Reserve Just Lowered! If you know your 4x4's and Off Road modifications/accessories then this should be jumping off the page at you! If you are just looking for a sexy Jeep with a lift kit there is waaaayyy more than that in this Jeep. 4.0 Automatic TJ, 4" Superlift suspension lift kit, Front & Rear Adjustable Upper & Lower Control Arms, Drop Pittman Arm, Swaybar Disconnects, Custom made all aluminum Adjustable Rear Trackbar, Slip Yoke Eliminator Kit with a CV Drive Shaft in it, Shockmounts on the rear have been relocated for flatter belly and ground clearance, Transfer Case Dropdown kit, Differential 3.73 Open Ring and Pinions, H4 LED Headlight bulbs, New Warn VR8000 winch, Bushwacker Pocket Style Fender Flares, Tuffy Console, KC Slim Lights windshield mounted. LED Tail Lamps, All Custom made Extreme Duty Plate Steel Bumpers. I have not noticed any rust problems in the undercarriage (obviously there will be minor surface oxidation).

The four mounted tires are Hankook DynaPro MT 33X12.5R15 with less than 500 miles on them and the spare has never been on the Jeep! It does comes with another set of wheels and rims which are Mickey Thompson wheels, centercaps and bead rings and Nitto Tera Grapplers 35X12.5R15 (not much tread left). Couldn't tell ya if these Mickey Thompsons are real Bead Lockers or Simulated. Lots of flex and play in the suspension so just know it drives accordingly. Not often but I an uneven part of the road and it jiggled till I slowed down. If you plan on doing 85 MPH then plan on using a lot of fuel.

Very bad to the bone Jeep. This Jeep is an evolution over several years and several thousands of dollars of extremely high quality and expensive parts. The 4.0 6 cyl engine was rebuilt less than 10,000 miles ago and it runs as you would expect from a new engine.  Engine always faithfully starts and purrs like a kitten. Plenty of power, automatic transmission shifts smoothly and 4x4 engages great in both high and low. New Dual Head unit radio with bluetooth. Interior is in remarkably good shape with only some small scrapes on the interior plastic dash. Very nice custom steel center console area with locking steel vault so you can actually LOCK your valuables up and away from the easy target that usually comes with owning an open top Jeep. Comes with Hard Top and I think we have some, most or all of a tan Bikini top but certainly not a complete soft top package. The 15" Black steel wheels with Bushwacker flares set it off very well. Suspension is wicked 4" Superlift lift kit, Extra travel adjustable suspension is awesome. The all custom front and rear thick steel plate bumpers are jaw dropping. It's in the barn now and I think the odometer reads around 106,000 but that is subject to change since we drive it. I bought it for my wife since she wanted a Jeep that would make any man jealous but now she says its way too much of a guys Jeep. Having said that, this is a very built, very unique Jeep with a ton of money in it that is highly sought by a very specific buyer and as such the we are asking is probably way too low but our loss is your gain. No trades needed. We'll need a $500 non-refundable deposit within 48 hours of auction's end via PayPal. Balance must be paid within 7 days of auction end via bank wire or cash in person. No personal checks. All funds will need to verified before the Jeep and title will be released.

Jeep is for Sale "AS IS/WHERE IS" with no warranties expressed or implied.

Jeep is located about 15 minutes South of Overland Park, Kansas.

Merecedes-Benz EQS, Ford Mustang Mach-E GT and Subaru Forester Wilderness | Autoblog Podcast #702

Fri, Oct 29 2021

In this episode of the Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Senior Editor James Riswick. They've been driving some exciting new EVs, like the Ford Mustang Mach-E GT and the Mercedes-Benz EQS. They also discuss driving the new Subaru Forester Wilderness, as well as the perfectly agreeable Toyota Camry XSE Hybrid. James compares four big-name off-roaders — the Ford Bronco, Jeep Wrangler, Toyota 4Runner and Land Rover Defender — based on their ability to accommodate a big load of luggage. Next they reach into the mailbag for comments on the Genesis GV70, as well as a Spend My Money question about replacing a wrecked Subaru Ascent with another three-row SUV. Daily Driver: 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited X Edition

Thu, Apr 9 2015

Daily Driver videos are micro-reviews of vehicles in the Autoblog press fleet, reviewed by the staffers that drive them every day. Today's Daily Driver features the 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited X Edition, reviewed by Adam Morath. You can watch the video above or read a transcript below. Watch more Autoblog videos at /videos. VIDEO TRANSCRIPT Hi, I'm Adam Morath for Autoblog. Now, undoubtedly, one of the coolest things about this job is that you're in and out of so many different vehicles, but, I'll be honest, there are times where, if you're in very similar vehicles, they can start to run together a little bit. That's why I love getting into a car like this that just snaps you right out of it because it's so unique and so different from anything else on the market. Of course I'm talking about the Jeep Wrangler. I'm in a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. This is the X Edition, which stands for X Games. Jeep is a big title sponsor of the 2015 Aspen X Games and you can see that all over this vehicle. You have white, glossy accent plastic in the interior; mountain graphics throughout the interior and exterior of the vehicle – a nod, obviously, to the winter sports and skiing that you would do out in Aspen. And then in keeping with that mountainous theme, you have an Alpine nine-stereo speaker system. I'll be honest, though, that some of it feels a little overdone to me. For instance, there's a power-bulge in the hood. Credit to Jeep: the vents are actually functional, but this is not the trim I would go for, just personally. It's one of those vehicles that people are always wondering, "I really like the look of it [and] I like the capability, but could I live with a Wrangler?" It's the same sort of question you'll get from people who are looking at a sports car, "could I actually live with this is my daily driver?" And I have to say, Jeep has come a long way – Wrangler, in particular, has come a long way – in terms of driving comfort. Of course, don't expect "Lexus quiet." You can probably hear it's a big noisy in the cabin. It's a bit of a bumpy ride. There are things about this vehicle that I could see being annoying in your day-to-day life. For instance, the door: it's essentially an external hinge on the door, but it doesn't stay open for you. So, if you're on any sort of a tilt, the door will come back in and you have to just prop it open with your leg. Little things like that.

Side-X-Sides: The next Wrangler?

Wed, Feb 24 2016

The Jeep Wrangler has a huge following, but I've long thought that it is ripe for plucking. And if rumors of a neo-Bronco prove to be true, it sounds like Ford may agree. If a new Bronco does pan out, I hope it's small like the original Bronco, and not a huge F-150-based vehicle. To be a true Wrangler-fighter it has to be small and nimble. Here's another option How about developing a slightly larger, but street-legal version of the popular side-x-sides which are so popular with hunters, fishermen, farmers and anyone outdoors-oriented? This, to me, seems to be the next logical evolution of these side-x-sides. Currently side-x-sides have to be either trailered or stuffed into the back a of a pickup to wherever they're going to be used. Offering a street-legal off-roader solves that problem. There's no shortage of side-x-side makers out there. Any one of them could engineer and market such a vehicle, should they decide to. Plus there are plenty of dealer outlets, although Honda is the only one that currently sells cars, etc.; so they could have an edge in the selling and servicing aspects of such a vehicle. That said, I'm not sure Honda would want to sell such a vehicle in their car outlets. It may be better suited to their dealers that sell motorcycles, ATVs, watercraft, etc., as that outdoorsman type of customer already frequents those dealers. Then again, if the new Ridgeline proves popular, such a vehicle could offer something much more capable and sporting to that customer who is looking for something more extreme. The Wrangler has its fans, and they love it just as it stands. In fact Wrangler fans would reject any drastic engineering changes to their beloved off-roaders Side-x-sides, on the other hand, offer a completely different take on how to engineer a small but serious off-roader. Both are valid approaches. Currently the only thing missing are street-legal side-x-sides that go head-to-head against the Wrangler. Having more purchase options available is always a good thing; seems like a no-brainer to me. Image Credit: Honda Jeep Off-Road Vehicles open road
