This is a really clean Jeep. I've had five Wranglers so I know what to look for. This TJ is in fantastic condition. It has a clean CARFAX report that shows no accident or damage, only two previous owners, and a $220 adjustment above retail book value.
This Jeep has the legendary 4.0L 6-cylinder engine. I'll never buy another 4-cylinder. The inline six is far superior, with improved power, reliability, and maintenance. The engine in this Jeep is smooth and strong with no problems that I'm aware of. The transmission and transfer case are both good. Drive shafts, axles, and wheel bearings all seem excellent. The interior is really nice. The upholstery is clean with no rips or tears. The seats are tight and comfortable - so sags or soft spots. The fold-and-tumble rear seat is in great shape. There is carpet in the front and back and it's all in great shape. The heater is hot and the A/C blows cold. Everything works just as it should. This Jeep is solid and tight and drives like a dream. It's stable on the highway at 70 mph, nimble on city streets, and confident off-road, in the dirt and gravel. I love driving this Wrangler. If you have any questions about it, please contact me. Chrysler's Woodward Dream Cruise festivities include Ram concept truck debut
Tue, 13 Aug 2013The streets will be crowded next weekend along Woodward Avenue in Royal Oak, Michigan for the 19th Annual Woodward Dream Cruise. As part of the run-up to the festivities, Chrysler has announced that all of its brands - Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, Fiat, SRT and Mopar - will bring along their latest vehicles. Also included will be a collection of classic American cars and various activities for attendees at the official Chrysler location on the corner of Woodward and 13 Mile Road.
Special to this year, Ram brand director Bob Hegbloom and head of design John Dehner will unveil a Ram concept truck on Saturday. Chrysler will also bring Ryan Friedlinghaus of West Coast Customs fame along to show off a few custom Chrysler-made vehicles of his own. Fans of the brand on Facebook will get the chance to virtually customize a vehicle from the automaker's portfolio, with the winner getting their dream car built for them by Chrysler. Pretty cool stuff, no?
As in past years, Ford and General Motors will have an official presence at the event as well, and you can expect to see plenty of cars of all makes and models from all parts of the globe. The madness starts this Friday, August 16, from 4:30 PM to 10 PM, with the main event taking place on Saturday, from 9 AM to 9 PM. Jeep CEO promises Grand Cherokee Hellcat 'before the end of 2017' [UPDATE]
Tue, Jan 12 2016UPDATE: Video of Mike Manley confirming the Grand Cherokee SRT Hellcat has been added. In one of the worst kept secrets in the auto industry, Jeep has confirmed that the Grand Cherokee SRT Hellcat is coming. The news comes from Vvuzz, which has Jeep CEO Mike Manley on camera confirming the monstrous SUV. Manley confirmed that the Jeep, which we hope will offer the same 707-horsepower version of Chrysler's 6.2-liter, supercharged V8 as the Dodge Challenger and Charger, will arrive before the end of 2017. This, friends, is grand news. By the time the Grand Cherokee Hellcat arrives, it'll be faced with an array of high-performance challengers from BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Land Rover, and Porsche. But, if things stay the way they are with the competition and SRT engineers can bring the Hellcat engine's full output to bear on an all-wheel-drive platform, the Grand Cherokee will have a power advantage ranging from 130 to 157 hp. It's one thing to best the competition by a dozen horsepower, it's entirely different to outgun them by an entire Toyota Corolla.
