I have a really nice 1995 Jeep Wrangler with a 6in Lift on it. Its a 4cyl 4 spd Manual drive jeep. The jeep only has 117K original miles on it. This jeep has the rock crawler fenders on it, really nice aftermarket HID Headlights installed, New alternator and water pump as well and new heater core along with some more things. It runs really amazing. Has radio in it as well. seat covers, floor mats and new carpet put in it also. Has hard doors and a hard top on it that can all be removed for those summer days comming up. Of course it is 4x4 and it hasnt been mud bogging as you can tell when you see it. Very well taken care of. Has diamond plate trim around it, a tow hitch. Any more questions just call me at 336 688 6372, Thanks again! This is a really nice jeep for its age, it is not perfect but I want to try and tell you everything about it I can, the key does not unlock the doors on the jeep but you can get one made for it if you want to, usually never lock it, it is a jeep. To get it to go to 4wd low you just have to remove the boot that goes around the 4wd shifter because when we put carpet and boot on it put it up to far but 4wd is no problem, never really took this jeep off road or mud bogging, been really well maintained. The tach and oil pressure gage does not work, never really looked into it, nothing really that important. It runs very well and has plenty of power with the 4spd transmission in it. It is just intime for someone to enjoy it this summer and so on. Can put bigger tires on it you like, the front tires are pretty good on it but the back two tires could be replaced, there still good for awhile. Trying to think if there is anything else just want to be completly up front and not hide nothing. For the price you will not be disappointed in this jeep at all. The seats have covers on the front ones, the seats have some rips in them but just always kept seat covers on it and that is ok with me. If there is anything else you want to know just call me at 336 688 6372 any time.

If you want to see it test it before you buy just let me know, I have no issue at all with that. Thanks again for looking and reading or if you want more pics let me know!!!

Upon bidding and winning jeep will only require a 500.00 dollar paypal deposit within 24 hours. Pay the rest in CASH only upon pickup! If you cant to paypal amount let me know and we will make arrangments!

Lexus tops JD Power Vehicle Dependability Study again, Buick bests Toyota

Wed, Feb 25 2015

It shouldn't surprise anyone, but Lexus has once again taken the top spot in JD Power's Vehicle Dependability Study. That'd be the Japanese luxury brand's fourth straight year at the top of table. The big news, though, is the rise of Buick. General Motor's near-premium brand beat out Toyota to take second place, with 110 problems per 100 vehicles compared to Toyota's 111 problems. Lexus owners only reported 89 problems per 100 vehicles. Besides Buick's three-position jump, Scion enjoyed a major improvement, jumping 13 positions from 2014. Ram and Mitsubishi made big gains, as well, moving up 11 and 10 positions, respectively. In terms of individual segments, GM and Toyota both excelled, taking home seven segment awards each. The study wasn't good news for all involved, though. A number of popular automakers finished below the industry average of 147 problems per 100 vehicles, including Subaru, (157PP100), Volkswagen (165PP100), Ford/Hyundai (188PP100 each) and Mini (193PP100). The biggest losers (by a tremendous margin, we might add) were Land Rover and Fiat, recording 258 and 273 problems per 100 vehicles. The next closest brand was Jeep, with 197PP100. While the Vehicle Dependability Study uses the same measurement system as the Initial Quality Survey, the two metrics analyze very different things. The VDS looks at problems experienced by original owners of model year 2012 vehicles over the past 12 months, while the oft-quoted IQS focuses on problems in the first 90 days of new-vehicle ownership. Like the IQS, though, the VDS has a rather broad definition of what a problem is. Because of that, a low score from JD Power is no guarantee of extreme unreliability, so much as just poor design. In this most recent study, the two most reported problems focused on Bluetooth connectivity and the voice-command systems. The former leaves plenty of room for user error due to poor design (particularly true of the Bluetooth systems on the low-scoring Fords, Volkswagens and Subarus), while the second is something JD Power has already confirmed as being universally terrible. That makes means that while these studies are important, they shouldn't be taken as gospel when it comes to automotive reliability. Jeep Wrangler diesel likely after 2015 model refresh

Thu, 28 Feb 2013

We automotive journalists aren't always the right people to ask about whether a US-spec vehicle should or should not be offered with a diesel powertrain (hint: the answer is usually "YES"). But when it comes to the iconic, off-road-ready Jeep Wrangler, we aren't the only ones who have been clamoring for an oil-burning engine behind that famous seven-slat grille. To that end, it appears there's good news on the horizon, as Jeep CEO Mike Manley recently told Ward's Auto that the "Wrangler is on the radar to get (a) diesel."
"I'm confident that the Grand Cherokee will show just how large a demand there is for diesel, and I think what that will do is reinforce the need for us to target Wrangler as a vehicle that can take a diesel," Manley told Ward's. The most rugged of Jeeps is scheduled to get an overhaul around 2015-16, and the diesel powertrain will likely be introduced around that time.
This year alone, Chrysler will be adding a diesel engine to the Grand Cherokee SUV, as well as the Ram 1500 pickup and Promaster utility van.

Toledo mayor, Jeep champion Michael Collins dies from heart attack

Mon, Feb 9 2015

The city of Toledo is mourning the loss of its mayor and the campaign to keep production of the Jeep Wrangler in the Ohio city has lost a champion after Michael Collins suffered a heart attack behind the wheel recently. Born, raised and educated in Toledo, Collins was a Marine Corps veteran and a city councilor. He was elected mayor in 2013 and assumed office on January 2, 2014, a little over a year ago. He was driving an SUV provided by the city in a snow storm on February 1 of this year when he suffered a heart attack and crashed into a utility pole. He remained in critical condition for days until he was taken off artificial life-support. During his relatively short term in office, Collins became an outspoken and energetic advocate of keeping the Jeep plant in Toledo, where it has been assembled for decades. The next-generation Wrangler is set to switch to aluminum construction, which could lead to moving its production to another location, but Collins (alongside Governor John Kasich and others) had worked hard to convince FCA US to keep it in town. Whether his efforts will prove successful remains to be seen, but our hearts go out to his friends, family and constituents. Michael is survived by his wife Sandy, three daughters and eight grandchildren. He was 70 years old.
