2004 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with Hard and Soft Tops

We purchased this vehicle with 5K miles in 2005.  It came with a professionally installed 4" suspension lift.  The following modifications were then done:
  • Body Armor front and rear bumpers w/ Spare Tire mount.
  • Solid steel Poison Spider custom fenders on all 4 corners
  • Tummy Tucker skid plates
  • Terra-Flex releasable anti-sway bar
  • Warn Heavy Duty Winch
  • Full custom roll cage
  • The Five 35 X 12.50 - 15LT BF Goodrich All Terrain KO's, under 1K miles.
  • Tow bar and air brakes-electrical hookups.
  • Soft top with tinted windows (the original hard top is also included but not pictured)
  • K&N Cold Air Intake (The only engine modification)
  • LED Tail Lights
  • CB Radio
  • Kenwood audio system

Recent Maintenance:  Less than 50 miles on new brakes, oil, trans flush, cooling system flush, differential oil, and spark plugs.  Up to date on 100% of the regular servicing.

Have receipts for the work, and much was invested.  Nearly $20,000 in extras and no shortcuts were taken.

Problems:  This Jeep has been off-roaded a handful of times.  It's obvious, but not trashed.  See photos for scuffs and scratches.  The paint is not perfect, and has some minor chips and scratches.  There is some minor surface rust underneath, from living close to the beach.  Nothing substantial.  If you are looking for a SHOW vehicle, this is not it.  If you are looking for a GO vehicle, you found it.

I didn't take any photos of the hard top, but it's in excellent condition, and was removed new.  Hard top is included!

This Jeep belongs to my Step-Father, who married my fabulous Mom 20 years ago.  I'm very aware of where this vehicle has been, and how well it's been cared for.

Happy to help ship this Jeep anywhere on earth.  Once funds clear completely, that is.  Please ask any questions, and I'll be sure to reply quickly.

Please come see and drive this Jeep without obligation in San Clemente, CA: 92673.  Clear title in hand, and this Jeep was never wrecked.  Shoot an Email through eBay, and I will give my cell #.

Thanks for looking, Adam

The Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is pretty much good to go

Fri, Apr 22 2016

We've been stalking the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk for months, and now we're getting our best look yet at the devilishly powerful sport utility vehicle. From a distance, the JGC looks almost stately in black. Look closer and you see the SRT badges and the big brakes. Look past the wrappings and you see large air intakes in the lower fascia. All of this reinforces the Trackhawk's performance pedigree, which will be anchored with the 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi Hellcat V8. It's rated at 707 horsepower in the Charger and Challenger Hellcats. The Jeep will use four-wheel drive. These up-close images show off the Trackhawk's simple design. Like the Dodge Hellcats, Jeep appears to be letting the power and capability stand on their own. Previously, we've only seen the Trackhawk from a distance or in blurry video. The Trackhawk's arrival comes as Fiat Chrysler expands Jeep's global presence. The company is increasingly looking to its venerable off-road brand for sales volume, image building, and profits as it re-aligns its car business and looks for potential partners. The Trackhawk looks nearly production ready, and we expect it to go on sale in 2017. Also, don't confuse it with the Trailhawk, which is a trim level you can buy on the 2017 Grand Cherokee. Jeep does Renegade Chinese-style with Zi You Xia design concept

Sat, 19 Apr 2014

As we mentioned, Jeep is bringing a quartet of concepts to the Beijing Motor Show this year. Its largest model, the Grand Cherokee, is nowhere to be found, but its smallest is. That, of course, would be the new Renegade, which has been done up as the Zi You Xia design concept.
Taking its name from the Mandarin word (or words) for "rebel," the Zi You Xia takes its inspiration from the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing, with a Warm Chocolate Gray paintjob with contrasting dark bronze trim. The roof, grille and mirror caps are color-keyed to match the rest of the exterior, riding on 20-inch alloys in the same dark bronze finish.
Inside it's all Piano Black, Anodized Copper and brown leather with plaid fabric inserts. Scope it out in the high-res image gallery above and the press release below.

Watch this 9-year-old drive Jeep Wrangler off-road [w/poll]

Wed, 28 May 2014

This nine-year-old girl might be better at rock crawling than some people twice her age. But is it worth putting her in danger to do it? According to her father on the Jeep Experience Facebook page, her name is Faith, and she has been offroading with her family since she was two. At nine years old, she's now driving her dad's Jeep over the rocks by herself.
As you can see she's belted in and under her father's direct supervision and guidance. She shows immense confidence for someone her age and follows her dad's instructions on exactly what to do. Although, this could still be a very dangerous situation if something went wrong.
Previously, we saw a similar video with a six-year-old on a motorcycle driving on public roads through the desert. Voters decided by only a six-point margin that the adult should be in trouble for letting the kid ride the bike. Here, we have a slightly older child driving a vehicle off road. Where do you fall in this case? Is it still wrong to hand over control to a child? Let us know in the poll below and scroll down to watch the video.
