I have a 2003 Kia Sorrento for sale here. This was purchased in April of 2008 and has been a great suv and has never had any mechanical problem since then. All that has been replaced is muffler...that's it...this suv can take you anywhere and has been driven with care and not dogged out. I have 3 kids and so that's who have been riding in this suv . My wife has been the sole driver of this suv. Now people I have to say this...the Kelly blue book for this is 4300-4600.......good to excellent...while this suv has not giving me any problem I don't consider nothing but a spanking new vehicle excellent. All vehicle have the potential to be problematic time to time. As of now...nothing. I am not looking to make a killing but get fair market pricing for it. Now to the good things it possess that did not come factory installed :
1.great alarm system installed
2. auto starter which is great for winters installed. Goes up to 1500 feet
3. Navigation system for the kia too......now with all that installed it would be a nice mark-up on any car lot. I would like to at least get some of my money back for all installed. Good paint job...nice interior rides nice.....got a van now because kids are bigger . I wont accept less than $4850 for it because I want to get rid of it...not give it away. Think about it it would take at least starting 5500 with all the gadgets to even think about getting this nice suv. ( I had it checked) Now I am giving all fact about this suv....it states this vehicle was in a incident in 2007 but I can tell you when it was purchased there has not been no issues and this suv has 32000 miles put on it since 08...roughly 6k a year. No issues....so go ahead bid on it answer any question you may have....I have this listing in other places so it could sell there as well before auction is over. P.S. all of the tink characters will be removed if suv is sold.

Hyundai closes the books on fuel economy litigation
Wed, 25 Dec 2013Hyundai-Kia ended up with a lot of kimchi on its face in 2012 when it admitted it had mistakenly exaggerated fuel economy estimates on several 2012 and 2013 model-year offerings like the Hyundai Accent, Veloster and Elantra and Kia Soul. Before the admission a lawsuit had been filed by an entity called Consumer Watchdog, afterward there were "approximately 53" lawsuits filed in federal court that were eventually consolidated into one case in a California Central District court.
The companies apologized profusely and gave customers prepaid gas cards that they could refill with funds for as long as they own their vehicle, as well as perks like free car washes and routine maintenance services. The company has just announced that it has reached a preliminary settlement of the case by adding another method of reimbursement, a lump sum payment that would free drivers from having to go back to the dealership to have their mileage verified for debit card refills.
Assuming the preliminary agreement is approved by the judge, customers could choose the lump sum or the cards. The settlement's value could be as much as $210 million, but the exact number depends on which program plaintiffs choose. On average, affected customers will receive $353. Approval could come in "early 2014," after which Hyundai will notify customers. You'll find more particulars on the potential settlement in the press release below.
Kia slices K900 pricing amidst slow sales
Wed, Jan 28 2015Kia is learning the same hard lesson that Volkswagen learned so many years ago – it's not easy for a volume brand to sell a luxury car. The K900 luxury sedan has suffered through slow sales, moving just over 1,300 vehicles last year, and now the South Korean company is trimming the cost of entry to entice consumers. A new K900 Premium lowers the sedan's price by $5,000, from $59,500 to $54,500, not including a $900 destination charge, Motor Authority reports. While the price is lower, previously standard items, such as LED headlights, Nappa leather and a 17-speaker Lexicon stereo have been packaged as part of a new Luxury trim, which will maintain the original starting price. The two-tier scheme will force consumers to make a new decision about their K900, but that won't extend to the brute under the hood. A 5.0-liter V8 remains a standard item, making even the K900 Premium a tempting option for anyone that values straight-line thrust in a comfortable package. What are your thoughts? Is Kia merely rearranging the deck chairs on a sedan-shaped Titanic, or do you think trimming the price will do some good for the slow-selling K900? The new price is already reflected on Kia's consumer website, so head over, mess about and then come back and have your say about the move in Comments.
2015 Kia K900 proves Korea's other brand has arrived
Thu, 21 Nov 2013Kia entered the US market in 1993 with the Sephia, a compact economy car you probably don't (want to) remember, and two decades later it has stepped on stage at the LA Auto Show to unveil a rear-wheel-drive, fullsize luxury sedan called the K900. The achievement here isn't the car itself, its handsome styling or the incredible value it might be (pricing has yet to be announced), but rather that no one thinks it's strange for this company that once sold us the Sephia to compete head-to-head with the best luxury brands in the world. It's a testament to what 20 years of hard work can do.
No one thinks it's strange for this company that once sold us the Sephia to compete head-to-head with the best luxury brands in the world.
As for the car itself, it does indeed have handsome styling. Kia's design language wears nicely on the K900's larger frame. The large, 19-inch, multi-spoke wheels keep that big body from looking disproportionate, and the all-LED headlights give the front end a suitably high-tech appearance that's required in this class of overachievers.
