up for sale is my mother's 2002 kia spectra with automatic and air conditioning...she passed away in October, and I have no reason to keep 2 cars. the mileage is low, and the car has the typical scrapes and dings as indicated by the photos...there is a dent on the driver side door, which was received in a parking lot . the rear passenger door hinge rusted and thus the door swings freely...just have not bothered to repair, since rear door seldom used...d/s rear door rubber seal needs to be replaced...interior does have some cigarette burn holes that are noted in photos...car is always maintained, 3k oil changes, ect...only issue we have ever had is right front wheel bearing needed to be replaced, and bracket for muffler needed replacement. amazingly..that is it...other than those 2 problems, car has always been mechanically sound, with no other issues. buyer responsible for pick up. cash or certified/bank check only. buyer responsible for pick up or delivery of vehicle...no warranty with vehicle..buyer responsible for all applicable taxes, tags, registration...

Kia gives K900 Matrix spoof for Super Bowl commercial
Wed, 29 Jan 2014Kia made a splash when it announced that Laurence Fishburne would revisit Morpheus, his bespectacled, blade-wielding badass character from the Matrix trilogy for a Super Bowl commercial. When we originally broke that story, we offered up a brief synopsis of the spot, produced by David&Goliath.
Now, we have an extended, 90-second version of the 60-second Kia K900 commercial that's slated to air during this weekend's Super Bowl. While it does stick to the brief we reported on a few weeks back, there's a big, ridiculous twist in the last bit of the video, not to mention a few easter eggs for fans of the movies. We won't spoil it for you, so scroll down and have a look.
After you've watched the video, scroll just a bit further down and have a look at Kia's official press release on the commercial.
Kia teases B-segment concept headed to Frankfurt
Fri, 09 Aug 2013It's not uncommon to see an automaker go a little outside of its comfort zone when creating a concept car, but Kia seems to be going all out for a new small concept it plans to unveil at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Although there is not much information to go on about this unnamed concept, Kia does say that it "hints at a possible future B-segment contender."
With headlights that would look at home on a C7 Corvette or Jaguar F-Type and door cut lines reminiscent of a Ford GT, we can only imagine how sporty this car will look in the flesh. The wide door openings also give a good glimpse inside the car revealing details deep, flat-bottomed steering wheel with paddle shifters and the peculiar rotary-style shifter, but our attention is on the instrument panel switches. If you look closely, the second switch from the left seems to be for a center differential possibly hinting at a future sporty all-wheel-drive Kia. Yes, please! Scroll down for the brief press release on the car, and stay tuned for more info as we'll be on hand covering the show next month.
