This 2012 Jeep Rubicon custom four-wheel-drive is our showcase vehicle designed and built from a brand new jeep to show our customers what we do. It is in Pristine like new show room condition with over $22,000 in upgrades. This Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited has it all and is still under factory warranty. We purchased it brand-new in Indianapolis Indiana from Champion Chrysler Jeep Dodge and it still holds it's brand-new appearance today. Although it is built to go anywhere, it has never left the road. 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee pricing leaks out
Thu, 24 Jan 2013With our deep dive and auto show coverage of the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee revealed at the Detroit Auto Show, we brought you as much information as Chrysler would allow us to, but one thing we're still left in the dark about was the pricing. It would seem that Jeep Garage might have the answer for that. The Jeep enthusiast forum claims to have gotten its hands on the ordering and pricing breakdown for the updated Grand Cherokee, and while a Jeep representative has yet to get back to us as to the validity of the site's claim, these preliminary numbers look pretty kosher to us.
In base form, the two-wheel-drive Laredo will reportedly start at $28,795, which is a $1,100 increase over the 2013 model year, and the new Grand Cherokee Summit trim level starts at $47,995 for 4x2 models and $50,995 for the 4x4. Waiting for the new diesel engine? The torquey new 3.0-liter oil-burner will be a $4,500 option on Limited, Overland and Summit 4x4 models, but 4x2 pricing (and availability) are not known. As for the range-topping Grand Cherokee SRT (no longer called the SRT8), this added performance could run you an extra $2,700 with a new starting price of $62,995. More importantly, loaded to the gills with all available options, the 2014 Grand Cherokee SRT will top out at around $72,400 - or around $6,000 more than a fully loaded 2013 GC SRT8.

And while it's just a concept for this year's Moab Easter Jeep Safari, it has us dreaming about blasting through the desert at 200 miles per hour. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles released a whole slew of Easter Jeep concepts at an event at the company's Auburn Hills, MI, headquarters today. The 50th annual Moab Safari will take place in just a couple of weeks – it's a sort of mecca for Jeep owners, and for the past few years, FCA brings its concepts out to the rocks and trails of Moab to prove that these are more than mere one-off, delicate showcars. Our own Brandon Turkus was live at FCA's reveal event, and he passed along a bunch of notes, in addition to the official stuff from Jeep. Ram, Jeep redesigns on hold, Alfa Romeo models may come sooner
Wed, Jun 3 2015Last summer, FCA outlined an ambitious five-year plan that sketched out the company's product intentions for each of its brands through the end of 2018. However, even the best strategies sometimes need tweaking. According to Reuters after speaking with unnamed people at auto suppliers, FCA is now possibly delaying at least a dozen projects in North America for a variety of reasons. From vehicle to vehicle, these postponements allegedly last anywhere from just a few months to over a year. The sources from the suppliers claim that in some cases these tweaks are for engineering and design changes. The next-gen Ram 1500 reportedly has among the shorter delays and is being pushed from mid-2017 to November 2017, according to Reuters. Also, the much-discussed future Jeep Wrangler is allegedly moving a little later to July 2017. Among the vehicles purportedly seeing longer delays, the next-gen Grand Cherokee could get pushed back about a year to 2018. That then forces the launch of the three-row, luxury Grand Wagoneer to be even further away. Jeep's upcoming C-segment CUV and the all-new Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger, and Challenger might also see postponements. The one brand allegedly seeing an accelerated plan is Alfa Romeo. Without going into detail, the sources from these suppliers claim that the Italian automaker is getting even more vehicles for its lineup and could get them even faster than planned. "Those plans need to be flexible and fluid, with the potential to add some vehicles, pull some forward and extend the life cycle of others," FCA said to Reuters about all of these allegations. "We look at these programs on a vehicle-by-vehicle basis." Investment in the auto industry has been a major topic for FCA CEO Sergio Marchionne as of late. He believes consolidation is necessary so that companies aren't burning money on the same projects.
