Lamborghini driver can't shoot the gap in London

It may be difficult to see a nearly $500,000 car wrecked because of hot-shot driving on narrow streets, but a new video of a Lamborghini Aventador crash in one of London's poshest zip codes over the weekend has to be seen to be believed.
The accident occurred Sunday and left Sloane Street in London's ritzy Chelsea district littered with equally ritzy matte black body parts. A fan of the supercar enthusiast Shmee150 submitted footage of the devastating wreck to his YouTube channel, and Shmee kindly turned around and offered it to Autoblog. In the video, the Lamborghini's tires momentarily lift off the pavement as the driver fails in an attempt to squeeze in-between what looks to be a turning Mazda Demio and parked cars including a Nissan Qashqai and a BMW 3 Series.
This enigmatic matte black Lamborghini has popped up on YouTube in the past, shooting flames from its exhaust and causing a ruckus on London streets, The Telegraph reports. No one was arrested at the crash and there are no charges pending at this time. Hopefully, even without legal ramifications, this driver has learned the lesson every morning commuter on London's Tube knows; mind the gap.

Vmax200 in in England organizes events where those who care to show up with a supercar can run them down the two-mile runway at Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground. Evo attended the latest event, bringing an impressively green Lamborghini Aventador to test its girth and gaping vents against other precious metals like the McLaren P1 and F1, Ferrari F12 Berlinetta and Enzo, a Porsche Carrera GT and enough 911 Turbos to start a dealership. Speaking of those Porsches, nine of the top ten slots in the top speed competition are claimed by modified 911 Turbos.
A monochrome Swede ruled them all, though, a black-and-white Koenigsegg CCX setting fire to the speed trap run after run, hitting 211 miles per hour at its quickest. It was followed by, surprise, a 911 GT2 modified by 9E that did 210 mph. Lamborghini celebrated the centennial its founder's birth with the aptly named Centenario at the Geneva Motor Show. It was a jaw-dropper, but now the party really begins as Lambo released video of the limited-run supercar on the track at the Nardo Technical Center in Italy. Lamborghini will build 40 copies of the Centenario evenly split between coupes and roaders. It's powered by a 759-horsepower naturally aspirated V12 – the most powerful Lambo has ever made. It uses carbon-fiber for the monocoque and body and is loaded with sophisticated aerodynamic treatments. In short, it's a more extreme version of the Aventador on which it's based. The Centenario hits 62 miles per hour in 2.8 seconds en route to a top speed of 217.48 miles per hour. All 40 Centenarios are sold out, so watching this video of is likely as close as you'll get to tasting Lamborghini's salute to Ferruccio.
