has kept all chassis and engine compartment components in flawless condition. There is absolutely no corrosion or even oxidation on the aluminum castings or any plating failure on fasteners or other mechanical components. Wheels are pristine and the tires show no evidence of any age deterioration but are in fact 23 years old and caution is to be taken if car is to be driven at any high speed. The interior is fantastic as you see in our pictures with no wear on leather surfaces and perfect carpet and trim. Absolutely no sun fade as car never really sat out for any extended period of time. All electrical components gauges switchgear, radio, etc all function properly. Power operated windows and hidden headlamps work as intended. Exterior appearance is virtually show quality with damage and deterioration free paint and zero damage history from new. We did change this car over to the much more attractive European factory front bumper assembly perfectly painted to match the original US spec crash bumper is included with the sale of this car. At the time of painting and installing bumper we did refinish the lower front chin spoiler to correct a few small chips and a slightly scraped lower edge. The work is impeccable and a perfect color match. The Lamborghini Countach is an iconic car from the eighties that gave the marque international recognition with its ultra radical styling and blistering performance. This is a late production anniversary edition built in July of 1989 as a US spec car and properly titled as a 1990, the final year and most desirable edition of the famed Countach. This car is in "Concourse" condition as it sits and needs absolutely nothing It runs and drives exactly as you would expect. If you are looking for the best possible Countach on the market today and a Red-Tan Anniversary model, this is the car. These cars are on the rise in value and while cheaper examples may be out there, you will find none better than this one. Amelia Island 2013: Lamborghini celebrates its golden anniversary

Wed, 13 Mar 2013

Lamborghini celebrated its 50th anniversary at the Geneva Motor Show with the introduction of the ultra-limited-production Veneno, but the 2013 Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance had an even rarer Lambo on stage. Parked next to the all-new 2013 Aventador Roadster, Lamborghini displayed the world's only Miura Roadster from 1968.
It wouldn't be a Lamborghini display without the Countach, of course, but there were also some of Italian marque's more unique models, including a 1971 Espada, a 1969 Islero and a 1966 350 with its exquisite backward-bent A-pillars. Lamborghini North America COO Michael Lock was also on hand at the show confirming that two of the three Veneno models have been sold to US buyers.

Ferruccio Lamborghini's life to be chronicled in new film

Sun, Jan 3 2016

A new movie is in the works to chronicle the life and times of Ferruccio Lamborghini. The biopic, currently in development under the working title Lamborghini – the Legend, is being undertaken by Italian-Canadian producer Andrea Iervolino though his studio Ambi Group. Shooting for the film is said to begin in Italy this summer. According to Variety, the film will follow the career of the Lamborghini founder born a century ago, from his start building agricultural tractors, through the manufacturing of military equipment during the Second World War, the establishment of his supercar company in 1963, and on to his passing in 1993. Ferruccio sold both of his companies in 1972, with the automaker passing through several hands (including Chrysler's) before the Volkswagen Group bought it in 1999 – several years after the founder's passing – through its subsidiary Audi. Ferruccio's son Tonino Lamborghini, who runs a designer merchandise company, is reportedly consulting on the film's production. The producer Andrea Iervolino is an Italian filmmaker based in Toronto. He's undertaken a couple of projects with Al Pacino, including the 2004 movie adaptation of Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice and 2014's The Humbling. He also co-produced this year's Septembers of Shiraz starring Adrien Brody and Salma Hayek. He and the Ambi Group he co-founded with Lady Monika Bacardi currently have several projects in post-production, including a film adaptation of John Steinbeck's novel In Dubious Battle starring James Franco, Bryan Cranston, Ed Harris, and Robert Duval. Ferruccio's nemesis Enzo Ferrari is similarly said to be the subject of two films under development – one starring Robert De Niro, and another featuring Christian Bale. There's also a project being undertaken in New Zealand to document the life of Bruce McLaren. The bottom line is that the year ahead looks like it'll be a good one for films about the founders of racing teams and supercar manufacturers. Related Video:

Lamborghini to celebrate 50th Anniversary with new model

Fri, 14 Dec 2012

Lamborghini is planning to roll out a new car for the brand's 50th anniversary. Automotive News Europe reports the Italian automaker will unveil a special one-off machine to commemorate the date next year. CEO Stepahn Winkelmann has been tight-lipped about the vehicle, saying coyly, "It will not be a revival or a retro." Fortunately, with 2013 right around the corner, we shouldn't have to wait long to see what Lamborghini has up its sleeves for the special car.
The company has other big plans for the celebration and has reportedly invited owners to ship their cars to Milan, where they will then parade through Tuscany, Rome and Bologna before arriving at the Lamborghini factory in Sant'Agata Bolognese.
It's a good time for a party. Lamborghini has seen strong sales through 2012 despite the faltering European economy, and the Aventador coupe and roadster each have an 18-month waiting list.
