2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara Brilliant Black 8,500 miles One Owner Perfect Condition Clean title instaVIN NMVTIS vehicle report available upon request (e-mail me) I bought this Wrangler new but have used it sparingly (only 8,500 miles in almost 3 years). I ordered it with exactly the options I wanted and planned to keep it a long time. I moved abroad last year with the intention of shortly returning to the U.S. However, due to work, I will be abroad for a few more years and it doesn't make sense for me to keep my Wrangler. This is the ONLY reason I'm selling it; I love this car. I don't need to sell the Jeep and I'm not looking to sell it quickly (although that would be nice). I am selling it because I'm not using it at the moment and I'll likely be out of the U.S. for the next 2-3 of years and I'd rather not have it go to a good home, rather than just sitting for that long. For some additional detail, I was living in New York (the Jeep was purchased in New York) and am currently working for a U.S. company in Mexico City. The Jeep is currently garaged at my parents' house. The title is free and clear. Please contact me with any questions. The full options are listed below, but it includes both the body-color hard and soft tops. In the winter, the hard top seals the car up as well as any normal SUV. In the summer, the soft top is just awesome for top-down driving. It has always been garaged and I've taken extremely good care of it. It also includes the remainder of the 3-year/36,000 mile basic warranty until November 2014 and 5-year 100,000 mile powertrain warranty until November 2016. 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee pricing leaks out
Thu, 24 Jan 2013With our deep dive and auto show coverage of the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee revealed at the Detroit Auto Show, we brought you as much information as Chrysler would allow us to, but one thing we're still left in the dark about was the pricing. It would seem that Jeep Garage might have the answer for that. The Jeep enthusiast forum claims to have gotten its hands on the ordering and pricing breakdown for the updated Grand Cherokee, and while a Jeep representative has yet to get back to us as to the validity of the site's claim, these preliminary numbers look pretty kosher to us.
In base form, the two-wheel-drive Laredo will reportedly start at $28,795, which is a $1,100 increase over the 2013 model year, and the new Grand Cherokee Summit trim level starts at $47,995 for 4x2 models and $50,995 for the 4x4. Waiting for the new diesel engine? The torquey new 3.0-liter oil-burner will be a $4,500 option on Limited, Overland and Summit 4x4 models, but 4x2 pricing (and availability) are not known. As for the range-topping Grand Cherokee SRT (no longer called the SRT8), this added performance could run you an extra $2,700 with a new starting price of $62,995. More importantly, loaded to the gills with all available options, the 2014 Grand Cherokee SRT will top out at around $72,400 - or around $6,000 more than a fully loaded 2013 GC SRT8.

Jeep teases pair of Moab concepts early
Tue, 19 Mar 2013With the 47th annual Moab Easter Jeep Safari coming up at the end of this month, Jeep is preparing to roll out six new off-road-ready concept vehicles. The first two being teased are the Jeep Grand Cherokee "Trailhawk II" concept and the Jeep Wrangler "Slim," and while we have no information on either, we at least get an idea of what they'll look like.
We can't tell why this Wrangler is called Slim, but it has a nice black-and-red paint scheme with a serious off-roading front bumper and five-spoke beadlock wheels. There's even less we can figure out about the Grand Cherokee's Trailhawk II concept except that it appears to be painted up in the same Crusher Orange paint job as the recently introduced SRT Viper TA. We'll likely more of these as well as peeks at the other Moab concepts as we get closet to this year's Moab Easter Jeep Safari, which will be held March 23 through 31.

Tue, 14 May 2013Hennessey Performance Engineering has created an HPE650 package for the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT fitted with the 6.4-liter Hemi engine. When it leaves the showroom floor it has 470 horsepower and gets from 0-60 miles per hour in 4.8 seconds. When it leaves Hennessey's garage floor after the upgrade it has 650 horsepower - 530 hp at the wheels, according to Hennessey - and gets to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds on its way to running the quarter-mile in 12.6 seconds.
There's more than just a Roots-type supercharger bolt-on, with ported cylinder heads and high-flow headers among the many changes made to the engine. You can watch this pre-2014 facelift silver model prove its spec sheet on the drag strip in the video below.
