Vehicle Description

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction.  Buying your next vehicle through a NO RESERVE auction is the best way to take the game playing out of your next automotive purchase.

I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives.  Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic.

Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability.

Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid.

An administrative fee of $249 will be added to the final bid of each auction.

Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a very clean 2000 KIA Sportage EX 4x4.  KIA’s are fantastic vehicles.

I would rate the exterior of this Sportage to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age of this vehicle.

As you can see, this KIA shows very well.  It is finished in bright white with gray/black accent stripes and shines like glass.

The fenders, rockers and doors all look great which is hard to find on an older vehicle.

The bumpers and trim look great.  All of the glass and lenses are intact.

The alloy wheels look good and are wrapped in a Brand NEW set of PRIMEWELL All Season Radials P205-75-15.

Please take your time and look at each photo and read the entire description.

I would rate the interior of this KIA Sportage EX to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age of this vehicle.

The door panels are clean and tight.  The carpets show well and are thick/full looking throughout the interior.

The cloth seats show very well and are comfortable. The rear seats fold down to increase the cargo area.

The rear hatch operates perfectly and the spare tire swings in & out for easy loading and unloading.

The AM/FM stereo CD player is original and sounds good.  The climate control system appears to be working properly and the A/C blows COLD.

New blower motor just installed.

The power windows and locks work properly.  I gave a good shampoo to the carpets, seats and original car mats from KIA.

I hand waxed the whole exterior. Changed the oil, filter and air filter.

Mechanically, this Sportage appears to be in great running and driving condition.  The 2.0 litre 4 cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly.

I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke.

The suspension feels nice and tight.  The steering feels neutral and responsive.

The brakes stop with no issues.  Her road manners are excellent.  The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure at all times.

Makes good power and accelerates easily.

The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues.  The 4WD system was tested and is working properly.

Out on the highway, she cruises nice with no complaints.

If you've been looking for a clean, small, efficient SUV, take a good look at this one.  They're getting hard to find with these LOW miles and in this great condition.

Please, serious bidders only!

Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!!!!!

About Us

We offer a unique way of purchasing a vehicle. We sell vehicles to the public with NO RESERVE auction pricing. We get a lot of interesting, unique vehicles and many that have minor flaws.

We give every vehicle a thorough test drive and a visual inspection and describe what we see and feel to you in our descriptions. We try to provide as thorough and accurate a description as possible as well as including 20-25 photos.

Understand however, that we are not professional mechanics and cannot predict the future.

There is additional risk in purchasing a vehicle this way versus buying a vehicle from a retail dealership that has been fully serviced and has a warranty.

You will pay considerably less this way, but understand our vehicles are sold AS-IS and do not carry any sort of warranty.

We are very proud of our feedback score and our many repeat buyers. If you have any questions about how we sell, our policies, or questions about a specific vehicle, please send us a message.

By placing a bid on our auction, you assert that you have read and agree to our Terms & Conditions as well as eBay's Terms & Conditions; you assert that you understand the risks of purchasing a used vehicle; and you

assert that you have asked all questions PRIOR to placing your bid. Additionally, you enter into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should you be the winning bidder.

Please, no bidders with score of 10 or less, no negative scores and no new members (there have been many problems in the past!).

In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction.

This decision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time, while the auction is live or after the auction closes.

The seller may, at its sole discretion, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on this or future auctions.

Winning Bidders:

Winning bidders are required to contact us via eBay Message within 48 hours of auction close, make $500.00 deposit via PayPal and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up.

Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The preferred payment method are Certified Check, USPS Postal Money Order and good old Cash.

PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.

We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.

Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangements are made.

Non-paying Bidders:

We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid.

If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpaid Item case will be opened with eBay. This can severely restrict your ability to purchase from all eBay sellers.

You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.

Fee and Tax Information:

The only fee added by the seller is our $249 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.

The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.

If you wish to contact us for any reason, the quickest and best way to do so is through eBay's message system, AKA "Ask Seller a Question".

Kia Telluride vs Buick Enclave Luggage Test | What actually fits behind that third row?

Fri, Jan 10 2020

So, you want to buy a three-row crossover. Before plunking down $40,000 on a new sport utility vehicle, might we dissuade you with the prospect of minivan ownership? The Pacifica Hybrid, perhaps ... no? Fine. Good thing crossovers (especially the Telluride and comparable Palisade) are so nice to drive these days. We’ll assume you want the big three-row crossover, as you intend to seat folks in all three rows. Unfortunately, raising that third row reduces the luggage area from cavernous to crawl space. ItÂ’s rather devastating from a pure numbers perspective to the two models we have today. The 2019 Buick Enclave goes from a monstrous 58 cubic-feet with the second-row in place down to 23.6 cubic-feet (which along with the nearly identical 2020 Chevrolet Traverse is still best-in-class). Meanwhile, the 2020 Kia Telluride takes a similar hit, going from 46 cubic-feet down to 21 cubic-feet. Just looking at the numbers, it would seem that the EnclaveÂ’s big advantage all but disappears with the third row up, boasting just 2.6 cubic-feet of storage more than the Telluride. But as West Coast Editor James Riswick has discovered in the numerous luggage tests he's conducted, the numbers don't always tell the whole story. Let's see how the Enclave and Telluride compare when you actually put things inside.  Boom. The Enclave swallows all of the test luggage we have for it without any fuss. The distance between the back of the seats to the hatch opening is enough to fit our full-size suitcase horizontally, making it easy to stack every other bag around it. It even fits below the seatbacks, so the driver will have an uninhibited view out the rear of the vehicle.  At our Michigan HQ, our test luggage consists of the following pieces: 28-inch upright suitcase, 24-inch upright suitcase, 19-inch upright suitcase, two small tote bags and one backpack. ItÂ’s likely enough luggage for a quick weekend getaway with the family, given there are no strollers involved. As we attempted to pack it all into the Telluride, weÂ’re glad we didnÂ’t have anything else. The loss of 2.6 cubic-feet of space was indeed felt much harder than what it looks like on paper. We knew we were in trouble when the 28-inch suitcase didnÂ’t fit along the floor as it did so neatly in the Enclave. We were forced to stack it up next to the rear seats, which left it sitting rather tall back there. As a result, the other suitcases didnÂ’t have a neat or convenient place to go.

Kia slices K900 pricing amidst slow sales

Wed, Jan 28 2015

Kia is learning the same hard lesson that Volkswagen learned so many years ago – it's not easy for a volume brand to sell a luxury car. The K900 luxury sedan has suffered through slow sales, moving just over 1,300 vehicles last year, and now the South Korean company is trimming the cost of entry to entice consumers. A new K900 Premium lowers the sedan's price by $5,000, from $59,500 to $54,500, not including a $900 destination charge, Motor Authority reports. While the price is lower, previously standard items, such as LED headlights, Nappa leather and a 17-speaker Lexicon stereo have been packaged as part of a new Luxury trim, which will maintain the original starting price. The two-tier scheme will force consumers to make a new decision about their K900, but that won't extend to the brute under the hood. A 5.0-liter V8 remains a standard item, making even the K900 Premium a tempting option for anyone that values straight-line thrust in a comfortable package. What are your thoughts? Is Kia merely rearranging the deck chairs on a sedan-shaped Titanic, or do you think trimming the price will do some good for the slow-selling K900? The new price is already reflected on Kia's consumer website, so head over, mess about and then come back and have your say about the move in Comments.

Kia's brand perception still painfully lags behind reality

Sat, 11 Oct 2014

I can't tell you how many times I've been driving with friends or family in a decidedly nice Korean press car, only to have a passenger notice the logo on the steering wheel and exclaim, "Wait... this is a Kia?" For every time I roll my eyes at a story with a lede about how Hyundai "is really gaining momentum these days," I get equally annoyed when people comment on how Kia is finally starting to make decent cars. This is hardly news. The brand has been pumping out really solid stuff for a while now.
But as it turns out, not everyone knows that. According to Ward's Auto, speaking to Kia marketing chief Michael Sprague, the automaker recently placed third-to-last in a recent ALG Brand Perception of Quality study, only besting Suzuki and Smart. Wow.
Ward's notes that Kia recently earned a credible sixth place in J.D. Power & Associates' Initial Quality Study, and yet still fell way behind pretty much every other brand in the ALG study. The Korean automaker's cars have also won numerous awards in recent years, and have generally earned positive reviews from the media, Autoblog included.
