2006 Wrangler in good condition.
Interior: Very good condition. Non Smoker. Seats in very good condition with no rips or stains. Carpet in very nice condition except on drivers floor board where it is worn. All instruments and gages in working condition. A/C blows very cold and heat very hot. Fan switch has 4 settings with the lowest not working. Drivers side sun visor missing.
Exterior: Factory Soft Top purchased new in Sept. 2009. Still in very good condition. Top has tinted windows with plastic in good condition. Windows need good cleaning with vinyl cleaner as they have some dirt stains. No rips or tears and all zippers in good working condition.
Body has some dents and dings. It was like that when i bought it. Was a salvage out of New York i purchased off EBAY in August 2009. Not sure why was listed that way as only needed windshield and drivers mirror to get registration. Was planning on fixing the body after finishing the suspension lift and tires.
New items purchased since August 2009: Factory parts: Front windshield, drivers side mirror, Soft Top, After Market Parts: Sky Jacker 4" suspension lift, Adjustable Track Bar, Slip Yoke eliminator with extended Drive shaft, Both side mirrors to use when doors are removed.15" Aluminum wheels with BFG All Terrain 33" Tires.
This Jeep has the sought after In line 6 cyl engine with A/C and 6 speed Manual transmission. Low miles at 69,500 which is less than 10,000 per year. Has been a very reliable and dependable vehicle. Only reason selling is newly married and saving to buy a house. Jeep is paid for with title in hand.
Save yourself $$$Thousands$$$.
E-Mail me for a full set of pictures taken showing the damage to the Jeep causing it to be a salvage. You'll be suprised a 2006 with only 38,000 miles on it was totaled??? Some of the damage is to parts that we had planned on changing and customizing anyway!
Relisted due to an error in posting. Originally posted it as a clear title. Which i thought meant no leans and title in hand. It should have been listed as a rebuilt. All that i had to do to have it registered and titled was put on a new windshield and drivers door mirror. The inspector couldn't believe the condition New York considers salvage. Now it only has dents.
My reserve price is much lower than the other 2006 Jeeps listed.
I reserve the right to end this auction early as this Jeep is for sale locally!

2018 Jeep Wrangler spy shots give us best look yet
Wed, May 18 2016A couple weeks ago, we got a fairly comprehensive set of 2018 Jeep Wrangler spy shots. For fans of the JK-series Jeeps, it was all good news: the basic Wrangler Unlimited formula and shape is present and accounted for, meaning this new Wrangler will be an evolution of the current SUV, rather than a ground-up reimagining. The new shots give us some more detail than we had previously, and let us point out some JL Wrangler features that reaffirm FCA's conservative approach. First of all, the heavy camouflage doesn't manage to fully cover the exposed door hinges, just like in the current model, so those are a safe bet for the production version. The raked-back windshield might lose its ability to fold down, we've heard. The JL remains a body-on-frame truck with a solid front axle, evidenced by the front diff peeking out and the radius arms connected to them. The large exterior mirrors also appear to be carryover items, and the taillights look indistinguishable from the current JK. We expect the front fascia to remain clearly recognizable as a Wrangler, but don't be surprised if the headlight and sidemarkers incorporate some LED elements as a nod to current trends. Remember, the JL will spawn a pickup version, and will slim down for better fuel economy with some aluminum elements, likely incorporated in the body. We expect the Pentastar V6 to carry over, but be joined by a diesel and a mild hybrid at some point in the future. It'll be built alongside its JK predecessor for a short time in Toledo, Ohio. Jeep in St. Louis hacked from Pittsburgh
Tue, Jul 21 2015One of America's most popular vehicles contains a security flaw that allows hackers to remotely commandeer it from anywhere on the planet. Cyber-security researchers Chris Valasek and Charlie Miller say they've accessed critical vehicle controls on a 2014 Jeep Cherokee that allowed them to remotely control critical vehicle functions like braking, transmission function, and steering. Automakers have downplayed the possibility a car could be remotely compromised, but the significance of the findings detailed Tuesday could cause them to reevaluate the threats posed to hundreds of thousands of vehicles already on the road. A key finding – the pair needed no physical access to the Jeep to pull off the attack. Valasek and Miller accessed the controls via a security hole in the Sprint cellular connection to Chrysler's UConnect infotainment system. In the course of their research, Valasek sat in his Pittsburgh home and remotely manipulated Miller's Jeep as he drove along a highway outside St. Louis. If you know a car's IP address, they say, a hacker could control it from anywhere. "We didn't add anything, didn't touch it," Valasek told Autoblog. "A customer could drive one of these things off a lot, and they'd have no clue it had these open attack surfaces." Remotely, he disabled brakes, turned the radio volume up, engaged windshield wipers and tampered with the transmission. Further, they could conduct surveillance on the Jeep, measuring its speed and tracking its whereabouts. They conducted the experiments over multiple breaches. They made their findings public on the same day the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the federal agency in charge of vehicle safety, released its latest report on the readiness of government and automakers to fend off these sorts of cyber attacks. Later today, two US Senators are expected to introduce legislation that would help consumers better understand the potential risks of car hacking. In the early stages of their research, Valasek and Miller found a security flaw in the car's wi-fi that allowed them to remotely manipulate controls from a range of about three feet. But in recent months, they found another vulnerability in the Sprint cellular connection in the UConnect system. That was a key breakthrough. "Lo and behold, we found we could communicate with this thing using cellular, and then more research, and 'Holy cow,' we're using the Sprint network to communicate with these vehicles," Valasek said.
FCA spends $1.5 billion to retool plant for Ram production
Tue, Jul 26 2016Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) is planning to invest $1.48 billion to retool its Sterling Heights Assembly plant in metro Detroit to build the next generation of the Ram 1500. The investment will allow the assembly plant to go from unibody to body-on-frame construction. FCA also confirmed that production of the Chrysler 200 will end in December in order for the plant to be altered. As previously reported, FCA is looking to move production of the 1500 from its current assembly plant in Warren to the Sterling Heights Assembly plant (both are in Michigan). While FCA has not released any official plans for the Warren Truck Assembly Plant, Automotive News reports that the plant will be retooled to manufacture the Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer SUVs. Earlier this month, FCA announced plans to invest $1.05 billion to retool the Jeep Wrangler factory. FCA's current investment plans are part of the automaker's push to put competitive products on the road.
